Haunted Heart by Juliana Conners is my fifth book from this awesome writer and most definitely will not be the last. I voluntarily read and reviewed this awesome book when I borrowed from Kindle Unlimited and can't wait to read more about hot and sexy motorcycle man Larson. This novella is about Larson and Brynn. It's fast pace, funny, very well written and full of sexy outlaws, curvy heroine, cute little man named Caleb, creepy clowns, steamy sex, suspense, some dark themes with a bit of a cliffhanger. BUT it has a promising final that would lead to a longer version of Larson and Brynn's story and the next books in The Bradford Brothers series to which it is tied. Trust me it's worth it!!!! I can't wait for the full story to be released. I had become a big fan of Juliana's books!!!!

Great story

I loved this! It's a fun quick read with great characters. Larson and Brynn were well written and I fell in love with them early on. Bryan is back in her home town for Halloween and her best friend's husband brings a friend along so that she's not the third wheel. They have an immediate connection and things take off from there. I loved the connection they had and how the story as laid out. There's some explicit hot sex between the two of them that completely fits the story. I loved that this was just their beginning. The story wasn't rushed and we are set up for the longer, continued version of their story. We aren't left hanging and instead get a happy start for the two of them. I can't It for their full story to come out. I really enjoyed these characters.

Brynn is a lawyer and a single mother living in New York but has the opportunity to go back to her hometown to a big time clients Halloween party. Of course Brynn would ask her law school friend, Riley and her husband to go too because this was a party everyone wanted to be at. And of course Riley and Jenson would set her up with a blind date who just happened to be a MC member just like Jenson. Once they see each other in person it’s a race to see how long it will take for the slutty cheerleader and football costumes to come off.

For all of you people who are NOT FANS of clowns just be warned this may seem a little creepy at times. This is a fast paced read that will draw you in and then leave you hanging on anxiously waiting to see what is ahead for Brynn and her biker, Larson.

This is a short novella that sets us up for a full length story coming soon. We are told this at the beginning, which I appreciate. It is fast moving with Brynn and Larson hitting it off immediately. There is some mystery and suspense along with Brynn and Larson's intimate scenes. Parts of the storyline brought in things that are happening in our real life news right now. Overall I thought it was a good story and am looking forward to reading the full length story that develops from this one.

Wasnt expecting a short

Too short for my taste for me to read in an hour. Pulled me in but i wanted more. I know the second one is out and i have it just seems to be missing something. The insta-love feels a little forced and i feel like there are a few contradictions. Other than those its a decent read.

What do they do , bring her a date ...A Hot Biker Named Larson.
How will this night Turn out ??
This novella kept me interested ,there were some editing issues , but with actual current events ,like the Terrorizing clowns loose in the neighborhoods .I loved Brynn with Larson they had some Steamy chemistry , but I wanted to know more about their backgrounds and how come her client acted the way he did at the party ?
Something wasn't right there and I needed more .

This is a intriguing and fascinating novella to read, and I really enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this novella is: drama, suspense, twists and turns, memories, a curvy woman and mother (Brynn), her cute son (Caleb) a man on the run from the law and his past (Lawson), Halloween party, strange creepy clowns, stolen cars, explicit language, danger, lust, emotional feelings and erotic scenes. I found the story-line to be well thought out and written. The characters have emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written Bad Boy Dark Romance Novella with a HFN.

Hmmmmm....Halloween romance!

This book is a spin off from the Bradford Brothers series but can be read as a standalone.
It's a novella so it's short and based around Halloween season. Brynn is a single mother and a big firm city lawyer. Larson is a cocky, man-slut, biker dude and friends with Jenson. Jenson Bradfords wife, Riley, is Brynns bf. Sooo anyway, there's a big Halloween party, a billionaire client of her firm, where they all attend.
It's basically, a cheesy insta-love sex romp with poor, unlikable characters who act like teenagers. Not a lot to like or enjoy I'm afraid....other than I found it free.

This was disappointing! Amazon says 70 pages, which I believe sacrificed the story content by making it a novella with a big cliff hanger wondering what happens. I felt I read a pre-view of the first half of a book, not a full novella story. This could have been much better. Flow was choppy & the language/verbage felt off for a biker & lawyer. There were too many gaps for information, & other parts of the story that didn't make sense. The basic plot does have potential if it were to be re-worked.

Fast quick novella it was a really good story Brynn came back in her hometown for a mandatory appearance at a rich client's Halloween party, she takes her best friend and her friend’s husband she finds out that they invited a blind date for her ! Larson had not planned on staying until he saw Brynn their liking was instant and her son also likes Larson. And what would a Halloween story be if there was not a evil clown or more. This is just the beginning of their story hoping for one to continue this one.

What fun Halloween can be!

Fast paced, fun story. Brynn is a single mother in town to schmooze at a client Halloween party and visit with her friend. Larson was doing a favor for a friend by going to a costume party and meeting his friend's wife's best friend. On look at Brynn in her cheerleader costume had him hurrying to the nearest party shop for a matching outfit. One night stand, clown and motorcycle what a way to begin their story.

Haunted Heart is about Brynn and Larson.

Brynn is back in town for a short visit and to go to a Halloween party thrown by her legal firm's top client, with her friend Riley and her husband Jensen. Jensen brings his MC brother Larson along and it's an instant attraction for both Brynn and Larson.

Since this was a short novella, leading to a full length novel, I'll leave the story at that. It was a hot Halloween story and I look forward to reading more about Brynn and Larson!

I want more of Larson

This was a great short novella that teased me with Larson. I want more of him and I can't wait to read it. It was filled with instant chemistry and creepy clowns. It was just a teaser of whats to come. You will not be disappointed with the lust that just flows off the pages.
