This is a great book in a great series of books. My Kindergartener and I are exploring dirt and how vital it is to our world. This book definitely has a lot of information to share. We do one or two sections a day. Any more than that and there would be too much to try to absorb in one day.

Learned more about dirt from this book than I really cared to know. Good primer about the function of dirt (soil).

Not only do I love this series, but this book really hit it out of the park for me as an adult. I learned quite a bit and will never look at dirt the same way!
