A nice array of stories. Some better than others...
ROCKIN' THE SUITE - Rhonda James
3.5 Stars...this one was super sweet. A little abrupt in the ending in my opinion, but still cute.
THE MAIN EVENT - Sapphire Knight
2.5 Stars...found this one a bit hard to get into, to be honest. It did end on a sweet note, though.
DUET (ROCKSTAR #8.5) - Anne Mercier
4 Stars...I enjoyed this one a lot. I appreciated the author gave us a bit of a who's who so I was less confused and didn't have the feeling I was dropped into the middle of a story.
AS THE TIDE TURNS - BT Urruela
4 Stars...One of my favorites from the collection and really wish it had been a full-length story, or at least had an epilogue.

2 Stars...Second chance romance that was WAY too short to do this plot justice. NO groveling and his excuse for leaving her for ten years was LAME. No way would I have let this douchenoodle back into my life.
TEMPTED TIMES THREE - M Never
4 Stars...Sexy as F@ck MMF. Not much more to say. Loved it!
FREEING HIS DARK EDGES - Kane Caldwell
4.5 Stars...SUPER sweet and had a bit of a KA feel to it.
FORBIDDEN ATTRACTION - CA Harms
2 Stars...This was just OK. Again this one ended SO abruptly. I know these are supposed to just be very short little stories, but this one ended like the author took a break, and just never came back to finish the story.

4.5 Stars...This one was SMOKIN hot. Damn, I am STILL fanning myself. Alas, this was just a short little taste of a new duet coming in 2017.
A WILD CHASE - BB Reid
1 Star...OH GOD another douchenoodle Boss that sleeps with different women EVERY night. Yuck didn't give a shit about either of these two characters.
BLINK - Molly McLain
4.5 Stars...I loved this one. It has some nice angst for such a short story.
CLOSE ENCOUNTERS - Alison Bliss
3 Stars...This one was just OK. Annoying miscommunication at it's finest. It would have been better had it been longer (IMO.)
TAKING GREER - Winter Travers
1 Star Ugh, this one was a total miss. I think the names "APOLLO" and "GREER" were repeated gazillion times in this super short story. Had this been a drinking game I would have been drunk by the third page!
A SHOWER FOR...THREE? - Allie Juliette Mousseau
1 Star...Way too short and the writing felt clunky to me. Didn't like anything about this one.
So as you can see there is a little something for everyone in this collection. I loved the idea of all the stories connecting around this one event, and really it's for a good cause, so what have you got to lose by adding this one to your TO READ list. ;D

Review for FORBIDDEN by KL Kreig

Dear KL. Kreig,
I hate you. You are the worst tease in the history of teases and I can't even with you right now. If I knew where you lived, I'd drive down there right now and sit over your shoulder as you type the rest of this story and glare at you. Menacingly. SO MENACINGLY. *waves threatening fist*
What sort of fuckery was this, damn you? No, no, don't you give me that evil smile. Repent your bad deeds! REPENT!
As you can clearly see, I'm still attempting to calm my tits here. And as you can also clearly see, I'm failing miserably. Because this novella? WORST TEASE IN THE HISTORY OF TEASES!!! GAHHH!!!!
But in all seriousness, what the hell?!! Ever since the woman made the announcement of her upcoming duet, Lost in Between, I've been practically salivating for it. The she tells me there's a novella for this couple in this anthology, so of course I jumped at the chance to read it. I was like a sex addict at a porn convention. I was ALL OVER IT. And by it, I mean the book. Where did your mind go, dirty bird? But I digress.
I will tell you nothing of the book. NOTHING. One, because I'm evil like that. And two, because I don't want to spoil a thing for you. But what I will tell you is that if this doesn't whet your appetite for Shaw and Willow's story, roll over, you're dead. You'd have to be not to be an angsty, salivating, crazed and sexually frustrated mess at the end of this little tease. And that's what it is. A DAMN TEASE. But damn, it hurt SO GOOD. Now bring on the book before I hurt someone here!!!!

This book earned 5 stars based on entertainment and my level of enjoyment. If I wasn't already a fan of anthologies before, this one would make me into one. There wasn't a story I didn't like, there were quite a few that I loved, and I'm such a sucker because I've now added so many books from these authors to my never-ending TBR, it's not even funny.
What I really loved about this anthology was how each novella tied together. They each centered around the same even. It's new year's eve at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and all of the characters had gathered to enjoy both an MMA title match and a gala to benefit VETSports (which is where the proceeds of this book are going). There were married couples, those about to be married, and couples on the brink of something new. Some books were racier than others (M. Never brought it with a threesome ;)), while some were more on the romantic side.
Each story was fun and sexy and charming in its own way. There was lots of love and tons of lust. Some of the authors were new to me and I appreciated the glimpse into their style. I can't wait to get to know them all better through their books. This was an amazing compilation of new year blessings and I recommend it to those searching for an awesome holiday read and also wouldn't mind helping out a great cause!

