Filthy Professor

When I first saw Kaitlyn, I knew.
I wanted her.
I wanted to do filthy things to her.
And when I found out just how innocent she really was, I got even more excited, because I’d be able to teach her exactly how to use those luscious lips, those little hands, that perfect body to please me.

It didn’t matter that she was my student.
It didn’t matter that we had a code of ethics.
It didn’t matter that I’d be ruining her for anyone else.

I wanted her, and I was going to have her.

I enjoyed this short professor/student love story.

Ian was a hot and sexy professor.  He came from wealth and didn't need to work, but he wanted to prove to his father that he was more than just a playboy.

Kaitlyn was a sweet, smart and down to earth heroine.  She too came from a wealthy family,  but her parents didn't make time for her.  Treating her like a nuisance, not a daughter.  The love of her grandma got her through while growing up.  When it was time for college, she chose the school closest to her grandma so she could be there for her.

Once the two cross paths, they can't fight the attraction.

~hot older professor
~smart down to earth heroine
~no pushing away
~ow/om drama - none
~no cheating
~an epilogue that was about a year and a half out.   I of course wanted to see more of what their life together ended up like

I don't know what it is about the teacher/student trope, but I do seem to love them. This was one of Lila Younger's better stories for me. The one thing I felt her books lacked were the more dominant Alpha's, a personal preference of mine. She was either listening or just felt like doing something a bit different. Either way I liked that the H was just a tad bit more aggressive compared to her usual H's. I would still love to see a bit more aggression/dominance but definately an improvement for what I like in my books. ARC provided by author.

These short stories are meant for a specific mood and a specific type of reader. I tend to avoid these types of novellas but every now and then I come back and think they might be different.

Unfortunately, I like a little more meat to my stories. I have a biased opinion so take it as it is, but I just can't get behind how everything is always tied together in a nice bow at the end and how quickly everything moves. I want grit, I want longing, I want more taboo and I definitely want more passion. I skimmed the sex scenes and I definitely skimmed the soap-opera-esque type scenes.

This is in no way a dig to Lila Younger - because I have read some of her stuff that I actually really enjoyed. I just feel like I can't be an accurate representation of these types of book because they just aren't my cup-of-tea.

On to the next!

Kaitlyn is a student and Ian Taylor is her new handsome Art teacher. Then you know what might happen when they meet. The title says Filthy Professor but he is not as filthy as I expected him to be. The girl is a naive virgin school girl and I expected her to act that way, but boy she acted very easy to get. The characters are nothing to rave about here. The plot was predictable and there are some steamy scenes.

Overall this was a fun read and I would go with 3.0 stars out of 5.0.

Hot forbidden romance
Kaitlyn is a student who is into art because of her grandmother, rumors around the school is one of the family that founded the school is teaching there. When Kaitlyn meets the new teacher, Mr Taylor she feels something for him but when she finds out he will be helping her with her thesis she is ready to with him. Ian knows there is something about her when he offers to help her in a better environment things start to get hot and dirty. I actually liked them together he was very possessive of her with a hint of protectiveness when she was worried about her grandmother. Short story but it sure does hit the spot for some forbidden love.

3.25 stars! This was a quick, safe sweet read.
Kaitlyn is a naive, sweet and innocent girl who falls in lust with the first guy she stumbles upon, literally. Which happens to be Ian, the professor.
Ian's past involved with him being the ultimate playboy partier, but he got tired of that lifestyle and changed his life around.
The steamy scenes were hot. Lust quickly turned into love between these two.
I just wish the epilogue was HEA not HFN.

A well written short about a forbidden romance between a student and her professor.

It has a great build up of story to keep things moving along just fast enough. It's got some interesting scenes that make your heart beat faster.

Overall was a great short story read. I'd totally go back to read this new to me author again.

EH…. it wasn’t bad. Not the worst novella I’ve read but I don’t think it’s very memorable. Characters was okay and plot was mediocre. Wouldn’t really recommend.

