Author has left no stone unturned in setting up a perfect plot for a story with twists and turns. You may keep thinking over it, while it takes another plot to embrace the instances. I really enjoyed reading it all through while appreciating the humorous content without which this story is half baked.
Though, I believe there could have been much better ending to the pot set than the present one.
Still a perfect tale to be read for all the bookaholics who believe in sacrifices, optimism, dreams, fears, risk, failures and then bringing the best out of it.

“Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” is the debut book of Dhruv Anand. Firstly, I want to thank the author for selecting me to review his book and for providing me a review copy.
The title itself contains pretty much positive vibes and it is apt for the content of the story.
The language of the book is very lucid. The narration of the story is quite simple I’d say. Because the story has a plain and simple flow maintained almost till the end. Though the plot is good as per the journey, but it could’ve been crafted in a better way I would say.
The theme of the book is love, friendship, motivation and positive vision towards life.
The characters are portrayed and justified well by the author. Keeping aside the two main characters (Akhil Anand & Vrishika), I’d like to mention 3 other names here who has played equally important role in this book to keep the flow of the story intact. They are- Rahul Singh (Akhil’s roommate), Krishnaparth Nagpal aka ‘Nagpal’ (Akhil’s batchmate), Akira (Akhil’s very genuine friend in college).
The story begins- Akhil had dreams since his childhood to become a chef in future. He wanted to study Hotel Management to pursue his dreams. But his father wanted him to do something ‘fruitful’ in his life thus he can join his (father’s) factory and look after the same in future. Akhil did sacrifice his dreams to follow his father’s will and eventually landed himself in a complete different stream than his interest, which is ‘Mechanical Engineering’. After completing diploma and joining college for degree, everything was going on through almost plain track in his college life and study. Then he crossed his paths with Vrishika. After some primary interactions he started to feel for her and eventually both of them headed to their journey of love. Akhil did face some ups and down, and turns in his relationship, and regarding other issues in college with his friends also. But somehow he managed. But there comes a point when something tragic happened to his personal life and that affected his inner soul deeply. What was the incident? What happened with Akhil and his career and dreams after that? Will he be able to manage all the things till the last? What will happen to his relation with Vrishika in future? Is everything gonna be alright? Well, it’s the rest of the story which you’ve to explore by yourself.
Author has successfully depicted the real friendship between Akhil & Akira, the support of Rahul and Nagpal at stages when they needed to. The love of Akhil and Vrishika touched my heart at the very end. Author has painted the emotions perfectly with no exaggeration to be found. The mental struggle of Akhil, his father’s vision associated with Akhil’s dreams, his love and sacrifice, the love of parents, the support of friends and the motivation towards life, everything is shown here. This book teaches us that no matter if things are going wrong now a little, with strong determination, positive mind, and faith, one can achieve his goal and dreams surely sooner or later (though it may cost a really big ‘price’ sometimes). The end has taught me something really necessary lesson in my life. Waiting for the next part to be released soon. Thanks to the author and all the best for his future works.

Career dilemma is faced by almost everyone in this country. You wish to do something but your parents are not ready for it. Long debates, discussions with elder cousins, relatives and the so called counsellors become a part of the daily routine of a person who has just completed his Class 10th Board exams. As per expectations, a teenager expects to be free after appearing for his her board but the reverse happens. It is the time when the actual tension and struggle starts.

This book revolves around the protagonist Akhil Anand who has just finished his class 10th exams and is surrounded by questions about his career. Due to the advice of some people and his father’s wishes, he leaves his dream to become a chef and tries to make his career in the field of science. Though his mother was supportive of his dreams but his father did not support his dream and called it illogical. His mother’s support could not stand against his father’s wishes and he had to leave his dream. The book is all about his journey while building up his career, his college life and his friends. It is also about what happens when you are just leading a life with no satisfaction at heart and have to give up your dreams. The life is more difficult that way but you still have the feel that “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright!”

Well in this book I found the spark missing. It was just a plain and simple read. At some parts, the events became too descriptive. This is the story of almost every person who has to choose the career not according to their own wishes but as per the wishes of their parents; but the book could have been presented in a better and more interesting manner. I didn’t find it captivating. Yes, but not a bad book if you are thinking of reading a simple story.

Everything is gonna be alright is written on the theme of all’s well, ends well. The story of a dream, compromise, love.

Akhil Anand wants to be a chef and started learning culinary art from his mother at an early age while helping her in daily meals. He wanted to pursue hotel management and dreamed to open his own restaurant some day but his father did not think it is a great idea and forced him to do engineering. Initially, he had no inclination towards engineering but as if he cannot oppose his father he went on to do and compromised his dream for the sake of his father’s dream to saw him stable. Then story revolves around hostel, college and canteen and occasionally home. He made some good friends Vrishika - his love, Akira - the girl he bumped into on first day of college, Rahul - his roommate and Nagpal – his classmate. Soon his father realized his love for his dream but it’s already too late.

Story of a boy who unwittingly fall in to engineering which sounds victim of choices, the choice made by his father. The story picturesque college life of a boy with a kind heart, who gets in to trouble while helping others. Although it is a debut novel of author but could have been better.

The story shows how Akhil manages his studies though he joined the course as per his dad's willingness. The relation between him and his dad is depicted in a beautiful ways. His wish is to open a restaurant. Vrishika and Akhil fall in love with each other and in few days he gets a sad news about his dad. Akira is a good friend of both, she was a well wisher and from a poor background yet she face the world with a smiley face. The helping nature of Akhil becomes the plus point and goodness of the story.