ROCKIN' THE SUITE - Rhonda James
Who doesn't love an inked rock star who knows how to rock his wife's sexual world? Sebastian is so damn sexy! Not fussed on his woman, though. I can't stand chicks who are all like, "do you know who we are?" to get their own way and expect special treatment just because of it. 3.5 stars.
THE MAIN EVENT - Sapphire Knight
My first ever fighter romance read. Short and very sweet. Gav is a great example of an alpha- protective of the woman he loves whilst also loving her and treating her so well. Aria is so thoughtful towards her man and I love the way she is mouthy about the stupid dresses she is forced to wear for the event. 4 stars.
DUET (ROCKSTAR #8.5) - Anne Mercier
Cage and Serafina. A beautiful duet. The love between these two is palpable. It permeates the air around you as you read their short story. This story is definitely more than just sex. What a stunning pair of characters. 5 stars.
AS THE TIDE TURNS - BT Urruela
I love me a bit of action. This story about a bodyguard and his actress charge was fast paced and another story with fabulous characters. No flaws with this one that I could find. 5 stars
A POWERS PLAY (A POWERS THAT BE SHORT) - Harper Bentley
Gable and Scout. What a fun couple! This was a humorous story that had me giggling a few times. It totally made me one-click the crap out of Gable's book straight away. 5 stars.
CRAVED (BOUND TOGETHER 2.5) - Lacey Black
Scott & Tara. I didn't enjoy this story as much as the previous ones. What was supposed to be 'sexy' actually came off as pretty sleazy. It finished with a hot scene, but I am not sure that it salvaged the story. 2 stars.
DICED - Ginger Scott
Mia & Jamie. Oh wow, this couple is adorable! Mia is wonderfully feisty and I love how Jamie puts himself at her mercy. That slap and his reaction to it was hilarious. Another amazing story. 5 stars.
TEMPTED TIMES THREE - M Never
Chase, Shane and Jenn, Ty. Well that was damn hot! I will spare you the gritty details- you should totally read it yourselves. Another 5 star short. Halfway through and this book is proving to be a damn awesome read.
FREEING HIS DARK EDGES - Kane Caldwell
Naomi & Chase. This was a sweeter story. Chase was so naughty. I wasn't fussed on Naomi, though I can definitely relate to some of her reactions (especially in the strip club part). 3 stars.
FORBIDDEN ATTRACTION - CA Harms
Gage & Shay. Very sexy. Gage and Shay's attraction is off the charts hot and definitely heated up my kindle. 5 stars.
FORBIDDEN - KL Kreig
Shaw, Willow & Noah. Holy mother of hotness, does this woman know how to write! Sexiest MMF scene I've ever read. Time for me to read a full KL Kreig book, me thinks! This anthology keeps getting better and better.
A WILD CHASE - BB Reid
Mila & Chase. I am sounding like a broken record at this point. But Mila & Chase have amazing chemistry from the very start of this short story. 5 stars
BLINK - Molly McLain
Ian & Lauren. This was a heartbreaking and heartwarming story about a husband and wife who have lost each other, but are still so deeply in love. This was one of the tamer stories of the bunch. 4 stars.
CLOSE ENCOUNTERS - Alison Bliss
Brick & Addy. Not as strong as the last few. I didn't really feel as connected to these two characters. The writing is still good, though. 4 stars.
TAKING GREER - Winter Travers
Greer & Apollo. An edgy story about a woman who loves a dark man and the two of them finally give in to each other's passion. This is sexy and dangerous and I love it. 5 stars.
A SHOWER FOR...TWO? - Allie Juliette Mousseau
Joshua & Sophie. A short, sweet ending to an amazing anthology. Josh is swoon-worthy. What a gorgeous guy! It felt like this ended too quickly, though. I definitely need to read their full story. 4 stars.
This anthology was simply incredible and brought together an awesome group of authors. If their shorts are this good, then I can't wait to read their full novels. Well done, guys. Very well done.

