This new series follows twenty-four years after the Romeo Alpha Series.
When the memory of Brody is erased from Sarina's mind, he has to win her love all over again.
***Due to sexually graphic content and language that some may find offensive, this book is intended for mature readers only***
Twenty-four years have passed in relative peace for Amanda and Romeo. They’ve raised five children into adulthood and are thoroughly enjoying their lives as the Alpha King and Queen of the werewolves.
At twenty-four, Sarina is just stepping into her powers and will be ripe for mating when her birthday comes in two weeks. Her brothers are fiercely protective and Sarina doesn’t have an issue with reminding them that she can take care of herself. What no one knows is the danger that lurks just outside their tight knit community. With Dean and Lilith dead, Romeo made peace with the other clans and has enjoyed that peace, but it will all come crashing down around him when his oldest daughter comes of age to take a mate.
Fenris, his ages old ancestor, might have been infected by Lilith to create the werewolves, but that didn’t stop him from spreading his seed far and wide. During his time, he took multiple lovers and has clans that don’t bow to Romeo as their Alpha.
Darla has been interested in paranormal romance since she was a teenager in high school. It was then that she discovered she could fulfill her fantasies through her writing.
Observing people and human behavior in the area of romance has always been one of her favorite pastimes. Combining that with an overactive imagination is a sure fire way of coming up with interesting themes.
It was a really interesting plot twist. I had to back read it to understand some of the conversations. The fluidity, it was quite confusing. The way the time line were done was a bit too much. However, it did not stop the over all effect of the book. It just made it complicated. I would love to read the next book. Will it be another sibling? or will still focus on Brody and Sarina? And the twins that she is carrying? will they have the same father? or different?
So far that those are still the thoughts that are running my mind as i write this. I still got confuse with the rest of the narration. I hope that i will not feel the same way with book 2.
Blood Lines ( Romeo Alpha Blood Lines Romance Series Book
I give this series Five Stars because it was so romantic and kind of kept you on your toes about what would next, I enjoyed the suspense and love the characters.
Different read from what I am used to, I normally read vampire books. So very glad I took a chance on this book. Non-stop excitement and action with many twists and turns. Can't wait to read book 2 and see how it all turns out.
Interesting story and somewhat confusing characters! It was overall a good book. I would have been disappointed 😞with it if I would have purchased. Good thing I have k unlimited😁.
Blood Lines (Romeo Alpha Blood Lines Romance Series Book 1) By: Darla Dunbar 5 out of 5 stars
The story Blood Lines (Romeo Alpha Blood Lines Romance Series Book 1) by Darla Dunbar is a witch/wizard/wolf shifter romance book. Twenty-four years have passed for Amanda and Romeo. They have raised 5 children and enjoy their lives as Alpha King and Queen. When their oldest daughter, Sarina, turns twenty four she will be available for mating and to fully acquire her powers. Although Romeo has made peace with the other clans everything comes crashing down when an old enemy resurfaces with plans of his own.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It has a great storyline and with the exception of “the bad guys” you come to love the characters. Although with some being called a bad guy may not be as black and white as it seems. The story of Sarina and her becoming of age of changing into a wolf and gaining other powers of her own is exciting. She and her family disagree about some aspects of her life however they also banter back and forth with ease which shows how close this family is.
Love stories with paranormal creatures and steamy romance? Then I would suggest this book to you. I would suggest this story for a mature audience for adult situations and some violence. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Memories are a funny thing. In this case when memories are messed with you have to wonder what was changed. Love and mating, intrigue and deception. An unknown history and an unknown enemy threaten everything they know. Sarina and Brody share something special but there is a lot going on with a couple of unexpected twist that keep you wondering just where this story is going. There are lots of characters to watch and more players than have truly been introduced. A page turner that I couldn't put down til the last page was finished.
I was quite intrigued when I started this story but a little over half way through I started losing interest and by the end, I really wasn't interested in reading book 2 which is the story continuation. Thinking about the reason for this, for me, I believe I was missing more depth and details of the characters...I never fully got lost in the story. If you're looking for a simple, fairly quick read, don't pass this one over.
I got a little confused during the first time line But once I figured it out everything was peaches and cream again. Did not take away from the overall feel of the book.
the book was interesting. we meet a young woman how is coming into her first heat. we also meet a man who is looking to break from his pack. when they meet they realize they are mates. can things be that simple. will there be backlash. what will happen next.
