This is my third reread of this book that I have loved from my high school days! I still enjoy it because of the richness of the vocabulary and the plot that has all the stereotypical good guy and bad guy vibe. The romance portion of the book was not overwhelming.
A very well written Jamaican novel that takes me back in time to old time rural Jamaican way of life!