3 INCOMPLETE STARS.
Well, I can't say I hated this book of short stories, but it was really too short to be comprehensive to me.
I felt literally placed into the middle of one situation after another and give no information and excepted to care what happened to these characters.
NEW FLASH, I personally need a little more than that.
Like leaving out essential information by telling me they are married right before the story ends.
Or how about the timeline shuffle, aka going backwards and forwards in their relationship.
Or playing guess who the other MC is by introducing so many characters that my head was spinning.
And many many more wonderful games and hidden delights.
This book was just not working for me.
I mostly felt like a dog chasing its tail. Or like this...
However, there are four short stories that made this purchase worth it.
Just can't give a 5 stars review for 4 short stories out of 16.
It's all good however because
All Proceeds Donated to VETsports!
So while the content was mostly not for me the purpose of this book was.
Therefore, I was left feeling

The Alphas & Fairytales anthology took stories from 16 authors that all are part of the events of the same evening, from all points of view. But all stories that are either brand new endeavors from authors or new stories from their existing characters. Now some of these stories were fantastic and some were just okay. I’m going to focus on those that I enjoyed most – but this is a book with sales that go do a great cause, so I recommend buying it just for the donation.
I am dying to get more from KL Kreig and the men she introduces us with in Forbidden. Hints at a very alpha M/F/M relationship and some intense chemistry was shown in this novella. I am so glad this was a taste of her upcoming release – because I would be pleading for this book to be written.
I really enjoyed Diced by Ginger Scott, I felt like so much story was given in such a short amount of time. I loved the characters and their history.
As the Tide Turns was another fantastically written short. A lot of development of the characters existed and the storyline was very strong. The characters introduced in this ‘security team’ set of characters is certainly something that I’d love to see more of.
For the rest of the stories, they were good. But I think since some of them were created with characters that might have already be created, the steps of developing them felt off. Without having read previous books by the authors, I felt lost with some of the stories – and a few went a bit overboard with filling in the info in a very ‘tell’ rather than show way that just didn’t allow the story to flow well.
Overall I loved about half of the stories and a few stood out – but I would buy this book ten times over just to support the VETSports charity.

It is HOT, SEXY, INTRIGUING and ADDICTIVE. It's made us SO desperate for more we CANNOT wait for Lost in Between (Feb 20th). WHAT A TEASE!!!

OMG *fans self* just you wait until you read Forbidden by KL Kreig. HOLY HOT!!!! Intense, sexy and decadent to the nth degree...I am in awe of this author and her writing and reading this makes me SO EXCITED to read Lost in Between in February.

A collection of stories tied together by the same MMA event taking place on New Years in Vegas. Proceeds to benefit VETSports
16 stories featuring Alpha males and all the love, lust, anger, and redemption you can handle in one book. It is longer in length and I found the stories didn't tie together as well as I had hoped. Some were better than others, but as a whole it's a fun anthology.
ROCKIN' THE SUITE - Rhonda James - 4 Stars
Fast paced, but super cute and sexy.
THE MAIN EVENT - Sapphire Knight - 2 Stars
I was left incredibly confused with this one unfortunately.
DUET (ROCKSTAR #8.5) - Anne Mercier - 3 Stars
Duet would've done better at the front of the anthology, as it has a lot of the background information readers need to understand the story.
AS THE TIDE TURNS - BT Urruela - 4 Stars
I wanted this one to be longer, it definitely has full length potential!
A POWERS PLAY (A POWERS THAT BE SHORT) - Harper Bentley - 4 Stars
This one is cute, I got the names confused some and the texting was a bit much, but I generally enjoyed reading this one from start to finish.
CRAVED (BOUND TOGETHER 2.5) - Lacey Black - 4
Loved the characters in this one and the writing is excellent, but the pacing is FAST if that isn't your cup of tea.
DICED - Ginger Scott - 5
This one was interesting and told from a completely different perspective than the previous novellas, but hands down my favorite. I loved how much of a story Ginger Scott was able to fit into such a short length. I really felt like I knew Mia and Jamie.

I love a good anthology. I find it an amazing way to discover new authors. The Alphas & Fairytales had a unique twist on the anthology that I personally found fun and refreshing. Each of the stories in this set takes has the same setting and takes place at the same time during the same event. I loved this idea and the continuity helped each story flow into the next.
There wasn't one story in this set that didn't grab my attention. Some were sweet contemporary, some had me laughing out loud and some were very erotic. There was something for every book lover.
While I read through all the stories and every one was a great read there were two that stuck out as favorites for me. First, Close Encounters by Alison Bliss was a hit for me. She never fails to make smile. She has a naturally witty style of writing makes her one of my favorite authors and this short story was no different. The other story that story that stood out to me was a second chance romance by Ginger Scott titled Diced. This one had me hooked from the first paragraph. Ginger Scott is an author I keep meaning to try out and after this I plan on doing that very soon.
Overall, this entire set was fun and sexy. Worth so much more than the 99pennies they are charging and with all the proceeds benefiting VetSports there isn't a better way to spend your dollar.

