The cover alone makes me cry T_T

Yay, finally a new volume of this manga. It takes so long for these to come out, and I am just dying to read them.
Finally this arc ends. It was quite fun in the first one, the second was decent, but by now I just wanted it to be over and done. I can't really recall any other arc of them to take so long. Then again I do hope that this doesn't mean that with this arc ending that the manga is also ending. That would be a shame, especially with some stuff happening in this manga. Stuff that could easily be transformed into more chapters and volumes.
Like the fact that we meet up with Gene again! Yes, Gene. He is back, but only in a mirror, or reflecting surface! I was kind of pissed that everyone was saying that Naru was self-centred because he went back to the mirror all the time. Maybe if nobody had explained, but more than once it was explained why Naru did this, are they all dumb, or do they not want to see the truth?
And maybe it was meant as a joke, but I didn't think it was funny. He is finally reunited again with his brother, and you all act like this? No.
Finally the big monster is defeated, finally things may settle down for once in this house. After all the death, pain, and hurt is now settled, and I was delighted that this may mean people can live in this house again. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if people won't do that. Though there are always people who dismiss such things and just live in such a loaded house.
Mai also had her spotlight, and I loved what she did. She is so brave, such a difference from the first series.
Well, I can't wait for the next volume to pop up. I want a new arc, though I do hope it won't be as long as the arc in this one was.

Huhuhuhuuuu... Udah beli dari minggu lalu, tapi baru sempat dibaca sekarang. Tadinya pengen baca ulang jilid 1 dan 2-nya dulu, berhubung udah terlalu lama sejak terbitnya, tapi dicari-cari gak ketemu juga saya naruh di mana dua jilid pertamanya. Akhirnya karena gak tahan (?), baca aja deh jilid 3-nya dengan ingatan yang samar-samar tentang kasus The House of Nightmare ini.
Dari zaman dulu kala, seri Ghost Hunt memang jadi komik horor favorit si Gie!! Ini si Gie lho, yang jarang-jarang baca horor dan hampir-hampir menjauhi genre ini!! Dan The House of Nightmare ini jadi ajang buat nostalgia-nostalgiaan sama semua tokohnya!! Huhuuuuhuhuuu... Mengesampingkan kasusnya sendiri, si Gie udah bahagiaaaaa bangeeeet begitu ada kelanjutan Ghost Hunt.Akhirnya bisa CLBK-an sama Eugene~ <3
Suka. Suka. Pokoknya suka.
Tokoh-tokohnya gak ada yang OOC meski sudah 10 tahun lewat sejak seri Ghost Hunt berakhir. Hanya artwork-nya Shiho Inada saja yang jauuuuuh lebih berkembang. Naru jadi ganteng luar biasa dan Mai jadi manis. Sayang, karena hanya satu kasus, gak semua tokohnya sempat unjuk kekuatan. Bou-san yang jadi salah satu tokoh favorit saya aja cuma nunjukin satu mantra. John yang jadi salah satu tokoh favorit saya aja cuma mengeksorsis arwah satu kali. Untung Eugene ikutan muncul di akhir. Eugene juga salah satu tokoh favorit si Gie, favorit di antara favorit. (Jadi, tokoh favoritmu ada berapa sih, Gie???)
Mengesampingkan review orang-orang yang mengatakan bahwa ending kasus ini terlalu terburu-buru dan ketebak, saya merasa The House of Nightmare ini lebih kepada nostalgia seri Ghost Hunt yang lama. Begitulah. Jadi tetap menyenangkan bagi saya.
Padahal Fuyumi Ono juga bikin banyak cerita lain, termasuk "Shiki" yang bahkan sampai dijadikan anime, tapi belum ada yang bikin saya se-fangirling dengan Ghost Hunt ini--yang padahal sudah 10 tahun berlalu sejak cerita orisinalnya berakhir, tapi tetap memikat buat si Gie.
Begitu sudah mencapai halaman akhir, saya mau gak mau jadi dirundung rasa kesepian yang lebih-lebih. Mungkin karena saya merasa mesti berpisah dengan Ghost Hunt untuk kedua kalinya (yang pertama dengan seri orisinalnya). Rasa kesepiannya jadi dobel deh. Sedih. Hiks.
Meskipun ini harapan yang hampir nol, saya berharap Fuyumi Ono bersedia melanjutkan kisah Ghost Hunt lagi dengan berkonsentrasi pada pemecahan misteri kematian Eugene.
Terus, saya jadi mau berburu komik bekas Ghost Hunt edisi lama yang terbitan Elex 10 tahunan yang lalu.Tapi karena udah gak tahan, saya baca mangascan-nya aja dulu deh.

I don't get why it took m&c! comics years to release the Bahasa Indonesia translation for such a lame third and final volume. Mengecewakan sekali membaca ending yang bertele-tele dan berputar-putar seperti ini. Tentu saja, content yang membosankan sama sekali di luar kuasa penerbit terjemahan, I know that.

Superb! I really love the plot and the mystery. So mind twisting. Though everytime I read this I'm feeling annoyed with Hirota Seigi. But nevertheless the manga is great. Finally the twins reunited. The scene with the two brought me into tears.

Ghost hunt is always interesting. Aside from the fact that i like Naru, the story is really good and makes me shiver. Great mystery
