Well I wasn't expecting the events that took place in this hottie of a short story. Damn! Katie is highly attractive to Gabe, the sexy stripper she met when she was out on a girls night. Not everything is as it seems and we're taken on a quick and sexy ride with these two and some additional twists and sexy turns. This is my unbiased and voluntary review

Stepdaddy Stripper is a fabulous, taboo tale with steaming hot sex scenes that are sure to make you blush and get you hot n' bothered! A word of warning...do NOT read in public and you will need a cold shower after this quickie!
This is definitely a case of "don't judge a book" by its title. There is absolutely NO cheating in this book whatsoever. Honestly, I was worried about the relationship between Katie's mother and Gabe, as it would have been awkward had there been a sexual relationship between them. Cara pushed my limits of comfortability in that regard, but it's one of the reasons I kept turning the pages. I mean, aside from the amazing and intense sexual chemistry between Gabe and Katie. I was on a mission to seek out the true nature of Katie's Mom and Gabe's relationship and was pleased and relieved to find out that things were not what they initially appeared to be.
I'm not gonna lie here, there is one scene in particular that intrigued me like no other. I have, affectionately dubbed it the M/F/M sandwich scene. Now normally that isn't my thing, but I couldn't stop reading it, even if I wanted to! It's one of those things you know is taboo and not socially acceptable... the forbidden fruit if you will, but you just can't look away. It was incredibly arousing and just one of the many things I have come to love about Cara's writing. She loves to give you insta love, with a HEA and a heavenly slice of taboo on the side!

I'm really hoping this author keeps writing these wonderful out of the box books because I for one love them. What I wouldn't give to be the meat in a Gabe and Jesse sandwich ! Katie is a 21 year old college student who has tried several times to lose her virginity. Some hilarious things have gotten in the way of her popping her cherry and she's starting to feel like it will never happen. On a girls night out her and her friends go to Banana Manor, an all male strip club. She is totally mesmerized by one of the sexy dancers who grabs her to dance with him. Afterwards he takes her to a back room where things get hot and heavy but the fire alarm goes off before they can have sex. Her parents are divorced and she doesn't really get along with her Mother so she's not to thrilled she has to go to her house for dinner. Her Mother is recently engaged and she wants Katie to meet the man she's marrying in six months. When Katie gets to her Mom's house she is shocked to meet her fiancé Gabe who also happens to be the stripper she almost had sex with. I don't want to say anything else and spoil it so I'll just say this is a really good book and not everything is as it seems.

Here's the thing, I get that she hated her mom (even though it seemed like she had no valid reason besides her mom was a bitch), but she didn't feel an ounce of guilt about messing around with her future stepdad? All she cared about was how it impacted her. Plus, I'm a 24 year old virgin and have had my fair share of bad guy experiences, but I am not desperate to bang any guy that looks at me.

I received an ARC of this book as a prize in a competition and it was a nice surprise.
Did I love the book? NO, did I enjoy it? YES.
I think is too hard sometimes to appreciate a story that is very short. I feel this book had great potential if it had been a longer read and therefore my review is reflection of this.
There are so many books out there that fall under the same category and lately I have read few MFM's (Manège) so as I was reading I felt things were just hotting up when suddenly we reached the end.
I wont go into much detail as I may be giving away the imminent plot but in this story we meet Katie who after few failed attempts is desperate to get rid of her "V" card. Whilst on a night out with her friends at a strip club she has a very hot and close encounter with one of the dancers, she can't believe her luck the and the turn of events, sadly things come to an abrupt end and she is unable to know the identity of the hunk who practically made all her dreams come true; that is until she comes to her mum's house to meet her future Stepdaddy. Things speed up from here onwards and unfortunately this only left me wishing things would have moved at a slower pace to thoroughly explore the characters and made the story more enjoyable. The two male leads were well written and the steamy scenes provided plenty for the readers imagination.
Fans of quick reads with a plethora of steamy situations will enjoy this story.