4 Make Your Resolution CROWNS
Oh my Lord, heat for days! Be prepared when you begin this book that it is hot, steamy, and utterly sexy. Each and every single story sizzles.
I love an anthology. I get to met new authors, to sample their writing styles, and to escape into a book. What could be better? With this anthology, nothing! Each story contains that dominate alpha male that I love, absolutely love, and boy, do these men know what they are doing in the bedroom, elevator, closet, or wherever they can find themselves alone with the women they adore.
While each story has its own level of heat and unique plot, they all contain stories about love - new love, rekindled love, real love, lust-to-love. You name it, it is somewhere in this book. Each story is just enough the entertain you, and give you some swoon-worthy moments, but a few are going to leave you wanting more. I know I added a couple authors and titles to my TBR after seeing a little snippet of the worlds they are planning to release in 2017.
If you love a holiday novella, you absolutely need to pick up Alphas & Fairytales. It would be the perfect way to celebrate the new year!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book
Let me say I love Anthologies because you get to read some of your favorite authors and you get introduced to new ones, that being said here we go! All of these stories take place in Vegas, where a charity fight and dinner for VetSports happening. Each story is a short glimpse into a couples life.
Rock in' the Suite by Rhonda James
Sebastian is part of a rock group that traveling, his wife Brooke is a chef who is covering for her sick boss by traveling and checking up on all his restaurants.
Being apart is killer so they're meeting for a weekend in Vegas.
Now, this is a new author for me but the anthology did its job and made me want to know more.
Sebastian is not only a sexy rockstar, but one HOT has hell sexter too, he should give lessons!!
And Brooke sounds like a girl that doesn't take shit from anyone, and just wants time with her sexy hubby.
Loved this little glimpse into their world and I will be one clicking to get to see how it all began.
The Main Event by Sapphire Knight
Gavin is a UFC fighter in a championship match and Aria is is girl.
What could be better than HOT fighters and mobsters? Nothing!!
It seems to be that Gavin is one of those men that are tough as nails, but is a softy where the love of their woman is concerned.
As you will be able to see with the surprise he has planned for her.
Aria is definitely a stand by your man woman and loves him with all her heart.
It seems that there is a lot that these too have been through and they have major love for each other.
Yep, I'll be looking into more of Sapphire Knight's UFC world!
Duet (Rockstar 8.5) Anne Mericer
Hello rockstars! I love a good rocker book and when the rocker is female it makes it even better almost.
Sera is in the band Blush and her hubby Cage is a producer and manager of another band called Falling Down.
Seeing glimpses of established couples is great and if done right it makes you want to see how they got together. This little baby did its job! Sera and Cage are hot as heck and this is another author that I will be adding to the tbr list!
As the Tide Turns by BT Urruela
Savannah is a Academy Award winning movie star, MMA loving girl, and a major donor and ambassador for VetSports. Jason is former military and her bodyguard.
Now, these two are not a established couple, however you can see the attraction right away. He plays by the rules and keeps them firmly in a business relationship.
She is flirty and fun and she has to fire him before he'll let anything happen. There's major drama in the story and it makes me wanna learn more about the author to see if there is more of Jason and Savannah. New Year's Eve is heating up!
A Powers Play (The Powers that be 1.5) by Harper Bentley
Gable and Scout are couple in Vegas for New Year's Eve and the fights!
Wowza! Gambling, fights, hotness, add in a crazy ex and what's not to like!! I don't think I've ever seen a hotter count down to New Years's than this.
Craved (Bound Together 2.5) Lacey Black
So, Tara has been in love with her brother's friend Scott forever it seems. Scott has felt the same way, but has stayed away because he didn't want to ruin his friendship and he wasn't sure that he wouldn't screw a relationship up.
Tara's brother and his wife a sneaky helping get the two together.
When they do get together they don't need the New Years Eve fireworks, they make their own!!

Jenn, Chase, and Shane are hot as hell!!
This story starts at the fights, but ends up at their hotel when the guys wanna surprise their girl.
Seeing all these stories melding on one universe is awesome and this triad does a awesome job at ringing in the New Year.
Not only do we have this story about Jenn and her men, we also have a tease with their friend Ty.
This is another one that has done it job and got me curious about how these people got together.
Freeing His Dark Edges (A Dark Edges short story) by Kane Caldwell
Oh wow! Chase and Naomi's story starts at Christmas. It's such a sweet story, Naomi got him tickets to the fight and gala for Christmas. The love that these two have for each other is very apparent as soon as you see them on the page.
It's a short story but one filled with lots of love.
Forbidden Attraction by CA Harms
Gage and Shay have danced around each other for years. He works for her father and no matter how much he wants her she is off limits. Shay has done everything to try on worn her way under the armor Gage wears.
You can really tell that they have had enough and they are going to be together no matter the circumstances. And I really would like to be a fly on the wall when they tell her dad. This was another new author for me and I really enjoyed it.

