Lest We Forget

Rate this book
Michael Corey is a historian and teacher, not a revolutionary. Yet, as his nation descends toward authoritarianism and forces its own twisted version of history on a captive nation through the new science of synaptic engineering, he finds that he is compelled to resist the growing governmental oppression. With his professional life being systematically dismantled by State, Corey finds that his own personal integrity makes it impossible for him not to stand against the growing tyranny.

I've worn many hats in my 48 years on the Earth. There were many so-called medial jobs, a brief experiment with law enforcement, a long stint in private security, and a yet to be completed degree in political science. Through it all, however, I've been and storyteller and an artist. So, in the later third of my life, I decided to sit down and actually write the novel that's been bouncing around in my skull for years.
