With half the Venantium dead and the Inner Circle no more, their only hope lies with another group of sorcerers who've risked their lives to learn the truth about the Darkworld. But the group have an agenda of their own, and with no Barrier left to contain the demons, nobody is safe from corruption.

Ash must unravel one final mystery if she is to defeat Lucifer and Mephistopheles for good. But the truth lies within the Darkworld itself, and even if she survives the journey, there may not be anything left to return to…

As is usual my review is for the whole series of The Dark world books 1-5

As with all the books from Emma L Adams I have again thoroughly enjoyed the work she has put into the history where needed, the detail into the towns included. (The ones that were real and made up) I come from Manchester and my daughter lives in Central London so it helped me to visualise, when I was immersed in the detail of the towns, especially the mad run through the tube station. I love the description of the dark world and the demons that exist within it.
The story is amazing with the uni students descriptions and the human demons, the possibility of a human and Demon combination is both scary and intriguing. I fully recommend yet another series by Emma and I cabby wait for the next adventure.

Dark world Series

Sometimes by the time you get to book number 5 you are getting bored, characters and plot are getting stale......not in this series! The characters continue to develop and there is no shortage of action. I hope someday there will be a book 6, when they are grown, or their children? This is a fun, page turner series. If you like the supernatural do not pass this series by!!!!!!! I look forward to reading more books by Emma L. Adams.

Excellent series

This entire series was full of magic, twists, turns, mystery, action, love, friendship, betrayal, even a bit of lit. homage, and of course apocalyptic doom, making it a truly enjoyable read. I couldn't stop reading it, and would recommend it!

This was a great conclusion to the Darkworld series! I almost wish it could have kept going, but then it probably would have begun to drag. I would still love to see a follow-up book that delves deeper into the aftermath, including Ash's new "job" (if you will, don't want to spoil).

Another great story.

This was a good ending and wrap up for the series. It had a lot of action in contrast to the earlier books.

This last book in the series had an adequate ending, without leaving unanswered questions. After book 4, I expected less talk and more action, but it was a good series that I would recommend.
