The book started off right where The Carter Girls part 1 ended. It was so much going on in this book. Noelle, Shiloh's girlfriend, had been replaced by the "Midnight Girl," that took Shiloh's heart. Shiloh was going to settle with Noelle, because she reminded him of Amari. Amari and Shiloh were not only childhood friends, but they were each other's first love. When Noelle saw the expression on Shiloh's face, the first moment that he saw Amari, Noelle knew that Amari was a threat.
Tyree was as messy as a female, who is Ontrell's partner. Noelle and Tyree were really close, but he talked entirely too much. Noelle told Tyree a family secret that came from Shiloh, and when she told Tyree, she might as well told the world. Tyree was down to earth, but he was one to keep at a distance, because he loved drama, and he fed off of it.
Olivia finally had slowly gotten herself together. She was drug-free, and she had employment. She had fell in love with Jeremy's cousin, and he had met her in her most vulnerable time and Olivia was grateful for everything that he had done for her. Since the Carter brothers cut Olivia off financially, Olivia had to now take care of herself. The Carter brothers felt that Olivia was spoiled, and she had to provide for herself, due to being an ingrate, which is someone that's ungrateful.
There were still editing issues in this book, but it was improved from the Carter boys series. Overall, it was still a great storyline, and there were so much dysfunction in all of the relationships.

It goes down
This book was long and good, full of drama, new relationships, crazy people and everything else. And this is only book 2. The ladies are really bringing it, I'm glad to hear from Amari. Glad her situation is on the up and up. Olivia was annoying but oh what a tumble web we weave. She got knocked all the way down. Poor Andrew, he kept me laughing, but love has a funny way of showing up out of nowhere. The story gets real, when the past is brought into the present. Now it makes more since why he's like he is. Tyree Tyree, smh. I knew Trell was trill but he got hands, official hands. The story is deep and funny, but there is so much more to know. I like how she introduces new characters into the series. I can see there is about to a lot to deal with in part 3.

Interesting
Good follow up to the Carter boys series. However, I found myself skipping chapters. Thought some of the people introduced were unnecessary and certain characters dialogue were too wordy and lengthy. I like the introduction of Amari. Looking forward to her growing relationship with Shilo. Tbh, tired of reading about Elijah and Jordyns relationship. I'm am curious to see about what becomes of Noelle's character. Had high hopes for her but she's a disappointment. I do like the focus on Ontrell, maybe it's time he moves on from petty Tyree... we'll see....

This was better than the first one. The Carter, whether it's the females or males are something serious. They have more drama than any other family I know. Can't wait to read part 3.

I was a little up and down with book 2
Still too much harsh language but I have come to realize these "hood books" (my term for this genre type) do not work without it. These girls are seriously ill and in need of prayer and therapy. Sleeping with your man's brother multiple times I might as well add. Its hard for me to wrap my head around, I mean who DOES THAT? Jordyn got the butt though. The men are so emotionally damaged it seems they are beyond any type of repair. SMH. Book three next.

I liked Noelle when she was introduced and I loved her and Shiloh's relationship, but when she started sleeping with his brother Trent I couldn't be #TeamNoelle anymore because that's straight up foul and after their breakup, she became a bitter, petty, childish woman. I felt so sorry for Amari at the beginning of her and Jeremy's breakup, but in reality, Shiloh is her soul mate. I can't wait to start book 3 to see how their relationship flourishes.

Olivia is not the only girl after all. OMG this us getting good, Yes it is. I love Shiloh he is my favorite Cartee. Noelle hoe ass got whar sge deserved. Anthony is dead wrong fir what he did to Shiloh. Joy needs ro take a back sit. I love this serie.

Repeat of previous books
I gave this book 1 star because it's a repeat of Hoodlums and Hooligans and Carter Boys. Exact same only difference is the name. If you read Carter Boys or Hoodlums and Hooligans then don't waster your money buying Carter Girl.

What A Read
This book gives you more information in the women that are in the Carter's life. It also gives us more secrets about them. As with the Carter Boys they don't play and neither do the women in their lives. Now more secrets are coming out. A great read. Now to book three.

Great read
This series, along with the carter boys is full of family drama..
It’s easy to get lost and wrapped up into each individual storyline, as if it were real life. Each character sounds like a member of my family or someone I personally know.

Everything really took me
Everything really took me by surprise.. omg first i always love jordyn that’s # 1 .. #2 dammmmmmmmnnn on the events that happened.. i felt some things were gonna happen but more took me by surprise.. and the ending hunny.. wow 😮.. so on to the next one

Not quite what I expected!
This book has me torn between 3 and 4 stars. The beginning and middle sections were quite slow. Very good ending

Wow I can't believe everything is finally out! I was so pissed that Noelle sat up and ran her mouth to Tyree and in front of Tiffany at that! Can't believe Tyree would be discussing his dude's business with his cousins like that either! I'm happy that Olivia and Andrew are getting comfy together. Joy is a little irritating.