Holy hotness!!!! Kerig introduces two new characters in a Big way with this one!
Willow, Shaw, and Shaw's best friend Noah are in Vegas for the fight and Gala.
The hotnesss in this story starts quickly. Willlow and Shaw will melt your face and when you add in Noah it melts your reading device..
You better believe I will be one clicking Shaw and Willow's story in 2017!
Wild Chase by B.B. Reid
Just about every single woman out there has fantasies about someone, Mila's just happen to be about her jerk of a boss Chase.
For two years she has worked for him, hated him, and been attracted to him.
They go to Vegas for business and end the trip with pleasure. The sparks with this one are hot. Chase as only been a ass to Mila because he was attracted to her and doesn't sleep with employees. Will definitely be picking up the next book about Mila's friend!
Blink by Molly Mclain
Awe, Ian and Lauren's story is truly a every person's story. After years of marriage sometimes you become complacent and it takes something outrageous to jerk you to your senses. That is what this story is about, fighting for and finding that love you've always had.
It's a very sweet and to the point story that does a very good job at showing this.
Close Encounters by Alison Bliss
Brick and Addy show us that mistakes happen and makeup sex is HOT!
When Addy brakes things off with Brick it kills her because she still loves him, Seeing him in Vegas just makes it that much harder.
Brick doesn't know why Addy left him but he figures he'll give her time to cool off and then go after her.
I so can believe the reason that Addy breaks up with Brick, it happens all the time. I was relieved to see that Brick was just as in love with her and ready to get her back.
Taking Greer by Winter Travers
Mafia guys can be sooooo sexy and that is no lie when you're talking about Apollo.
Greer has loved him for 12 yrs, Apollo has loved her for just as long but she was a kid and then he got involved in the mafia and just wasn't good enough for her.
New Year's Eve, I swear anything can happen on that day. It's definitely out with the old way of thinking and in with the new.
I love seeing people who have loved each other for years finally give in and go for it. It's so awesome!!
A Show For...Two? Alllie Juliet Mousseau
Sophie and Josh, they are just cute for words!
Josh is ALL man and you can see that from the get go. Sophie loves her man and is so sweet with the New Year's Eve surprise she has for him. The elevator scene is a hot one!! I definitely will be one clicking their story to find out how they got together.
This was a anthology that introduced me to lots of new authors. I can't wait to start one clicking to find out more about the awesome couples I was introduced too with their help.

It's a very sweet and to the point story that does a very good job at showing this.

Brick and Addy show us that mistakes happen and makeup sex is HOT!
When Addy brakes things off with Brick it kills her because she still loves him, Seeing him in Vegas just makes it that much harder.
Brick doesn't know why Addy left him but he figures he'll give her time to cool off and then go after her.
I so can believe the reason that Addy breaks up with Brick, it happens all the time. I was relieved to see that Brick was just as in love with her and ready to get her back.

Mafia guys can be sooooo sexy and that is no lie when you're talking about Apollo.
Greer has loved him for 12 yrs, Apollo has loved her for just as long but she was a kid and then he got involved in the mafia and just wasn't good enough for her.
New Year's Eve, I swear anything can happen on that day. It's definitely out with the old way of thinking and in with the new.
I love seeing people who have loved each other for years finally give in and go for it. It's so awesome!!

Sophie and Josh, they are just cute for words!
Josh is ALL man and you can see that from the get go. Sophie loves her man and is so sweet with the New Year's Eve surprise she has for him. The elevator scene is a hot one!! I definitely will be one clicking their story to find out how they got together.
This was a anthology that introduced me to lots of new authors. I can't wait to start one clicking to find out more about the awesome couples I was introduced too with their help.

I love anthologies. I love box sets. Not only are they amazing deals price wise, they are also a great way to meet new authors and get reacquainted with authors we are seasoned with. If there is an anthology out there, I probably own it... and I have to say that this line up in Alphas & Fairytales is quite amazing.
The Alphas & Fairytales: A New Year's Eve Anthology is a thrilling book that gives a large variety of stories and authors. From check in from previous book couples to brand new standalone novellas, this anthology has a little of everything to wet your appetite and have you searching out for more. I devoured this ENTIRE anthology over a week long period, picking it up when I was in between books.
A few of the stories were obviously my favorites because I am invested in those series and the authors. Anne Mercier was one back giving us a tease of our beloved rock stars and to rock us with earth shattering news. Then we had Harper Bentley, who brought the Powers back and gave me a little taste that made me want so much more. And let's not forget Lacey Black, giving me another HOT installment in her epic Bound Together series. And CA Harms is a favorite author of mine so I devoured her story fast and hard.
From old to new, I was blessed to meet some new authors in this book that piqued my interest from the words they wrote. And I also got the opportunity to finally read some authors that I have heard a lot about yet haven't found time to make it to their books.
If you are a lover of romance, then this anthology is PERFECT for you!

