What felt like another transitional book; leading up to the finale. Again it felt very short, and likely this could have been combined with the next book to be one larger read.
We see how Sidney is coping with Smoke having disappeared. We find out what's been going on with Smoke.
I knock off one star because again it felt pointless to have such a short book to transition. Also, because this book didn't have any "action" or "fantastical" sequences we've come to expect. The closest thing is Sidney tangling with a singular deader, and a Man-bat shifter crashing into the hood of a car.
Excited to read the next book, and see where/how the series ends!