Bye!

Ack!

Misused apostrophes, switching between past and present tense, and general new adult idiocy make this a cliched story to avoid. DNF.

The professor isn’t really as filthy as the title implies. Yeah, he seduces one of his students, but she’s more than willing. The story is short and hot, so naturally things move pretty quickly. I would have liked to see them put up a little more of a fight against those who betrayed them, but things worked out in the end. I did like the way we alternated his point of view with her point of view without any repetition.

This is by far my favorite book by Lila Younger!! I loved the chemistry between Ian and Kaitlyn. They were hot & steamy together and both wanted more, but didn't realize it until tradegy hits Kaitlyn and Ian realizes how important she really is. Great quick & hot book that I absolutely would recommend!!!

SMOKING HOT Professor and A class I would never miss!
Overall rating: 4.75
Story quality: 4.5
Steam under the collar: 5
Character development: 4.75

Filthy Professor by Lila Younger is a HOT and Quick read. Kaitlyn and Ian are drawn to each other by a simple cup of coffee and a heavy wooden door. Kaitlyn is in her last semester deep in the middle of her unstated art history thesis is challenged by her new Hot Professor Ian Taylor. The man with a name everyone at the college know and all the girls are hot for. It is steamy and the relationship they have is one that make you want more. I loved the book because they were a dynamic couple that shows that you can have brains and be hot! The book was one that I couldn’t put down and it was read from cover to cover in one sitting.

Excellent book, one of Lila's best. Hot, sexy and dirty. Definitely enjoyed this one! Lila is fantastic at telling a great story. She knows just what to write to get and hold your attention.

Ian is the hot, new professor at TAU where Kaitlyn is a student. His first day teaching, Kaitlyn ends up making quite a first impression by spilling her coffee on him. But that is not the reason they can't stop thinking about each other. There was also a spark of attraction between them upon meeting. Then they discover that Ian is Kaitlyn's thesis instructor, putting them in close contact on a regular basis not just time spent in class with a bunch of other students. Their first day working together on her thesis, they end up in bed together at Ian's. Afterwards, Kaitlyn wonders if this is a one time thing or if Ian is interested in them having a relationship. It's a big no-no for professors to be involved with their students at TAU so if they get caught it means goodbye Ian.

Good Balance

When extraordinary circumstances result in serious consequences in a romance story, I take note. And such is the case here. The steam is balanced by the stakes, and that's a good thing.

I love nothing more than the MC to see something or someone he wants and will do anything to get it. This student/teacher was steamy enough to fog the windows.

I'd categorize this as more romance than erotica, but the sex scenes were pretty good and the characters were actual people and not over the top lust crazed horn dogs. I would have liked a little more "teaching" but what was there was pretty good.

Sexy quick novella “palate cleanser “ as like to call them. Decent character development for their heroine considering it’s a short read. I always enjoy a possessive hero “MINE” kinda man.

Not filthy enough

This is the story of Kaitlyn and Ian. Kaitlyn comes back from Christmas break to hear about the new, hot professor. On the first day of classes, she bumps into him. There was instant attraction.

Ian was trying to focus on his work and not get involved with any of his students. This is hard after he finds out he is assigned to be her thesis professor. However, he cannot fight the temptation. And neither can Kaitlyn. They spark a connection by talking and getting to know each other. They have more in common than they thought, especially their love for Renaissance art. He is also impressed that she is not throwing herself at him because of his family name. That fact makes him more attracted to her.

Once the romance starts, they did not think they could get caught and got sloppy with hiding it. After a rendezvous in his office, the dean fires him because a fellow professor, who wants his job, ratted him out and had a recording to prove it. Ian was willing to sacrifice his lifelong dream of teaching to be with Kaitlyn.

The author lost me at that part. It did not seem realistic that a man would give up his dream for a student, who is years younger than him, that he might not stay with in the long run. This was a typical story. It was not that memorable for me to recommend.
