Harper Sloan is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today best selling author. She resides in north Georgia with her three daughters, four cats and one dog. While being independently published is a dream, she also has three traditionally published titles with Pocket Books. When she isn't working hard on her next novel, you can most definitely find her with a book in hand.
So I LOVE this series by this author. It is just a fantastic read. The bonus stories were perfect and I loved every minute of them. First story: Oh my goodness keeping these kids straight is crazy! This was so fun to read and catch up on the kids of the parents from Corps Security. I have to say I gave it 5 stars because the writing was good and the story done well. However I knew who was stalking and what would happen to Dani from the first moment. There wasn't a lot of mystery or suspense in that area for me. I loved the picture Izzy gave Dani! Second story: I don't know why this one hit me so bad but those damn things wouldn't stop leaking from my eyes. I like how as Liam found his soul mate he overcame similar struggles his Dad had in finding love. I think it truly shows the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I would have loved to know if he read her book Bleeding Love to see his reaction to the rawness of it. I also wonder if Meghan ever let Dani in on her previous life or even Lee's Mom. Man there is some conversation they could relate too. I love how the vision of Liam finding love was mirrored by what he sees in his parents. It was great that this story and the previous one focuses on strong foundations and finding that love even if you aren't from a broken home. Molly is FABULOUS, oh man that child. I could just reach out and bounce a curl of hers lol. I feel like she will be the C-man of this series. Here's to tea parties and makeovers. Third story: I am so in love with this whole series. This one was no different than the others. Fantastically written and an amazing journey to a HEA. Nate - is definitely a great character. I love that he went the nontraditional path compared to his Dad and the others at Corps Security. He made a name for himself on his own. I like how he is secretive in his goals but so smart. Watching him change to give Ember the world was great. Ember - what a quite and demure girl who I definitely think comes into her own. She blooms and becomes an amazingly strong person. Their HEA was great and I love the epilogues. Bam - love that doggie!
It was so good to read again and remember my fav couples Coh and Dani( God the chemistry between them Is out of the charts Liam and Megan(Molly) my goodness, can anybody be more cute and adorable? And my fav Nate and Ember, I will never forget for all the things that the fate made to put this couple in to the right path, Ember is my favourite Heroine, I just loved her Thank you Harper for doing this again to your readers
Unexpected Fate This is the first book in the spin-off of Corps Security: The Series. In this book we get the grownup Cohen Cage, the sweet little boy we first meet in Cage. He and Dani (Axel and Izzy’s daughter) have grown up always knowing each other and Dani has always been in love with Cohen. Cohen tried as long as he could to keep his feelings hidden because they have an almost five year age difference and Dani was too young. He was also afraid of what their close-knit families would think. When they finally come together it is the night before Cohen is deployed overseas and they confess their feelings. While he is there worrying about Dani she is dealing with some crazy stuff at home. Will their new relationship be able to withstand the distance and the unforeseen circumstances at home? I love when authors write multi-generational series and I am glad to get this series of the Corps Security men’s children.
Bleeding Love Megan has had a terrible life. She is a single mother who we met in Unexpected Fate. Her husband was killed overseas. He was her best friend growing up with her crappy parents and she misses him dearly. She meets Liam (Lee) through Cohen and Dani (Unexpected Fate). From the time he sees her Lee knows she is the one, but he also knows that she has shut herself down from caring for anyone but her daughter. They are often in the same social situations and he watches her only speaking to her now and then so he doesn’t push her away, until he can see she is in a little better place and then he makes his move. Lee won’t let up until she is living again. He was very sweet and never really waivered in his feelings for her and he loved her daughter just as much. I would recommend you read Corps Security: The Series first, especially Beck (Liam’s parents story). It can be a stand alone but it’s nice to have the background on their parents in my opinion.
When I’m With You This is Nate (Axel and Izzy’s son) and Ember’s (Maddox and Emmy’s daughter) story. They have known each other their entire lives. When Ember first professes her love Nate pushes her away because she is so young and they have a 6 year age difference. A while later Nate makes one big mistake and hurts Ember without knowing it. When he finally figures out why she has pulled so far away he realizes he can’t let her go and sets out to win her love back. Ember doesn’t want to be hurt again and she pushes to keep Nate away. She has a boyfriend in the beginning who she had already been planning to break up with, because she really feels nothing for him. They had only been together a couple of months. Some drama ensues on their way to happily ever after. This book had four great epilogues and I think you should read Corps Security: The Series to have some background, but it isn’t necessary.
