And then there is the pseudo D/s shit he brings in. Seriously speaking every time i hear of this lifestyle I think of controlling emotionally abusive men is camouflaging it in the name of sensuality and while I may be wrong because since I don’t know anything about that lifestyle actively, this guy is exactly that.
He loves his power and he can get away with it by naming it sex.
Also this was under 20 heroine paired with 40+ hero, which was just gagworthy.
Heroine’s mother had it spot on that there is and always will be imbalances of power!
Also I don’t give a shit if he has already warned the heroine that he takes women out to social functions, that can only happen if you’re not in a relationship!
This guy took an OW out on a charity date and was shocked heroine believed the media about his engagement? Why couldn’t he take the heroine?
That was the dodgiest thing EVER!

This had a lot of the elements I love -
short, sexy, older man/younger woman....I was really enjoying it until
I also didn't feel that great connection between the hero and heroine. The one sex scene was hot but he wouldn't even let her touch him until it was almost over.
I am curious about Kostas and I'm going to look into his story next. Hopefully I'll feel a better connection.

I'm confused on how to really rate this and what to say because I liked the book up until the last chapter where it just ended and left me scratching my head. Yes, there is an epilogue five years later but all that answers is that the couple worked out.
DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS
Cait works for Antonio's family at a cafe they own and he's also her dad's boss. She's been in love with him forever but he never even noticed her until one day some douche tries to get to handsy with her at the cafe. When he sees that, he realizes he wants to be with her. Cool. Everything going fine. They decide to work on them first as a couple before they tell her parents. Cool again. I get it.
She's a virgin, on date 2 She gives it to him. Again, cool she's loved him forever I don't care if it's insta love I'm good with it.
Date 3 gets cancelled because Antonio needs to head to a charity event so he'll call her later. Well here is my WTF moment. Her BFF calls her about a website that shows him at a charity event with another girl and that girl is Antonio's fiancé. Cait gets upset and her and the BFF go out clubbing at one of his families clubs. She gets shitfaced (understable he sounds like a douche). Well his cousins call him, not only that but her BFF is a cops daughter and they're only 20 so they got called to get the girls out of the club. Antonio shows up mad, she yells at him for the fiancé thing. He takes her out, she gets sick and before they can talk and we can find out who this chick is and WHY he went with her Cait's parents show up. They yell at him, get her out there, and she goes home crying. The next day her BFF sends her a link that shows the fiancé was a hoax. Says nothing else, why was she there with him???
He ignores her the whole day, the next day she heads to work and gets attacked by the handsy guy. Antonio saves her and is with her st the hospital. Again, no talk about anything. She gets discharged and tells the parents she's going home with him.
5 years later they're having a baby. What! What! What! I don't like that we were ever told Who the Fuck was this girl was to him and WHY was she with him at that event!!! Also, the start of the relationship was good but that is all we get. Just the start. No explanations, not words of him saying how she's the one, no apologies. Nothing.
Other than that it was good. Ok.

Mia Madison is a new author for me I first read My Dad's Boss when I received an ARC of it and I absolutely loved it so I wanted to read her other books. I've read three others since the ARC and I've really enjoyed all three of them so I'm hoping she keeps writing. Her H have all been sexy as hell older men and they are all swoon worthy although so far Antonio is my favorite. Caitlyn is a virgin, college student, she works at Revved a coffee shop next to an auto garage owned by Victor Adamo. Cait has a huge crush on her boss' cousin, Antonio Adamo who also happens to be her Dad's boss and a lot older than her. When a slimy customer propositions her at work Antonio comes to her rescue. She flirts with him but he makes it clear that nothing can happen because of their age difference and her Dad. Cait is pissed off and her feelings are hurt because she can see that Antonio wants her also. When his cousin Vic expresses interest in Caitlyn Antonio realizes if he doesn't make a move than someone else will. Will Antonio make a move on Caitlyn or will someone else get to her first ?

Second read as good as the first. Om is the bad guy who attacks the h. Ow is someone who went to the charity gala with the H, didn't last long. Few hours apart. Little push/pull. Great read.

Sweet and very innocent Catie works for the Adamo family (.....all of which are at least 11+ on the scale of 1-10 in the looks department, don't get me started on their personalities and their charms) She has dreamed of and even saved herself for Antonio (aka Tonio.) he of course does not know this because she feels he doesn't know she exists. He is older than her, and here is a little bit of a kicker, her dad works with/for him...not awkward or anything, right?!?!?!
Antonio is an Adamo, plain and simple, he is hot, he has money, he belongs to a LARGE family....and he notices this gorgeous girl one day while being in his cousins garage/bar/coffee shop. He of course knows who she is and always has, he just doesn't act on it because she is the daughter of an employee, a darned good employee. But he can't ignore this forever.....
His cousins, Vic and Sal, who own the shop Revved are in the back working on the cars. Cait being preoccupied spills and upsets a jerk, I mean customer. He is propositioning Cait and she is not ok with this, Jerk man causes a scene. Tonio is there and tries to stop it, and Cait is told to get Vic and Sal, who will finish taking care of this jerk. (Did I also mention that the Adamo men take care of their employees. thinking of them as family, especially the girls.) Well Vic and Tonio do take care of Cait. However the jerk is threating her as he is being tossed out and banned from Revved. Then something happens, something small at first but it really is a sign of upcoming things, which is much worse. Vic basically pushes Tonio's hand with Cait. Now this is the getting good part.
Tonio has a darker side to him, but not one that many see, this is a darker side reserved for his "someone special" and Cait tops that list. She is completely innocent and "pure" so she doesn't quite understand....YET that is. Tonio will show her and she will love it more than she realized. They quickly agree this is right, and they agree they want to be together. But you know the twist that happened earlier, yeah there are events that spark from that and there are little twists going on while this is brewing. Someone is going to get hurt. Is it just their heart being hurt or is it more? Could it even be both? It might be, but if I tell you about the little twists it will turn into me telling you more and more, and you really want to read this book and find out all the juicy details and follow the twists on your own, because it is that good!

Exciting and full of drama, this older man younger woman Romance is such a great read. Cait has loved Antonio since she was old enough to know what love is, but Antonio os her dads boss and quite a bit older than her and on top of everything else does not really know her. Well written with plenty of steam this story was fantastic

God,it was the sweetest book and hell the sexiest book I've ever read.
The author wrapped up everything in a way too short book,and I loved EVERY SINGLE word.
I loved everything about Antonio and his italian endearment.
I just wish it was a little bit longer I just read it in one read for 2 to 3 hours.
I want more books like this,and hell I'm having a hard time finding them.

Heartfelt story. I loved it!
Antonio Adamo was one hot man. He turned heads and landed straight into Cait's heart. He was twice her age but she was in love. This was a real tear jerker. Keep the tissues handy.

This was a fast paced story. Antonio and Caitlin did not let age, others opinion or misunderstanding come between them. Overall enjoyable read with a little fright. The sex scenes were 🔥and a little kink.

This was a great story with the potential to be amazing. The ending was so abrupt and jarring that I was left feeling very disappointed. The writing and the characters were interesting enough that I am excited to read the 2nd book, though I am hoping that it flows a little more smoothly.

Loved this book. One of my favourite stories to read is older men younger woman, especially one that’s a rough and possessive alpha male. The storyline was exciting and entertaining, and I loved the characters. Can’t wait to read book 2 in this series. A great read.

Really enjoyed this story was able to sit and relax through the whole thing was a little irritated about the use of babe with Tonio but didn’t hinder the story
