Love at first sight? What a load of crap.

At least that’s what I always thought, right up until my eyes landed on him.

Joshua Baxter. My irresistibly hot, totally off-limits, almost twice my age professor.

If we give in, it could ruin both our lives.

But how can I resist him when every one of my senses wants me to surrender?

** Touch & Taste is a steamy romance novella with no cheating and a happy ending. Each book in the Love at First Sight series can be read on its own. 18+ **

I'm really torn about this book. The sex scenes were hot as hell, but the storyline ..... meh. I've never been a total fan of teacher/professor and student relationships books (though their have been some notable exceptions) so I might be a tad biased here. I liked the chemistry between Brooke and Joshua - it was fantastic, though I do think that the ending was kind of rushed (though it is a novella) and there really wasn't much development in their relationship. They have fantastic scenes, but I finished the book knowing practically nothing about either of them.... Also, the secondary characters.... They, along with other things in the book, definitely could have been more flushed out and well-rounded.

Great start to this series!!!

I'm blown away by how much I really loved this short story! I thought here is another older man/younger woman, professor/student short story. And, yes, it was that, but I liked how the story flowed and how there was drama and a little angst with all my favorites of insta-love, alpha male, no cheating, along with the others mentioned above. Not to mention that all of her stuff is on KU ****bonus!!!****

“You’re it for me, girl. Maybe I’m lying to myself in thinking you feel the same, but I’m pretty damn sure you do. So, yeah. First, last, only—pick one. They’ll all apply.”

I absolutely loved this novella. It was so much better than I was expecting and I’m going to be reading the rest of the series. It has everything I love: an OTT hero, OM/YW, Teacher/Student romance. Not only is it sweet and romantic but it’s steamy as hell too. A perfect read.

This is the first book in the Love At First Sight series by Mia Madison. I've read five of her books and they've all been winners so I'm hoping she keeps it up because she's on a roll. Brooke is in her last semester of her last year of college and excited to be almost finished. When she gets to her first class and meets Professor Joshua Baxter she is immediately attracted to him. Joshua is 39 years old and he's never once felt anything sexual towards a student until he meets Brooke. This was such a wonderful story of taboo love between a professor and his student and how they tried to keep their affair a secret.

This is the story of Brooke and Joshua. When Brooke slips on the snow on the first day back at school, she never dreamt that the driver of the Mercedes which stopped next to her; belonged to her new sexy Professor. There is an instant chemistry between these two, which they both knew was wrong! You really need to read this book for yourself, you will regret it if you miss out on this great book.
This is a quick and steamy read, and Mia had me hooked from the very beginning. I recommend Mia’s work for all.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Professor. "Older man" appeal.

17 years her senior, 39 to her 22.

The whole "taboo" aspect, sneaking around, freak in the sheets.

Rubbish execution. They don't get caught, they haven't told her parents, she has no direction in her life with her degree. Different life stages?

Then he proposes.

Lol.

Wow! I don't typically go for older men/younger women stories, but this one was flippin awesome!

Mia Madison is quickly becoming my favorite go to author for short erotic reads.

If you like Alexa Riley's books, then I suggest you check out Ms. Madison.

I really like this series so I was happy to finally have time to read book one. Yes I know, I started with book two and three a while back, shock horror! I really liked Brooke and Joshua as a couple, their chemistry was undeniable. I liked that Joshua was willing to do the right thing and wait for her.
I really liked Finley in her book (book two) but in this one i wanted to slap her. I wanted to shout at her to keep her nose at and let Brooke and Joshua get on with it! Don’t even get me started on Ben, I instantly disliked him!
I will admit that I really wanted Joshua’s point of view. I wanted to know how he was feeling and what he thought when he first saw Brooke.
I devoured this story in one sitting and I cannot wait for Mia’s next release. This story is fast paced and easy to get into.

Brooke doesn’t believe in love at first sight. She soon changes her mind when she meets her handsome professor. Brooke cannot help herself; she wants Joshua Baxter with all of her soul. When Joshua starts to give her lifts to school, the sexual tension builds between them. Joshua soon asks Brooke on a date and they soon start a secret relationship, but what happens when Brooke’s friends find out? Will Brooke get her happily ever after? Will Joshua get into trouble?

Nope….i normally enjoy (for the most part, sometimes the age gap is too much, she should lift the FC’s ages to like 25 in most of her books) but this one was just ick….barely any buildup to him making her suck his D in his school office…..she struggled with the taboo of their relationship and he didn’t at all which just gave me the ick factor. And the scene where she decided to end their relationship for a while and he just pulls her back on the bed and just slides in again…..sorry, but the whole book was yuck

STORY:
Brooke lives with her roomate. One day she slips when its heavy snowing and icy. And then theres this mercedes stoping.... And the guy who helped her up is secretly in love with her roomie.

My opinion:
The start was okay, but then it got lame. And surprise - the creepy mercedes guy, was her new professor. And he takes her everyday too college.
I didn`t like their love story and the story itself was so boring. Thought about not finishing it.

Good Series Starter

While this was a quick and dirty (for real :) ) novella, it was a good balance of heat, heart, and conflict. One of the better professor-student reads out there. Brooke isn't fully mature, but she's grounded and appropriately concerned about the attraction she has to Joshua, who's not above being a fool for the *right* young woman.

Read this first

This book should be read first because the characters are connected. So Finley is about to graduate and she falls for her professor cliche right. Well I liked the professor because he was looking out for her and have her the option to step away. They really complimented each other. The fact that Finley didn't back down with her friends really have me hope.

could have been more flushed out, and ended kind of abruptly

needed more relationship building than the little it provided

but still a fun, light, and quick read (short book)

maybe and epilogue would have helped

I absolutely loved this older man younger woman romance, falling in love with one of your college tutors is a big no-no and relationships are frowned upon but that does not stop Brooke and Joshua. Well written with plenty of steam and romance this is another great read by this writer

Instant lust/love between a student and her teacher.... frankly, i couldn't keep reading after the first sex scene. She is just a girl and he disgusted me. What a f*cking pervert.