I like anthologies I like when hey have complete stories in them and I don't have to wait for a new series to be born. I really liked this anthology snd while a cloud of stories are to be continued there books I'm very excited about. Alphas And Fairytales: A New Year's Anthology is a book of short stories all revolving around a MMA Fight and a gala. I loved that all these stories were connected together through the fight and the gala. It was so much fun to see what all the different couples or threesomes were up to. I was especially happy to spend more time with my favorite threesome from M Never.
If you love hot, dirty talking alpha males this anthology is sure to have something inside you will love. Plus proceeds go to a really worthy cause. It's a win win for everyone.

I had the amazing opportunity to read Close Encounters by Alison bliss. This features Brick and Addison. After a devastating break up Addison wants to move on with her life. Brick is determined to have Addison back in his life after she breaks it off suddenly.
This story is short but doesn't leave out the steam. I love Alison Bliss and I love her books.

This book was a quick and fun read. I enjoyed the push/pull between Addy and Brick. These two crazy kids were engaged till recently when a couple of misunderstandings broke them up. At a fundraiser they meet again and spark fly. It is very apparent that they both love each other immensely but both seem to suffer from pride and anger.
Brick is not a man to be pushed aside, he is an alpha in the truest sense and that comes across in this story. I really liked when even though they are mad at each other and Addy is being very stubborn, Brick doesn’t hesitate to step in and defend her.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others.

Holy moly KL Kreig, that was one hot story. To know that this is a preview of the characters that she will feature in her upcoming duet release was almost like icing on the cake. An intro to characters that I'm already dying to know- and to support an honorable charity like VetSports- hell yes!
The book is ridiculously sexy. Like you lose everything that's happening around you in real life and become immersed in the sinful seduction of her writing. The story was great, kept me reading, and gave me a surprise in the end. As is the case with any good novella, the appetizer of the book world, it has left me wanting more. Lucky me that "Finding Me" releases on February 20, 2017.

This review is for Tempted times three by MNEVER. This author sure packs a wallop in this short tale. I hope we hear more from Jenn,Chase and Shane. That ending was a doozy. I can't wait for that couple to get their own book. Steam factor 10.

Close Encounters by Alison Bliss is an awesome read. She made identifying with the characters and the story easy. You really connect with Addy and Brick, feeling the high emotions and tension depicted throughout the story. I would love to see a novel featuring them, to continue there story.

I like that this one had a bit more of back story, starting at Christmas instead of at the MMA fight.
Forbidden Attraction by C.A. Harms ~ 4 of 5 stars This was a pretty good story, it was more about feelings than the fight or gala, which was nice. The boss’s daughter is off limits……… or is she?

Alphas & Fairytales: A New Year's Eve Anthology is one of the best Anthologies i have read in a while. I really don't have a favorite short story in this book. All the authors are amazing. Some are new to me and some i have read everything by them.
I love anthologies that revolve around one event and one time of the year. This one just so happens to revolves around one of my greatest sports MMA and an organization that helps so many. Along with revolving around New Year's Eve.
Rockin' The Suite by Rhonda James was just so heartwarming. Sebastian is this Rick Star determined to show is wife Brooke just how much he still loves her. I loved how Brooke os this bada$$ Chef who makes it to Las Vegas to spend tine with her husband. This one was raw and sexy.
The Main Event by Sapphire Knight this one is about Aria who is dating Gavin "The Ripper" Jones. This one is the guy who is taking on Johnny "The Bone Crusher" Rodriguez. The whole main MMA event at the MGM Grande. This one was so sweet and Gavin is very animalistic and Aria is a very lucky woman.
Duet by Anne Mercier is Sera and Cage you do see them in her The Rockstar Series. Sera is a woman after my own heart and Cage is my dream man. This one is very tie you up tie you down kind of sexy. It had my blood on fire.
As The Tide Turns by BT Urruela is about Jason who is a Vet now working as a private security firm. He has two of his buddies with him and they just so happen to be working with a famous actress Savannah Jordan. She likes him but he is denying his feelings because he is all work. This is my first book by BT Urruela but it won't be my last.
A Powers Play by Harper Bentley Gable and Scout are so adorable. This is a loving relationship that i think all woman crave. My favorite part os Scout's one. Now that is a countdown i don't think anyone would miss.
Craved by Lacey Black in this one you see Scott and Tara. Two people who have loved each other but because they love someone in common they have kept their distance. You do see them in Submerged. It has more of their back story. I love HEA and this one has it.
Diced by Ginger Scott is about Mia a bada$$ Chef trying to make her restaurant at the MGM a big win. But on the biggest night of her life she has to suck up her pride and call the one man that could ruin her, Jamie. Im a Chef so this one touched my heart and i loved it. This one saw my angry side because of stuff. Read it to understand.
Tempted Times Three by M Never this one is Shane, Chase, and Jenn. Im not a huge fan of M/M/F books but there was something about this one. They all are down right in love with each other that it just screams off the pages. This book was so heartwarming that i would defintely read the whole novel.
Freeing His Dark Edges by Kane Caldwell Naomi and Chase are my dream couole. They love each other so much. They do what most people do in Vegas. And boy was it so awesome to read. I loved everythingabout them.
Forbidden Attraction by CA Harms Gage and Shay have danced around each other for so long. But Shay is done with that she is in Las Vegas attending the MMA fight and the Gala to seduce Gage. Her father be damned. This book was amazing and everything i wanted from CA Harms.

