Classic Disney haunts are home for the howl-iday! In “It’s In the Bag” and “Public Ugly #1,” trick-or-treating Donald scares up a literal ton of candy… then is forced to get rid of it by fair means or foul!
William Roger Van Horn (born February 15, 1939) is an American cartoonist. Van Horn debuted professionally in his forties with the black-and-white comic book Nervous Rex (1985-1987). A huge fan of Carl Barks, from 1988 Van Horn became a Disney comics artist and writer, producing for decades Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge stories (occasionally with scripts by John Lusting), primarily for the northern European market. His son Noel Van Horn has worked extensively as a Disney cartoonist as well.
Two great stories. Bright and colorful. Classic Donald story. Entertainment for the young and young at heart. The boys are going out trick-or-treating. Donald is bragging that he got more candy than they could carry. They decided to bet on who would get the most. The looser will give the winner all his candy. Donald is not very successful. The boys got rock candy, Donald got a rock. The boys got candy bars, Donald got shaving cream to the face. He is getting discouraged. Donald has a plan. Do his plans ever work? I'm going to let you listen/read to find out what it is. Yipee!! Who gets all the candy? I borrowed this comic on a Kindle Unlimited website and so can you.
