A really good overview of the various health issues that attach to tobacco use.

Most people are very surprised to learn how much less risky smokeless tobacco is, when compared to cigarettes. Rodu makes the case that smokers who have tried to quit, and cannot, should strongly consider switching to smokeless tobacco.

In essence, if they switch from cigarettes to smokeless they stand to gain 99% of the benefits derived from quitting.

The book is really an eye opener. It clearifies many myths. Nicotine in only addictive ands it’s tar and epoxides in smoke that’s real cause of cancer. Many other diseases are attributed to smoke of tobacco. Glad this book make tobacco harm related facts clear. Thank You for this wonderful job of spreading awareness on harm reduction theory.
Smokeless tobacco is 99% safer than smoking but still in India the Heath warnings on Cigarettes and Smokeless tobacco is same. In India surprisingly tax rates on smokeless tobacco are much higher than smoking tobacco. Hope This harm reduction theory reaches policy makers properly.
