Good but......

While I enjoyed this story with the title being Duo I was expecting more of him in the story. I liked that there was something behind his name. However, it felt a little rushed. I'm still going to keep reading I hope they expand more as the series continues.

Absolutely loving this series

I cannot shout loud enough in this review to tell you how much I am loving this series!!!!!!!! It's page turning, twisting, and dramatic. Expect the unexpected and you will still be surprised by the twists and turns this story takes. Enjoy!!!

2nd installment

In this book Lexie and Constance relationship undergoes a major revision. We never really get Lexie' s take on that in this book. Constance's Grandmother returns from Wales with a lot of new information about the family tree. She keeps Constance and Lexus in hiding and Liam shows up again. Grandma and Liam agree Constance needs to be trained in magic and both girls need to be trained in fighting, however Constance doesn't wield her magic like anyone else, so figuring out how to teach her is challenging. And then Duo shows up. He is Octavius' assassin and even outmatches Liam. As we learn more about the two sides in this contest, it is not at all clear who the real good guys are. Constance is beginning to get a handle on her magic and she is not really thrilled where any of this is going, but she is still in the learning stages of becoming a player. The dark undercurrents of the last book are even more pronounced in this one. It is still interesting, but I am not sure how much longer I will continue this series if I am not seeing more light at the end of the tunnel.

Amazing

An amazing follow up on her debut novel. Raven keeps leaving me begging for more! I could not stop reading this book! I laughed, I cried, and now I can't wait to read Tresia.

Good book

My only real complaint is it was to short. I read both books today. Enjoyed them laughed etc. Its a slightly different take on the usual unexpected magic, power life and I'm looking forward to see where it goes. Waiting anctiiously for book three

Keeps you reading

The first book had a slow beginning but when it picked up it didn't stop. Duo was even more quick paced. The characters are well rounded and make you care about them. Surprise ending keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. Can't wait for the next book.

The main character I think had a God complex. She whines too much i prefer main characters with a backbone. She spent the whole time whalowing in self-pity and blaming herself for things that were beyond her control. It was a very depressing main character.

This book was AWESOME!!!

I can't get enough of Constance and Lexie. Their love for one another (BFF POWER), plus the excellent story and development of one horrific event to the next; keeps me turning pages resulting in all my chores piling up until I get done. You're missing out if you don't start reading the "Stone Mage Saga".
