**Spoiler alert!

I’m halfway through the book and don’t feel like continuing. In my opinion, the story moves too slowly.

The title is misleading. There's no bad boy here! The hero blushed and felt uncomfortable when the heroine saw his bare butt. Seriously? It wasn’t what I expected. Moreover, the heroine is an innocent, twenty-year-old virgin... I didn't expect this either. I don’t know why but I've recently gotten so sick and tired of virgin heroines, so nope, not now please.

Maybe next time, I guess.

This was fun intriguing short story.

Matt, male MC, is blacksmith. An Artisan that works with metal, but he also has a dark side. His personal life is pretty much non existent - due to a tragedy in his past.

Jo, female MC, a young woman, who wants to and has the talent to be an artist - but her family wants her to go into something safe and secure.

Jo comes to Matt's place of business to have him create a crown for a pageant that her family organizes.

They are attracted to each other - even though Matt thinks he's to old for her and definitely not good enough and Jo thinks she not pretty enough. When Jo comes to pick up the crown sparks fly literally.

Enjoyed this short story - and definitely feel there is more to this story than what was put between the covers.

I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this copy and was not compensated in any way.

Fallen - Gabi Moore ( 4 Stars )

Matt is a Blacksmith with a troubled past he tries very hard to keep hidden , but when Jo an innocent Artistic young woman with her own set of issues walks into his shop , they may find out they are each others missing pieces.

I loved the authors writing , she detailed everything perfectly and made you love both characters and want them to find happiness with each other in such a short space of time .
That being said I really wanted Jo & Matt's Story to go on and on .I felt there were some missing pieces that were never laid bare .
It's a short read , but I enjoyed their love story.

Wow, for such a short read it was very emotional. I loved this story, I would love it if the author made a continuation to the book cause I'd love to know what happens to Matt and Jo next.

Matt is a blacksmith and Jo is an artist who commissions him for a tiara for a beauty pageant she's running. That's pretty much the gist of the story.

I have a few problems with the book. One, it has novel in the title, but is only 60(ish) pages long. Novella at best. Two it has all the plot and character development of a porn. Three barely legal virgin herione (But then, see problem two).

Matt's back story is paper thin and pretty cliche, he hurt someone there was an accident...I think we're supposed to assume that whatever the accident was the woman, who went unnamed through the story died, but there's ample evidence that she might have just left him, so there's that and whatever it is, he is hung up on it and it happened four years ago.

Jo's is a bit more thought out. The ugly duckling (who isn't ugly--cliche) of the pageant pretty family, she has low self-esteem and does whatever her mother tells her to do and so she's preparing for a life of misery because she can't go to art school.

The plot is thin and they barely talk before they make out and then go at it. The writing is pretty juvenile and could use another round at the editor's, but the sex scene was pretty steamy...would have been better if she wasn't a virgin, though...so I guess, if steamy sex scenes and short stories are you thing then this is your thing, but if you like well-thought out stories that lead to steamy sex scenes, then this is definitely not your thing--but it is short and a good half of it is sex scene.

I'LL BE WITH YOU AGAIN.......

ARC received for an honest review.
Matt, blacksmith💪🐎 and metal artist🔪🎨, is selling out, running away. He's running away from his broken heart💔 He's sold his studio and is leaving town, he's going to try to leave it all behind and start over somewhere new. His heart was broken💔 three years ago and he's still a broken man.
He has one last project to make. Something for some guy named Joe. Only when Joe gets there to talk to him, it's Jo, and she's a young beautiful sweet girl💋 of 18.
Jo💋 is an artist🎨 too, she has a drawing of a metal princess 👑crown she wants him to make for a pageant her sister is in.
She shows Matt🐺💪🍌🌋💔 her sketch book with knights and swords🔪 and warrior princesses👑, all drawn to lifelike perfection. She wants to pursue her art in college but there's no money.
She is everything Matt wants, but he feels he will only break💔 her heart. Jo, untouched, unkissed , unloved💔 by a man, sees Matt🐺 as her soul, her mate🍌🌋, everything she has ever wanted and could never have.

