He’s everything she ever wanted … but is he hiding a terrible secret?
Social worker Traci MacMillan is determined to make the world a better place. Bad-boy billionaire Cole Mason pursues her after meeting her at a charity event, but she’s not interested. Traci has no idea that her beauty, effervescent charm, and kind-hearted nature make her irresistible to him.
When her job leads her into unexpected danger, Traci learns that Cole may have a dark side. The more she tries to push him away -- for both their sakes -- the closer he gets. Despite her efforts to guard her emotions, Traci finds herself falling for her persistent suitor.
As the danger escalates, Cole’s need to protect her deepens. Then a horrific deed comes to light, and it seems he’s responsible. Has Traci lost her heart only to have it broken?
The Billionaire’s Shadow is a full-length BWWM billionaire romance with no cheating and a happy ending.
This is a very good story. It is a well thought out plot and great characterization. It would have rated 5 stars, but half way through the book grammatical and editing errors tarnished the reading experience. I suggest that the author reread the book to correct the errors (mixup in some of the names and use of the wrong words.)
A good story. Liked the characters. Cole and Traci were a nice match. I kind of think she fell for his charm a bit too quickly, but with a stud like Cole, I guess I would too. Overall, very good. Caught some grammar /editing issues, but nothing really bad.
I enjoyed reading this book. I liked that there was some suspense and action. I was also relieved that this wasn't your typical BWWM billionaire romance novel. No surrogate or surprise pregnancy plot. I liked both Cole and Traci. She wasn't a pathetic, poor damsel in distress and he wasn't an annoying rich guy. They did "fall in love" a little too quickly for me but it wasn't all roses which I was glad. I did not see the ending coming. Great read and definite recommend.
I liked the idea of the story the plot and different aspects. But I hated Tracy's personality . I found myself wondering why she was such a Debbie downer and she didn't feel like a real leading lady she felt like a side kick. If a man was considerate the way hers was she should have been more flexible
The Billionaire's Shadow (A BWWM Romance) is a very good interracial romantic thriller that earned a rating of five stars. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading very good interracial romantic thrillers
There was too much back and forth with Traci. Her love for Cole was not true while he seemed to love her unconditionally. Maybe they should have spent more time getting to know each other.
