AR Wise is back and with a new series! This novella is the start and is the beginning of a whole new world and journey for us fans! We start out at the beginning of a CME(Coronal Mass Ejection) which is heading towards the Earth and two brothers who are about to head out on a trip to get to one brother’s family in Texas. As things start to get crazy in the world, another wrench is thrown in and all Hell breaks loose! I have been a fan of Mr Wise’s for quite a long time and always love his work! Survive Day One is another story that I love by this talented author who with his writing pulls the reader into the story and makes you feel everything that is happening. I think this will be one of his most frightening works due to the fact that this could possibly happen! I can without hesitation recommend this story and any of his other books to anyone who enjoys a well written and entertaining story!

Excellent read!!
Very excited to have finally started reading the series. Have had these first five books downloaded for quite some time and wanted to read them one after the next. Read Survive Day One straight through and have to say I am very impressed with the characters Porter, Red and June. Look forward to the next four books and the rest of their adventure.

So happy A.R. Wise is back
This is a short start but well worth the time. Action begins at the very beginning of the story and is intense all the way through. The characters are well developed and likeable and I can't wait for the next one!

So happy to see Wise is writing again. Day One is a great read, and a quick read that puts you on the road to a new story. As with all his stories Wise's characters feel like real people with their own histories and personalities, without falling into any overt archetypes. It's tough to critique the story since this is the first section of the journey so everything moves fairly quickly while setting up the premise and characters. Day One is only the beginning, and I'm real curious to see where it goes.

Omg! He is back!
I read this in one sitting. As a long term fan of Wise's writing I was excited to read this as he returned to the apocalyptic genre. This story grabbed me from the first page and I am so freaking psyched for book 2! Awesome read. You owe it to yourself to dive into this book immediately!
