Hidden Truth: A Seaside Murder

Rate this book
For the last half century, seaside residents of Onset Village have tried to forget the murder of the beautiful twenty-five year old tourist who came to bathe by the sea and dance at the Casino Ballroom. But after the trial and surprising acquittal of one of their own, they wonder if the killer still lives among them. When broadcast journalist, Samantha Scott, purchases the Victorian cottage on South Boulevard, she finds herself in the middle of the cold case with enough evidence to solve the almost perfect murder.

Nice quick read. It felt like it could be a true story. Interesting investigative news story. I liked the loose ends being tied by the end.

Loved this book. Easy read. The detail of the town makes me want to visit. The descriptions of all of the characters is so well written, I felt like I knew them. I love a mystery, and Carol kept my interest all the way through...right up to the last line of the last page. WOW.
