Covering all facets of French grammar--from prepositions and pronouns to verbal forms and tenses-- French Grammar Drills helps you learn often-perplexing topics with fun and engaging exercises. This comprehensive book
"Grammar Drills" is a good choice for those beginning their French studies, as it provides a solid basis for French grammar. It features plenty of exercises (with answers) plus online quizzes on the Language Lab app. All around, it was easy to follow through, with subjects divided through main sections, which are well developed. It is remarkably straightforward.
As of this moment, I expect to push myself further and advance to the subsequent level of expertise— albeit being nonetheless an intermediate learner. That conveys I intend on delving into demanding sources for acquiring proficiency. I am continuously overjoyed to peruse new textbooks on the French language, as it encourages diverse approaches to enrich my understanding with distinguishable and scholarly authors.
I gave this four stars instead of five because I didn't actually do the exercises, so I can't fully attest to its complete help. However, I found it a great review for the French I had learned long ago and forgotten. Things seemed very clearly stated (even better than when I originally learned) and well organized. Definitely worth picking up!
As a set of quasi-repetitive drills, I found this exercise book hit the right mark as it is both useful and an aide de memoire. It also moves from basic concepts to intermediate, so is useful for the quasi-advanced learner to continue challenging oneself while reinforcing the basic concepts. The series is really good.