This is an emotional😂 book. I wish it might have been a few chapters longer. The author leaves us with a bittersweet promise of what could be, what might be, what will be.💘

Jo, helping her mother with a beauty pageant, hires Matt Steel to make a crown. Matt is a blacksmith and works with steel and did not know what to expect when he got the request for a crown.
When Jo shows up at his shop with the sketch, he is butt ass naked under his apron. She arrived a little early. Matt hadn't planned to be naked and thought he had plenty of time before meeting Joe. If he had paid closer attention he would have noticed it was Jo.
As she stood trying not to eye him, she explained that it was going to be a pageant crown and had the sketch with her. She told him it needed to be light as possible, and while she stood there, he began bending wire into the intricate design she had in mind. He had her try on the rough design and she told him it was perfectly light and was looking beautiful.
They flirted for a while and Jo wants him to take her virginity. He is damaged from a bad relationship, so will he be able to give Jo what she wants?

Jo meets Matt on the day both their lives were at a crossroads. There was an instant connection that neither could deny. Battling to not let things get out of hand, he vowed to stay away from her, but felt drawn to her creative side.

She decided to steer clear, but felt drawn to the beautiful metal work and the man that had created it.

They are both reluctant, but unable to stop what’s coming. The question is will they survive?

This was ok, but was really a half story. It ends with a cliffhanger that is ripe for a book two, but I haven’t found it. Too bad as it ends ata point that could have taken this book anywhere it needed to go.

rcvd an arc for giving my two cents. a good short story and to the point. i wouldve liked to know more about matt and how he came to be the way he is. i felt jo was ballsy and went after what she wanted..eventho she is young and naive. it was cool how in tuned they were together...her sketches to his metalwork.

I usually have two general rules.
I don't read short stories and expect at least some form of happy ending in the books I read.
What can I say? This story was short, very much so. There wasn't a happy ending, not by a longshot. But I liked it! It was very well written with real, everyday characters. Kept me interested and I found myself asking if our couple will have another chance. I really would like to find out. I got a few morsels of past scars in Jo's and Matt's life only enough to pique my interest. I really am interested to learn about what happened to Matt in his past or what becomes of Jo in the future. Their chemistry is super kindle-melting hot. And how these two meet for the first time is just hilarious. I liked the pairing: a craftsman and an artist, like opposites attract. His yin to her yang.
So it was a quick but very entertaining read.

‘Fallen’ by Gabi Moore is a short and emotional read.

Matt and Jo have a strong connections and that has sparks flying. One thinks he is not good enough for the other and the second thinks they are not pretty enough or has anything to offer him. For such a short read you really felt invested in this pair and wanted them to have they love that they deserved.
It was a love story that I would have happily read more of, 4 stars.

This was a super quick read that was a little on the emotional side. The characters Jo and Matt are a bit jaded by both past and present. The plot was super fast making me hope there is a continuation to this story. If looking for a super quick read then this is for you.

Jo & Matt are both unhappy with their lives. Matt misses his past love. Jo doesn't feel she measures up in her family. I almost gave a 4 because I wanted more. I'm hoping things continue in another story. They definitely need more time.

Loved it! Both Main Characters were really relatable. It was very well written and easy to follow. my only criticism is that it was too short I wanted more. Definitely a great quick read.. steamy and sexy without being over the top.

Totally not what I expected. Seriously Matt doesn't seem like the slightest bit of a bad boy. No background, what was he supposed to have done? What was the accident? Also he "blushed". C'mon mun, hes supposed to be a "bad boy"!
And Jo, was a 20 year old, then all of sudden she was 18 years old.
I would have liked a bit more of a story. It was just all about her losing her virginity and him complaining he wasn't good enough.
