Out in the Badlands of space there are fortunes to be made, wrongs to be righted and fights to be won. Victor finds himself on the planet Lomond wedged between communist slavers, starving children and a powder keg waiting to be lit.
I am loving this series. I love how the relationship between the two main characters is growing and how they are getting closer and closer. I do like how the book isn't just focused on them two and it's talking about the other parts, like the current battle, the other characters, like the preacher, miller, and more. I recommend this series and definitely will be reading these again!
The saga continues, and we learn more about the necron soldiers. I find it still gets bogged down a bit in dialog but Strong tries hard to paint a descriptive tableau of the day to day life in his creations. Looking forward to #5
On the planet of Lomond , communist slavers and children try to keep hope in becoming free from the Mighty Davin who gets joy from killing and starving the people who work hard for him. Victor has no choice but to help and also get a reward in return, the comedy and seriousness never fails in this series:) 2 more left in the series:)