UNEXPECTED FATE: Dani on cold medicine makes for an interesting night "Are you hard...everywhere? My dream is going to stop soon. It always does. You should just tell me now. Then, when I wake up, I won't be disappointed because I once again missed all the good stuff." I sigh deeply. "I bet you're huge," I giggle. "Eff. Me," he whispers on a prayer. "That would be nice too." Axel we thought he was bad with his woman well ladies it's ten times worse with his little girl, "how many times do I have to tell you not to hit like that? I could see your form was off all the way across the room. Should have gone for the crotch. Always go for the crotch, Dani." Some intimate moments between Dani and Cohen had me laughing, "can't say I've ever had a chick laugh at my c*** before, Dani-girl." Dani when she's blissfully happy she still puts her man in his place, "I love you. That's why the tears. But if you plan on marrying me, you better ask me when you haven't effed me raw." This is going to be another great series that I can't wait to see more of. BLEEDING LOVE: Sweet Jesus Liam you'd tempt the devil, “do you want to play games, darlin’?” he asks, sidestepping the cart and pulling my hands from the handle. “I think you would love the kind of games I have in mind.” Where Megan is concerned Liam's body has a mind of its own, “keep looking at me like and we’re going to have issues,” his voice grumbles. I lick my lips and all his laughter stops. But my eyes never leave his crotch. Jesus, is he getting harder? “Megan,” he warns." I love seeing all the kids grown up and finding their own loves, I'm glad we could continue seeing the other men in this series from time to time. WHEN IM WITH YOU: I really loved Nate, “right, so you’re making dinner?” he questions, moving his hand to adjust himself. I watch his long fingers work the raised denim with a groan deep in his throat. “Let’s go inside, Em, and please let me go first. I’m not sure I can handle seeing those shorts going up the stairs.” Nate's compliments are unique, “no, definitely not dinner,” he rumbles and presses his erection against my back. “I love food, but food doesn’t make me hard.” I loved this book, Nate was a great guy he and Ember were perfect for each other.
Oooh my yes now it's the children of the hot Corps Security Team first up we meet Danni and Cohen wholly damn it's hot but there's sadness and tears who is it that is stalking her if it's not Cohen as his away? You need to read to find out.
Liam Beckett and Megan can she find love again with hotness or will she keep herself and daughter Molly away from it all.
Than we have Nate and Ember they have been friends for year's and of course there families are all together what happened 3 years ago that makes Ember not wanting to be friends with him. And why won't he finally let her know his feelings for her. And than there's someone being nasty to her who is it and will they finally come together hot sexy yummy go read.

When I'm with You is book 3 in the Hope Town Series. I enjoyed When I'm with You and can't wait to continue with the Hope Town Series. I loved Ember and Nate.
Emotional roller coaster, and great story-lines with the hottest heros!!!!
I fell in love with their amazing parents in the Corps Security series, and couldn't wait to read about the beautiful children of this group. This Hope Town collection highlights some of their children that are just as swoon-worthy as their parents. The closeness and the tightness of this "family" group is something to envy.
And Oh My God, Sway once again stole my heart and had me laughing my butt off!! I cannot wait for the next book in this series!
I absolutely can't get enough of these books. This is my gosh I don't even know how many re-reads of this Series. Let bed that they were all together and the bonus chapters I loved . Three great couples who all release love is worth fighting for. Swoon worthy men and their women who you want to be friends with.
I fell in love with this series Harper Sloan knows how to pull at your heart strings with each one of these books. You won't be dissapointed with this series I hope there is more to come from the rest of the gang that were in this book.
I loved the original series and haven't been let down by this spin off. Each story in this three book bundle gets a little extra scene after it's over. I will always take more of these characters all day, any day.
Loved these kids....but I have to say I loved their parents stories more, sorry! The alpha dads just out-shined them in every way! That's not to say I didn't enjoy these books because I most certainly did I just loved their parents stories more ;)
This was a nice steamy romance. Good chemistry between Nate and Ember, some sexy scenes and interesting dialogue. A couple of random typos but nothing to detract from the story. All in all a very good read!
I absolutely love this series! I love getting the kids from Corps Security. Full of intensity and suspense. Love the alpha males! I hope we get more of the kid's stories! Amazing!
I've already got these books but bought the set so I could read the bonus parts and it was defiantly worth it! I absolutely love all the books in this series and can't recommend them enough, I just hope we get more from these guys xxx
Cohen and Dani, Liam and Megan, Nate and Ember's stories were awesome! The guys take after their dads and are very protective of their women. The women are independent and supportive of their husbands. Loving this series!
Such a great branch off of Corps Security. It made it that much more funny to read through as the ties/jokes connected from their parents books. Loved every single one
I bought these all separate before I bought is. What can I say I loved the story lines and super happy to see some of the kids from the first books got their own stories.
