As warned in my review of Book #1, the writer never finished the series. Sorry, but this isn't acceptable. That's why I don't buy serials. You. as a writer, MUST FINISH your tale before even considering publication. Especially where Book #2 left off. The worst of cliffhangers I've read in years!
Something didn't feel "right" with this installment. It's as if I've read this scenario before. I first sniffed this at the end of Book #1 but couldn't figure out why I felt that way. Now with the beginning and the ending of Book #2, that feeling came back full-force. I KNOW I'VE READ THIS SCENARIO BEFORE! The problem is that the similarities feel way too strongly... as if not quite verbatim. Hmm.... I'll have to take some time to untangle these faint memories. I do read a ton of books each year. There might be some crossover, but who knows?
Take it from me. No serials unless the book is finished! And I don't pay more than $2.99 for each 200 pages! (My rules.)

Oh the author draws you in deeper into the story in this second installment. Weaving among the happiness of Amber and Ben overshadowed by the creepiness of his teammate.

OH MY GOODNESS! Excitement is just one word I felt when it came to reading this book,I know I am in love with polar bears! Every book in this series has been Absolutely SPECTACULAR! I love reading Emerald Wright books and as I have stated before I'm a Fan for Life. I was so eager to read it. I love all the characters in this book and the series.Emerald Wright books has never ever disappointed me. The storyline is strong, engaging and Fantastic. Her characters are amazing, thoughtful, powerful, exhilarating and lovable. The Dialogue is fascinating, humorous and realistic. This series is a best seller. The SHIFTER: Polar Bear, series is written parts books, but you will want to read all of them, you will start reading part one of book 2. There is a lot action and so much excitement. I couldn't put it down. I read it in one sitting. The story will captured your attention immediately and sweep you into the world of Werebears. Warning This is a serialized story with a CLIFFHANGER! if you don't like reading the story in parts you can wait and read the Box Set but you will still want to read SHIFTER: Polar Bear by Emerald Wright! This is part Two of Ben and Amber story. Ben is a Polar Bear shifter who has life goals and he won't allow anyone to get in his way, but he meets Amber. Amber is curvy, fair-skinned and fair-headed, she feels awkward around most of the students. When Ben comes to Amber's rescue, he isn't prepared for the strong attraction he feels for Amber. What a SHIFTACULAR & magical continual story! If you enjoy reading shifter romance with suspense and lots of action this is a great choice for your TBR list. I highly recommend you read part two of this book. I'm excited to read the next part to the story.

This book is a serialized story, so each part is short, but there is lots of things that happen in this part. I am really enjoying this story. It takes place on a college campus, where hard working, swim athlete, polar bear shifter, Ben, meets Amber, a curvy red head among all the tall, skinny blondes. There is lots of chemistry between them. Also, in this part, Amber gets kidnapped, so there is also lots of suspense. Emerald Wright has done a great job developing the characters and the storyline. This part ends in a big cliffhanger, so my only problem is having to wait for the next part, but I know it will be worth it. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced copy, and I highly recommend it.

Ben and Amber's story continues in this second short book. Each part is a quick read that ends on a cliffhanger. You definitely want to read them in order.
Ben is a polar bear shifter and he was raised to really respect women. I loved in the first book how he stood up for Amber when she was teased by others about her body. Amber really feel for him and so did the reader.
I really like the characters and this part has a lot of action and romance.They have great chemistry and want to explore it in this second part of the story but he is also cautious and wants to keep focused on school. It gets complicated in this part when someone else places Amber in danger. It will leave you eager to read part three.

Part two of the story gets the story really going. We get to see Amber and Ben's relationship grow stronger. But just when things seem to be going great things change in an instant.
The cliffhanger just kills you. But the story gets better in part two. I just love the sass and how strong the character of Amber is. And Ben is willing to do anything to keep her his and safe.

This continues Ben and Amber's story. She has accepted he's a polar bear shifter, but danger still surrounds them, it comes feom who they suspect, but he has a doozy of a secret, so getting Amber free alive will be very, very tricky !! If possible at all !! Short read and ends on a huge, huge cliffhanger !! Definitely read oart one first, then be prepared to read part three next to find out if Amber and Ben get their hapoily ever after . I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

Do you ever read a book and when you get to end keep trying to turn the page, hoping there will be more story there? I know the book is part of a series - but I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!
The story continues to draw you in. I wasn't expecting the twist things took when Amber goes missing and I enjoyed being kept on my toes.

Part two picks up right where part one ended and then ends in a cliffhanger of its own. This is a short installment that takes about an hour to read. Amber and Ben are getting real close in their relationship. She is okay with the fact he's a shifter and even wants to see his bear. Before that can happen though, she's kidnapped. Who exactly is her kidnapper? Amber and Ben are in for a shock when they find out. I can't wait for part three to find out what happens next!

This book is a quick read and again Emerald Wright rock it!
Ben and Amber's relationship is developing perfectly, but this causes jealousy in Ben's teammate, Rex, who ends up acting to disrupt their love.
The end of the story made me tense, I'm anxious for the next part.

Ben and Amber are getting to know each other. Another member of Ben's swim team is stalking her and kidnaps her. Rex is a reptile shifter of some sort. Ben and his roommate Jason find Amber but she is unconscious. This is a cliffhanger which I hate because I can't wait for part three but I have too. Lol

Love the interaction between the H and h. Love the secondary people too like the other shifters mixed in. Love the descriptions. Ends in a major cliffhanger but we were warned in advance.

Before I had listen to this book I went and listen to book one to refresh my memory of what I had already read in this series. I truly love this series and so looking forward to book 3. I had listen to the audio of this book and had followed along in the ebook using whispersync. It truly is an amazing experience to read a book this way. This book is not a standalone. You should read book one before reading this book.
I have to say there were some surprises in this book that I was not expecting. Great job Emerald Wright. I love when a book can catch me off guard. The story I give a 5 stars were the narrator I give a 4 star. Let me explain my reason. I am very picky when it comes to male narrators. I like when one can change voices for each character and do well doing the voice of the opposite sex. I did not get that with this audio but that does not mean he was not pleasant to listen to. I did enjoy listening to his voice as he read the book.
Amber had a lot to take in. Here she was finding out that the guy she was falling for was a shifter, a polar bear shifter. I tried to picture all the emotions she was feeling and think she handled it very well. She found someone that loved her curves. He loved who she was from the inside out. Most men are not like that. I loved how she returned that favor. She loved him for the man she was getting to know. It did not matter that he was a shifter.
Ben was truly an amazing guy. He was on the swim team and doing this best to get through college. He had hopes and dreams. He never dreamed that he would find his mate so early in life, but here she was and he was not going to let her slip through his fingers.
I love how over protected Ben was. It did not matter if it was girls bullying Amber or if it was someone on his swim team harassing her. He wanted to keep her safe and protect her from not only danger but from the jerks out there.
Danger is just around the corner. Life is held in the balance. Are you wonder who’s? Maybe you are wonder how they are in danger? Well I guess you will have to read or listen to the book to find out. Like I said the author has a few surprises along the way.
Truly a great story and so happy I got a chance to enjoy this book. So looking forward to book 3. FIY, the author will leave you hanging and wanting more. Yeah, I soooo need book 3 right now.
