In amazing detail, the author recounts specific pivotal events in his life that led him at a young age to the realization that he was being watched over by a "higher being" - and that he was being guided by this same individual, which the author refers to as his "Spirit Guide." Through his guide, he gains insight into his own life, plus the lives of those around him via dreams that occur during the day, as well as at night. The author describes his struggle in trying to deal with the prophetic side of his dreams. Often skeptical of what he observes in these vision-like sessions, the author battles his conscience in trying to decide whether he might be able to use these gifts to help others, or whether he might be better off keeping these dreams to himself - the latter being the case most of the time. The book ends with a scary and disturbing accounting of one of the most tragic events in modern American history - the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 - seen in a vision more than a decade earlier, and published a year before the actual attack.

This book and Author's authenticity, honesty, and experiences have the ability to help many people who often suffer in silence with their 'ability' as a 'see-er'. I have personally met and have children who also are 'see-ers' - so the things the author talks about aren't anything new to me. In fact, this book has inspired me to share my own stories and experiences and for that, I am most grateful! Some will see their 'gift' as a Dreaming prophet as a curse, when in actuality, it is a blessing - it's only when we let the visions flow more naturally instead of fighting them that we see the positive in what is being told to us by our deceased loved ones, and/or Spirit Guides. These messages are intentional (and powerful) and are meant for the intended recipient to act as a catalyst for these messages to be 'conveyed' to loved ones or society. Pay attention to people who have this ability. Often times, it takes a lot for someone to speak of these things for fear of being shunned or ridiculed, especially if they had an upbringing where family wasn't as understanding or open on these subjects. The reality is, these human 'messengers' are pure of heart and soul and they are delivering you something that is equally as pure. Believe them. This is exactly why I have been as open and receptive as I have with my own children because while I was learning, this wasn't something that was talked about in my family. It wasn't until I was a mother myself that my visions and messages became accepted by my own little family as they had them just as frequently.

Society today has become more accepting of 'gifted' people like Mr. Segarra and I tip my hat to any individual who has the courage to write a story this powerful. Well done!

This book was written in a no nonsense way that I really enjoyed. Most people come down hard on one side or the other about whether they believe in - messages from beyond, spirits, visions, etc. or not. The author (Robert Segarra) doesn't try to convince you of anything; he just presents his experiences and allows you to come to your own conclusions. I felt bad that his childhood was so tortured and appreciated his courage in telling his story of 'Temporary Angels'.
