SeQuence Aligned

Rate this book
Alessia and Dante’s love has blossomed. Their Sequence of Hearts is sturdier than ever, but the shield that protects Tuscania is weakening and an invasion is imminent. Everyone knows Alessia's new-found power is the key--especially Alessia. Unfortunately, the energy inside her is unstable and expediting her training could have devastating consequences. But that's exactly what must be done.

Whisked away to a secluded training facility, Alessia is forced to put aside all distractions, including Dante, to fully focus on the Sequence of Peace.

But power always comes at a price. When Dante falls deathly ill, Alessia abandons her training to go to him, but she never makes it. Instead, she's kidnapped and dragged outside the shield where she's more helpless than she was back on Earth. As the captive of a vengeful madman, Alessia has only her wits and her will to save herself and the world she's come to cherish.

Thanks to the author for providing an ARC for me in exchange for an honest review, This doesn't affect my thoughts on it in any way.

Just when I thought this series couldn't get any better, it did. I absolutely loved book 1 and SeQuence aligned has made me love this series even more. The continuation of this phenomenal series has us back in this magical world with Alessia learning to improve her powers and her relationship with Dante stronger than ever. But as always, everything is not always 100% good. Trials, challenges and problems rise up against our heroes and them manoeuvering this obstacles is one of the reasons this will always be one of my favourite series. I commend the author for her great writing style which draws the reader in and pleases them. This is one series all YA Fantasy lovers have to get, It has just about everything they'd love. Filled with magic, romance, action, a great plot and awesome characters, SeQuence Aligned will be one of your favorite reads this year.

I'd like to start by thanking Lorraine for the free copy of this book.
Now let's get on the review:
You know how people say that second parts tend to ruin the first one? Well, let me introduce you to the exception. This is a gem! Even though I kept repeating things like "this book is killing me" or "this book will be my undoing" I loved it with every bit of my heart. I have no words to describe how beautiful this book is. It kills you internally, this book will hit you pretty hard in the feels, but this book, this series, is REALLY worth the reading.
Faithfully to her style, she grabbed every cliche ever created, placed them in a bag and destroyed every one of them for the sake of the plot and I think that it deserves a recognition. I highly recommend this because it keeps getting better (and addictive).

I received a free copy for an honest review. Oh my goodness. Just when you think you know what's coming, something else swoops in and knocks you down. The love Alessia and Dante have for each other continues to create flames and it warms my heart. So many twists and turns in this book. I loved every minute of it. The world that is created continues to capture all attention and begs for you to remain there. I'd encourage anyone to read this series.

I really enjoyed book one in this series but this book surpasses that. The beginning was a little slow, but is necessary to bring the reader into understanding the world that the author has created. Alessi, the main character grows in this book and I think becomes more of an enjoyable person to read about. She gets to understand her magic a little better and even when she is unsure after being taken from the shield that protects her magic, fights to get herself out of danger. She meets new friends and we see how powerful the pull of friendship can be and how easy it can become to trust another person. I liked the action that was written into this book and the way Dante is also portrayed as a stronger character who can and will, stick up for himself and Alessi. That made the story much more enjoyable for me. The new characters that were introduced were also enjoyable additions and I am looking forward to getting to know more about Jad. Hmm, I haven't decided if friend or foe yet:)...
This book is well written and a clean romantic fantasy story that young adults will surely enjoy. I will definitely be waiting for the next book.

Wow!

As much as I enjoyed the first book.... the second book blew me away! It was phenomenal!

We find ourselves back in the magical kingdom under the sea, where SeQuence rules. Alessia has begun her training and finds herself becoming a pawn by more than just one player in the game. We get an inside look at some of the fearsome foes plaguing this otherwise peaceful land... and a glimpse of life outside the shield.

Although this book starts off a bit slow, it really picked up starting with Chapter Four. I almost think that the author could have done away with the majority of the first three chapters. From that point on, however, I found myself completely hooked. I didn't want to put the book down! In fact, I snarled at more than one person for interrupting me as I devoured the pages.

Lorraine M.L.M. had already completely won me over in the first book with her poetic and sensual writing style. This book, however... was so much better!!! This author has an incredible ability to capture and convey emotion that will leave you with non-stop tingles or leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next. From the non-stop action to the wonderful romantic tingles as we explore the deepening feelings between Alessia and Dante... This book is going on my list as one of my favorites of 2017.

For fans new to the series, I strongly suggest you begin with the first book. This is not a standalone novel and you'll be missing out on so much if you don't read the first one. However, for those of you worried about starting a series that isn't finished... this author doesn't leave you with any pesky cliffhangers. There's still a lot more to look forward to, but the ending was beautifully written and extremely satisfying.

So if you're a fan of Young Adult Fantasy Romance, I strongly suggest you check out this series. It's original story line, incredible world-building, poetic prose, enthralling descriptions, and memorable characters make this a must-read! As for me, I'm going to be anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series. I rank this a 4.5/5... dropping a half point only for the slow beginning. Other than that, this book was AWESOME!

*I received and arc of this book from the author however this did not affect my opinion*

I loved the first book in this series SeQuence so I couldn't wait to continue this series . This was a good continuation and I loved being back in Zenisha. One of my favourite things about this series is the characters . Dante and Alessia have such an interesting relationship and i'm so happy that we got to see it blossom . Another thing I loved about this book is the writing style it is descriptive and emotive and highly enjoyable.

I highly recommend this book as I found it enthralling and I can't wait until the next instalment.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review. I loved having more of Lessi and Dante’s story! I love watching the way their love and story blossoms and grows. This is book 2 in the series and as much as I loved it for me it wasn’t as good as the first. This one dragged in places and a few of the “sequences” that occurred didn’t fit in with the flow of the story for me. In saying that I still really enjoyed it and want to see where this SeQuence leads next!

I got this book as an ARC and I had read the first one and I could not wait to get my hands on the second installment of this series. It has my heart racing and my mind screaming for me to find out what was going to happen next. I could not help but wonder if this one was going to be as great as the first one. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the pace of this book. Well slow to started it does not say that way.
We are back in the land under that sea and here Alessia is going to start her training. Her romance with Dante is in full swing, but danger is on the rise and she is forced to put aside her distractions and that includes her love. She has to be focused on get her powers to be stable. You will have to read to find out all the details of what is to come.