A Wild Chase by B.B. Reid follows Mila who has a crush on her boss Chase. Chase cant understand how she doesn't see that he likes her. And now is the time to show her. This isn't your typical boss assistant romance. I loved this because Chase forces her to be aggressive. Its very cat and mouse game they play.
Blink by Molly Mclain follows Ian and Lauren. They are marrued but have seened to loss their way. Ian is more marrued to his job and Lauren wants the man she narried. This is a very good second chance love story. I loved how they both came together to fighr for each other.
Close Encounters by Alison Bliss is about Addy and Brick. Addy makes a huge mistake when it comes to Brick. Brick isn't letting Addy go. I loved this book. I did want to strangle Addy though. Instead of just listening to Brick instead she jumped to conclusions and wasted time. Time they could have soent planning their wedding.
Taking Greer by Winter Travers is about Greer and Apollo. They have loved each other for over 10 years, and its time to stop fighting. He wants her to find someone better than him and she wants no one but him. I wish this book was so much longer. I want a full length novel, i need more from these two.
A Shower for... Two? By Allie Juliette Mousseau follows Joshus North, he likes to see the brighter sides of things. And Sophie who his better half. This is a very cute story that i wish i had more background story on.
Like i said some are new authors and some are old. I do wish i had so much more storyline with all these books. I will say every sex scene in ever short story in this Anthology was so vivid and downright sexy that i swear my kindle and my phone were going to catch on fire. Having lived in Vegas this brought back so many memories. I love Anthologies because yoh get a taste of amazing authors. You just want to keep reading everything from them all.
I love anthologies that revolve around one event and one time of the year. This one just so happens to revolves around one of my greatest sports MMA and an organization that helps so many. Along with revolving around New Year's Eve.
Rockin' The Suite by Rhonda James was just so heartwarming. Sebastian is this Rick Star determined to show is wife Brooke just how much he still loves her. I loved how Brooke os this bada$$ Chef who makes it to Las Vegas to spend tine with her husband. This one was raw and sexy.
The Main Event by Sapphire Knight this one is about Aria who is dating Gavin "The Ripper" Jones. This one is the guy who is taking on Johnny "The Bone Crusher" Rodriguez. The whole main MMA event at the MGM Grande. This one was so sweet and Gavin is very animalistic and Aria is a very lucky woman.
Duet by Anne Mercier is Sera and Cage you do see them in her The Rockstar Series. Sera is a woman after my own heart and Cage is my dream man. This one is very tie you up tie you down kind of sexy. It had my blood on fire.
As The Tide Turns by BT Urruela is about Jason who is a Vet now working as a private security firm. He has two of his buddies with him and they just so happen to be working with a famous actress Savannah Jordan. She likes him but he is denying his feelings because he is all work. This is my first book by BT Urruela but it won't be my last.
A Powers Play by Harper Bentley Gable and Scout are so adorable. This is a loving relationship that i think all woman crave. My favorite part os Scout's one. Now that is a countdown i don't think anyone would miss.
Craved by Lacey Black in this one you see Scott and Tara. Two people who have loved each other but because they love someone in common they have kept their distance. You do see them in Submerged. It has more of their back story. I love HEA and this one has it.
Diced by Ginger Scott is about Mia a bada$$ Chef trying to make her restaurant at the MGM a big win. But on the biggest night of her life she has to suck up her pride and call the one man that could ruin her, Jamie. Im a Chef so this one touched my heart and i loved it. This one saw my angry side because of stuff. Read it to understand.
Tempted Times Three by M Never this one is Shane, Chase, and Jenn. Im not a huge fan of M/M/F books but there was something about this one. They all are down right in love with each other that it just screams off the pages. This book was so heartwarming that i would defintely read the whole novel.
Freeing His Dark Edges by Kane Caldwell Naomi and Chase are my dream couole. They love each other so much. They do what most people do in Vegas. And boy was it so awesome to read. I loved everythingabout them.
Forbidden Attraction by CA Harms Gage and Shay have danced around each other for so long. But Shay is done with that she is in Las Vegas attending the MMA fight and the Gala to seduce Gage. Her father be damned. This book was amazing and everything i wanted from CA Harms.

