Denim Days #2

The Summer We Stumbled

Rate this book
Back in the Northwoods. Back where it all began.

Last summer, Mel fell hard for Duncan. This summer, she’s hoping to see if what they found under the Northwoods stars can survive the miles—and months—apart.

But when Duncan arrives with a surprise guest—a female friend from Florida—Mel’s heart takes a plunge into water colder than any Northwoods lake. As old feelings clash with new realities, their easy summer rhythm is thrown off balance.

Once again, Mel and Duncan must face the question that’s followed them since last summer: are they destined to be just friends, or can they stumble their way toward something real—and lasting—before summer fades away?

The Summer We Stumbled is the second book in the Denim Days series.

Say what?????? No spoilers here, but while I still love this rich setting and the characters that have moved into my heart, I can only hope book #3 will see a happy ending for Mel and Duncan. Cannot wait for it to come out.

I really liked it. I got the first book off Amazon, last September on a Stuff your Kindle day, and I really liked that too!
Sadly its really short, it could be longer, so -1 for that

Another quick and fun read! This one was better than the first? I still don't like the alternating perspectives, but in this series case, it's tolerable because I like the plot of the story.

Book 2

It was a great book. It was easy reading and moved along nicely. I felt like I was with Mel and Duncan thru the whole book. Would highly recommend it.
