My name is Eira Donovan. I died when I was seventeen. A century later, I was brought back to life. When Eira opened her eyes, she was in a world she couldn’t recognize. Unable to remember her own name or even the color of her eyes, Eira must trust the doctors when they tell her she has been frozen for a century. Nothing is familiar until the day Eira sees Andrew. Without a doubt, she knows they knew each other a hundred years ago. Together they must face this new world and the changing tides that make life dangerous for their “kind.”

Best Dystopian Read of 2017

I can't adequately describe the depth of my feeling for this story. I couldn't put it down or stop the tears from flowing at the end. It has all the elements I love- a dystopian future, an uprising, mystery and a true love story with multiple facets. Bridget Nash is one of those hidden gems of an author who deserves way more attention, so please read this book!

FREAKING LOVE!!! A crazy scary dystopia that looks pretty on the outside but is just covering a very ugly truth!

I knew the basics going into this goodness, and was so not expecting the story that we get here! Eira, the main character, is fascinating to follow. I completely understand her view of what is happening, but at the same time, completely understand the view of the other characters in the story. It is a very strange fence to sit on! The characters that we meet and become attached to are fantastic! They are all beautiful people in their own way, and some of their thoughts and view points are profound and really make you think, deep thought thinking! There was one point in the book that rocked me so much, I had to close the book and stop and ponder it for a bit. I shared it with other people I knew, with them having the same reaction that I had when reading it.

I couldn't even imagine waking up in the situation that some of these characters wake up to. Having no idea about anything or anyone around you! It would be crazy, scary, exciting, overwhelming! So many emotions are brought up here and the different way people would react to their situation and the life they are waking up to. Some things that would not even have dawned on me.

It's very hard to write a review for a book like this. To try to explain what it is about, more than the blurb, risks ruining some of the story, and the set up, and the beautiful way the story unfolds for you. The author's writing style is beautiful and gripping. A wonderful stand alone novel that leaves you satisfied yet still wanting more.

Wonderful Book!

I gobbled up this book in a few hours! I loved every single minute. The reason for the title opened my eyes to think of a Bible story differently than I ever have in the past. Characters are outstanding. Flow of story is outstanding. I am only mad about one thing... The next book is not here yet😕