A fantastic group of stories for a great price. This is one of the best box sets that I have read in recent memories and I highly recommend this, great stories and awesome authors.

The Main Event by Sapphire Knight--Gavin is a UFC fighter in a championship match and his girl Aria comes along with him for the ride. She is his ride or die chick, she is the glue that holds him together. They have been thru so much and this novella reflects the love they have for each other. You see the love Gavin has for Aria and the surprise he has planned for her. Great show into the Sapphire Knight’s UFC world. My Review: 4.7 stars
Duet (Rockstar 8.5) Anne Mericer--Sera is in the band Blush and her husband Cage is the producer/manager another band called Falling Down. This was a glimpse into their lives and other established couples lives within the bands and how they are doing. Oh the heat hasn’t died down between Sera and Cage. I enjoyed the revisit and I cannot wait for more books in the Rockstar series. My review: 4.5 stars

Close Encounters by Alison Bliss---Brick and Addy is a couple that shows us mistakes can happen in a relationship and no matter what, makeup sex is a good way to go. What happens is Addy brakes things off with Brick , she didn’t want to. They fought and she broke thing off. It about did her in. She loved Brick. Brick figures ok, let her calm down and then he would go get his woman back. When they get back together in Vegas, it was awesome. The road to getting back together was a trial for them both and their love story was paved with bumps and not everything stays in Vegas but remember Brick and Addy’s fix-MakeSex is the way to go. My Review:4.7 stars

I read this novella in the Alphas & Fairytales: A New Year's Eve Anthology.
LVPD Detective Ian Rusk's wife walked out on him six days earlier on Christmas Day. He hasn't heard from her since. On the job, something it always seems he is, he's working the big fight at the MGM when he spots his wife on the arm of an NFL linebacker. When he confronts her, will he learn that he's been replaced for a higher end model or will he realize what's truly at stake? I love a second chance story, and Molly does them well!

I love Lacey's Bound Together series so I was excited that Scott and Tara were getting their own story. It's a short one but still every bit amazing. I knew they would have a hot chemistry but damn...

One, he is afraid to hurt her. Two, she is his best friend's little sister. He doesn't want to lose either one of their friendships. The real her but on New Year's Eve he sees something different. She intrigues him. She wants to know more about him. He wants to give in but when an unexpected twist comes into play...will they have a chance to share a Midnight kiss?
I thought the story was awesome! It was short but not rushed. It was flirty, fun, and had added suspense.

Both my husband and I come from families with veterans, so we like to do what we can so when I spotted a new anthology for VETSports, I was all over that. Not only is this a great organization, the lineup of authors for this anthology was amazing—some of them I’ve heard of, some of them I know and others were knew to me. I appreciated that even if the novella was part of a series, it could be read as a standalone. I wasn’t left standing in the dark. I’m only going to review a few of the stories.

This was a really sweet story. Sebastian has some smooth talking…fingers. That man knows how to sext. Brooke seems like she’s my kind of girl—she takes no crap from anyone. I liked this little glimpse that I saw into Sebastian and Brooke’s story. It made me want to know more. I’ll definitely be looking into picking up their books.

He knows that he needs to stay focused and keep his mind on the job. But she is determined to make him play. I will admit that Whitney Housten’s snog did play as the background music in my head while I read this but I thought it was a good story. Up until I got to a few later stories, it was my favorite.

Who doesn’t love a little ménage? I know I do! And I definitely have a thing for MMF ménage. This story was both sweet and hot. They start out at the fights but the guys have their own plan for the party. It was definitely a panty melting story. I’m definitely curious about where this triad got their start. And the little tease for Ty has me salivating. I love enemies to lovers stories.

The anthology is worth it for this story alone. Oh my goodness. This story steams off the pages as K.L. Krieg teases and tempts you with her upcoming couple. I cannot wait to read Willow and Shaw’s story. If it’s anything like this, I’m going to be a puddle of goo by the end. Shaw’s dominating and Willow sounds like she started out shy but is starting to find a backbone.
