Deceit is a dangerous game
What's there not to like in these series. There is a combination of deceit leading to unforgiving crimes, greed motivates most of the violent acts, but there are also misconceptions about life, death, unplanned pregnancies, misguided believes within the police department. What a mix! No wonder it was hard to put the book down. Mystery, deadly deeds, violence, but there is also love, passion and compassion. The only part I didn't like is that one particular crime involving a police superintendent, seemed to be mistaken as a suicide and the guilty parties seem to be free to enjoy their lives. Maybe it will be solved in another book?

Five books in one big box - lots of reading time and enjoyment. The stories are - more or less loosely - connected to a big hospital in Sydney, the protagonists are nurses, doctors, their friends who often are with the police, and their families.
Five stories where the protagonists, before the can even think of a possible happy ending, have to overcome murder, theft, and lots of other obstacles (sometimes they are their own obstacles).
Some stories and characters seem more realistic than others, some seem really far-fetched, but overall, reading these stories was enjoyable and gave many hours of reading pleasure.

gross explicit sexual abuse etc
I actually like well written interesting hospital dramas with a little sweet romance mixed in.
This first book, of which I read but a few pages, was all about domestic violence in front of children and abusive sexual violence in private. Who wants to read that.
And the language was foul.
Really why write this smut and violence.
Lots of potential triggers here, and that’s just the beginning of the first book in this set.
Very disappointing indeed.

Suspense Intrigue Romance. Who knew a Hospital Was So Sexy
Five stories filed with suspense danger and mystery. Each one has its set of characters but also brings back some from the earlier ones as well. Warning if hot scenes bother you you might be careful otherwise full steam ahead.

I couldn't give this 5 stars because of one book. The Final Bullet showed a total lack of professionalism from the heroine... and as far as most professionals with any type of integrity would tell you should have been blackballed and thrown out with license revocation.
The other stories were very well done and well thought through.

Great series
Each of these stories have a lot of action,suspense,danger,and a little romance thrown in keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next keeps you on the edge of your seat.hats off to this author looking forward to reading more books from her.

Compelling Stories
Each one of these stories tackled a different social problem that gave me pause for thought. Both sides of the issue were presented, making me more aware of the topic. The fact that each story had a lovely romance made this series a delight to read.

Couldn't stop reading
These stories grabbed hold of the reader and wouldn't let go. They kept your interest for all five books and didn't bore. Definitely worth reading!

I read this last year so can’t fully remember the story, but I did have to force myself to finish it, and I couldn’t persuade myself to read much of the next book... so not a hit with me