A friend recommended this to me and after looking at it on Amazon, I spent the day thinking about it/debating about getting it. I was all set to 1-Click until I saw the length...76 pages (according to GR and Amazon)...and I knew right then that I'd have issues.
No matter how good the blurb (and this one is scortchingly good), when the books are that short, I always end up disappointed. So every time I decided I was going to get it, I talked myself out of it. Until I gave in and 1-Clicked.
This book was hot. Amazingly so. It was also funny. I liked the characters. There was amazing chemistry and swear to god, my kindle was steaming. The author has great talent. But...(there's always a but)...I wish the book were longer.
I couldn't help but feel like the ending was too easy. There wasn't enough interaction between any of the characters for me to even believe the "I love you's" exchanged between any of the characters. And the twists...if the book were longer, they could have been amazing. But I was left feeling like things didn't quite fit, things were missing. And that makes me sad because this book had so much potential to be a fantastic read.
It was still hot & steamy and a quick read. And it had some laughs. But it could have been great. I loved how Katie and Gabe met. I loved how the whole beginning went down. I loved the reactions when the met again at her mom's house. I even loved the "family" dinner (although I'm still not sure why his friend was at that first dinner, there wasn't a good explanation for his presence at that one). I even liked that Katie tried to move on with his friend since she couldn't have Gabe. I loved that Gabe went all alpha when he found out about Katie dating his friend. But after that...that's where it all started to fall apart. Gabe invited her for dinner, explained things and dropped a few bombshells on her and then ILU and "The End"....and I was left with a sense of disappointment that there wasn't more to the whole thing.
I think the author could have something great if she ever decides to go back to this one and make it a full length book.

I FLOVE this book! Cora has written an amazing short story but it does not lack a thing! This book had me laughing at how desperate Katie was to loose her V-card to almost crying at how unfair it all seems. Cora has managed to evoke every emotion in these pages and i loved every second of it. Don't bother with your knickers ladies coz they will melt right off with how hot this is, you also might want to have a man handy or a 24 pack of batteries! Can't wait for more from this wonderful woman!!

If you're looking for a quick read, that's smutty. Then look no further. This is it. The epilogue actually made me laugh a little, but that's what these shorties are for. Fun.
If you LOVE campy taboo, this will probably be a 5-star read for you.

This short read from Ms chance which didn't disappoint at all had a few setbacks lifting off but it's LIVE with the new name, BANNED. Very apt considering it nearly was! If you've read a book that's been a bit too heavy on the heart and emotions, this is for you. Light-hearted and sexy, I found myself grinning a couple of times.
Katie is the female protagonist and I found her inner thoughts quite comical. To say she's desperate to give up her V card would be putting it lightly. The girl's a walking hormonal mess and I felt her frustration. I'm laughing out loud while writing this last sentence! Katie and her friends attend a strip show and it is there she's drawn to one of the strippers. Gabe's equally drawn to her when she's included into his act. He takes her out the back and they share a bit of an encounter, but Katie feels a tad short-changed!
There's a strange turn of events when Katie's mother asks her to come for dinner to meet her new husband to be. Katie is gobsmacked to learn it's none other than . . . guess who? Can't possibly tell but I bet you've got a good idea! In fact, I felt quite embarrassed for poor lass! She spends most of the time squirming in her seat. The guest's reaction to Katie is somewhat confusing considering he's supposed to be marrying her mother. Katie doesn't seem to have a great relationship with her either and at the best of times, it's quite volatile. There's also another hot guy known as Jesse. I was certainly spoilt for choice with the male hotness!

"Katie, this is Gabe your new daddy."
More to the story than meets the eye; there is, but you'll have to read it for yourselves to see what happens. I was totally invested in the characters throughout since the author did a really good job capturing the reader's interest and imagination in such a short read. The twist gave me such a surprise as I didn't see it coming, too. And I would even go as far as to say that it wouldn't be a bad idea attaching a public warning to be the synopsis! Why? Well, it certainly is a sizzling read and you may be in need of a cold shower! It has light BDSM elements to it and very hot scenes along with insta love.
I haven't stopped thinking about this book all day. The author has a genius mind and by offering such a tale, she kept me thinking what surprise I would find around the corner. Let me reassure you that there's no cheating whatsoever. It isn't what I imagined it to be from the title or the synopsis at all. Bravo Ms Chance!

I took a chance on this book even though I was a little worried in the beginning. But there is a reason amazon banned this book because it is H O T!!!!
I really enjoyed this book. There are a lot of surprises I didn’t see coming. Katie is a very likable character and I also adored Gabe. There is also a surprise in the mix I didn’t see coming, but let me tell you it was a wonderful surprise. This book is down right filthy fun from start to finish. The only thing I wish is that it would have been a bit longer and we could have gotten to see a bit more, but overall I devoured it in one sitting.

I loved this book by Cara Chance!! Once I started reading, I couldnt put it down! I can't wait to read more by this author in the future!! Chance is quickly becoming one of my go to authors!

