Jessie is a sweet, independent, single woman but she's never forgotten the one who got away, nearly 15 years ago. She spent years trying to get over him. He may have abandoned her long ago, but he never quite left her heart.
It's been nearly 15 years since Jake left behind his dysfunctional family, the only home he ever knew, and the only person who ever made him feel his worth. He was trying to save himself and, more importantly, His Jessica.
A night out with her bestie is just what Jessie needs, until she sees him. Now her whole world is turned upside down once again.
He's back in town for his only sister's wedding, and maybe, he's hoping for one last shot with the one girl who made a mark on his heart
m.m. clem lives in a small town, in the heart of Indiana, with her husband, three kids, and her big black dog, Leela. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, photography, sleeping, and watching her daughter dance. When she’s not busy writing or reading, you can find her chauffeuring her kids to band practices and competitions, club meetings, dance practice and dance competitions, or fiddling around on social media. She loves her Netflix, country music, anything sweet to eat, and iced tea. Sarcasm is her second language.
This book was recommended by a friend, and very thankful it was recommended to me. The story line of the characters kept my attention and wanted to know about their past together and what was happening now between them. The only time I put the book down was when I finished it! I recommend this book to anyone! Seriously one of my favorites!!!! I can't wait to read more from the author!!!!
Jake and Jess will make you believe in true love. I really enjoyed this book from the short previews until M.M. Clem finished. Thank you for the opportunity to read and fall in love with this book. #teamEcho
Jessie and Jake will steal your heart in this second-chance romance. Great blend of humor and anguish with side characters that will make you want to read more. Perfect for a rainy day.
Narrated by Olivia Theo and Doninic . Olivia the nut and it seems Hydrangea allergist, owns her own nut free bakery next to her now best friend Veronica’s flower shop. On the night Theo proposes his best friend Nico or as Olivia knew him on a one night stand two years ago Dominic!? There’s more surprises to come and somehow an happy ending but for who? Read and find out. Great romance read with great descriptions.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This Time was an okay read for me. It took me forever to finish due to the awkward dialogue, and the sophomoric tone. This book definitely had good bones, but it could have used more development overall. I think I'd like to check out book two anyway.
Delightful and straightforward second chance romance between former teen sweethearts who have been separated for fifteen years. No major drama, no other man/other woman interference. Just swoony goodness with plenty of sexual tension.
This Is the first time I have read anything by M.m. Clem and I have no idea why I waited so long. The character development was amazing and the time line transitions were seamless.
This Time is MM Clem's debut novel. It's a light second-chance romance that has a general feel-good and heartwarming theme. It has moments filled with humor but also has a good amount of drama. The story definitely could've delved deeper but it's a good start. Overall, it was an okay read for me. This Time was a story with potential and I hope to see Miss MM Clem and her stories develop further in the future.
