This is one of those stories where you just want to scream at the characters "just talk to each other!!". The main conflict was so quickly overcome. Even though it took years for them to see each other again it only took them one evening and a couple of pages to get back together. And the conflict itself was a little out there, there was no reason for Lara to not tell Anna what was going on.

I can't. I can't do this.
It used it, the fire, as a fucking plot device. Having been through that it fucking angers me and makes me feel sick.