I have to be honest and say I was a little concerned about this book based on the title. Let me say don't judge it like I did because this little book is a bit taboo but not in the way you think it is. This book has no cheating and no lines overdrawn.
We start by meeting Katie a 21 year old virgin out with her friends for a girls night out. She is swooped up by one of the sexy male dancers and sparks fly but things get interrupted by an unexpected emergency. The next day Katie meets this same man and is introduced to him as her mother's new fiance. Confused and upset Katie dies not know what to think!! Gabe is totally infatuated with Katie and the sparks are high and they find it difficult to stay away from each other. Josh a friend of Gabe's is introduced at a family dinner to Katie and they go on a few dates but she still has confused feeling towards Gabe.
The story unfolds truths are told and this book is full of hot steamy scenes it is a quick read and the ending was something I was not expecting. I truly loved the story and I can not wait for what comes next from this Author. Cara has come in like a ninja and is making her way through this author world with a great story and great writing!!

I absolutely LOVED this book it's my first read from Cara and it certainly won't be my last , the book is written perfectly and has everything from Humor to emotion to downright hot and dirty oh yes ladies this is one EXTREMLEY hot book .

This short hot read filled with twists and turns will capture your interest and not let it go til you turn the last page. Loved the chemistry between Gage and Katie they pretty much set the book on fire even during the non sexy parts of the book. This is a true example of never judge a book as the twists in this book was so not what i was thinking would happen. My only criticism is that i wish the book had been longer. Would have really loved to seen more of the relationship between all parties.

'Banned' was wery well written, and easy to follow along with. I found myself not wanting to put it down, wanting to finish it, while at the same time not wanting it to end.
I didn't even put it down for my coffee.... and I FLOVE my coffee, so that's saying something.
This book is great if your looking for a steamy, slightly taboo story featuring a hot, alpha male.

Freedom to Publish is the Opposite of Banned! Glad Banned was Published.
Cara Chance fought to get this book published and I for one am so glad she won. What a deftly written book with an edgy plot turn. Brilliant plot and I am a really big fan of hers not only for her writing an awesome book but as a fighter of her dream.

If you are looking for a quick hot read then this one is perfect. There isn't a whole lot as far as backstory goes but the steamy factor is high and the characters are enjoyable. Warning it does deal with a taboo topic and is explicit so if that isn't your thing you might want to skip it.

This was the second book by this author, she didn't dissapoint. Scorching hot scenes with a believable plot. Can't wait to read more of this authors books.

I'm not entirely sure what I just read...
So, I won this book for free in exchange for leaving an honest review. Here is my very confused review.
I knew upfront that this story involved a stepfather for taboo, but now I really, really wish that I had read the reviews for this book beforehand. Because I'm still not sure what on earth I just read.
This book is super short. It ended at the 62% mark, and is not really a full story. It felt really really rushed. Not only that, but I felt as though there was no plot, just lots of hot sex. There was nothing wrong with the hot sex until the very end, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
The only thing I really liked about this story was that it made me laugh. A lot. Especially at the beginning. And the end. The problem with this is that I don't think the author intended this story to be funny later on, only at the beginning as the heroine's misadventures were enumerated. But the situations that developed, the twists that happened in this story were ridiculous, all too convenient, and some would say campy. I'd almost say unrealistic. And because of this, I laughed a lot. All I could think while reading this was: wait a second, did that seriously just happen?
Part of the problem is that none of the characters are developed at all. Katie is a virgin who seems a little spoiled and hates her mom, and REALLY wants to lose her virginity. And then she has instalove hardcore with Gabe, who's soon to be her stepdad. It gets awkward, and neither one can restrain themselves. And then Jesse steps into the picture, who is a very, very good friend of Gabe, who adds more levels of awkward to this story. I didn't really like any of the characters in this story to be honest.
Finally, I need to address the taboo subject here. Yes, this is a stepdad romance. But there's more. It's at this point at the very end as the HEA comes that suddenly, we have surprise MFM and MMF sex! It was not expected, and had I known there was going to be MMF, I probably wouldn't have read it. The MFM was steamy and great, like the read of the smut at least. And most of the the book is smut, so if you're looking for that, you're set. I just want to pass that on to others curious about this book so that you are prepared.
Overall, if you like hardcore instalove (it seemed like they never spoke) and lots of smut, then this quick read is for you. If you like taboo romance, you'll probably like it as well because of the odd twists and turns. For me, I was just confused and laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. I've read another story by Cara, and enjoyed that a lot. Not so much this one.

If you're looking for a quick and easy smuttybook fix, with scorching sex scenes and a plot that you don't need to engage your brain to solve, then this read is for you.
I enjoyed the humour & the bones of the story held strong promise.
I would've loved a tiny bit more depth to the story than we got (and I'm not talking War & Peace intellectual depth level), as I found the chemistry between the characters engaging and felt like there could've been more there to enjoy.
Also, for me, the ending just seemed appear - bam.
