Why on earth would you read in German?
Even Mark Twain said, “When a German dives into a sentence, you won’t see him again until he emerges at the other end with the verb between his teeth.” So, isn’t reading German just frustrating and tiring, making you want to rip the pages out of the book?! Well, it doesn’t have to be. This is where books like the Einfach Deutsch lesen series come in, which prove that reading can boost your language knowledge and be enjoyable at the same time.
What is our motto?
Plot and characters always come first. Offering stories the room they need to evolve is paramount to creating depth and to breathing life into the characters.
Vocabulary and grammar are then adapted to the level indicated on the book cover. These levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

I could not put it down! I underestimated this book, it turned out to be a very interesting detective-ish story with unexpected turns and events and it was very interesting to read. The level of German is perfect for A2-B1 level, you can understand pretty much everything but you still learn new words in every chapter. I also loved the exercises that are provided on the author's website, they were actually quite challenging and contained a lot of grammar, which was very useful. So yeah, definitely 5 stars! This is what I call 'learn German and have fun'. Have already purchased the next book :)

C'était très bien ! Bien plus accessible que je ne le craignais. J'ai passé un vrai bon moment à écouter les aventures de Juni et Victoria, et la voix d'Angelika Bohn est très agréable. C'était juste la bonne durée pour écouter de l'allemand sans s'ennuyer. Je recommande vraiment !

This is the fourth of Bohn's books through which I have slowly worked my way. It took a long time because I specifically intended to use this as an exercise to learn to type on an English language keyboard, but with access to German special characters by using a German keyboard layout.
I took a few pages a day to transcribe and then translate the text to English. Tedious? Yes. Effective? Definitely. And that effectiveness extended across an uptake of grammar, vocabulary and typing speed.
By the last few chapters of the book I was able to type with a German keyboard layout at just about the same speed as I can in English. Faster transcription typing reduced the tediousity quotient considerably.
The story is nicht hochdeutsche Literatur, but it's engaging enough. The purpose of learning to read basic German is well served by Bohn's series of publications.
This is accurately aimed at A2/B1, but with the proviso that the level of difficulty seemed to slowly increase towards the end of the book. I found that advantageous both to sustain engagement and for a steady accumulation of vocabulary and insights to German grammar.

Great book!
Great book for English speakers who have the rudiments of German!
This is not just a learning book, it is a fun book! Angelika Bohn has written an engaging and light mystery; I wanted to keep reading not just to learn German but because I wanted to see what was going to happen next.
Many of the words she introduces are translated in an index at the end of each chapter, easily accessible by tapping on the word. Then she smoothly repeats them later in the book - you get learning-by-repetition almost without realizing it.
Also, she uses lots of crossover words, English words ("teenager") that have been adopted into German. The idea seems to be to keep you moving through the text as smoothly as possible without forcing you to look up words in every sentence.
Loved it and plan to get more of her books.

Great literature, and great for learning
In my quest to learn German I have read almost a dozen books this year. This was my favorite so far. The story was engaging, easy-to-follow, and well written. The pacing of introducing new vocabulary words was spot on. Highly recommended. My German teacher told me that there's no better way to learn a language than pleasure reading, so I look forward to reading more books like these.

Light reading for practice and fun.
Finding a source for foreign language reading is not a simple task.
We need a reasonable story, vocabulary, translation feature ,and useful daily episodes.
I think this book has all these properties and I recommend it.
Now I have to buy the next book of the same author..

Feck it, it counts! ;) A good start to my reading in German adventure. The book is funny and the story is interesting. A much better read than other books ‘for intermediate German students’. It gives you a vibe of a mystery novel for teenagers.

Good story, but...
Nice story but a little confusing, full of comings and goings. Nice to practice German reading skills. I would recommend for A2 students.

Great book for internediate german learner!!!
It is fun and written with a lot of vocabulary, but simple sentence structures. One of the few German books I've finished!

This is the first German book I’ve read that was written for German learners that was actually good from a literary standpoint. Alternately funny, mysterious, and surprisingly insightful, I really enjoyed the ride as well as the language.

Ich finde Falsche Adresse ist ein großartiges Buch zum Deutschlernen. Ein Grund dafür ist die Übersetzung und Auflistung möglicherweise unbekannter Wörter, um das Verstehen zu erleichtern. Außerdem bietet das Buch verschiedene Möglichkeiten, Grammatik zu lernen, was auch den Deutschlernern hilft.

It's good for people who are learning german because many words are written in english at the end of the chapter (+1), but the story is quite lame and lacks uniqe elements.

Es war ein gutes Buch, und nicht zu schwierig zu lesen. Ich würde, für ein Deutschlerner, es empfehlen, um lesen zu üben. Ich habe gefühlt,dass es mein Lesen verbessert hat.

Like all of Angelika Bohn’s Einfach Deutsch-Trainer books, this delivers a cooky story with wonderfully thought-out characters and implausible twists and turns. I enjoyed this read but was a bit disappointed with the ending. It was a little to “happily ever after” even for Bohn. Still, it was a fun read that also helped teach new vocabulary and phrases.
