Hannah is in NYC for the holidays to help her friend Caroline with a charity party. When World famous drummer Johnny Knox walks into her shop to get measured for a tux the sparks are flying all over.
Hannah doesn't have time for more than a "one and done" and she certainly doesn't have time for some conceited rockstar player. But when a mix-up leads to them sharing an apartment for the week those sparks may very well turn into a four-alarm fire...
This was a sweet and well written little holiday novella. Rockstar books usually are not my thing. Too much groupie and OW drama, and while this did have some of that, Jack came across as a pretty decent guy. He was NO saint, but since he became famous at 18 and was now 30, some extracurricular activities were to be expected. Luckily he wasn't paired with a blushing virgin. Hannah was a strong heroine, that had her fair share and ONS. In fact, that is what she usually preferred.
As I said, this was fairly short and basically insta-love, but packed a decent amount of plot into those few pages. You also get a little glimpse of some other couples that are from previous books. I will add that I wished this had an epilogue or SOMETHING. We are kind of left with an HFN scenario that seemed a little abrupt to me. Not much else to say, just a really enjoyable way to spend a couple hours. Two thumbs up from yours truly.

I liked this book a lot! And I LOVED the heroine!!!

Yeah, I love my heroines strong and sassy, sometimes badass but human; and I have no problem with my heroines being no virgins and not related to Mother Teresa!
My girl Hannah here was one-and-done kind of girl; not a slut, but not a nun either.
I preferred to have men eat me out like I was on a platter and then walk away the next day with my heart well in tact, thank you very much.
When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
She was a strong talented hard-working young woman, she lived her work/her passion and wasn’t looking for the relationship.
The hero/Jack – sexy drummer of a popular rock band – wasn’t a shy pubescent altar-boy, but also not an over-the-top-playboy. He slept around, mostly in his young years, but he wasn’t a disgusting manwhore.
I loved how he chased and wooed the heroine. He was instantly smitten and drooled over her till the end. And I loved it! *wink*

Safety note:
I liked how the heroine took the situation with H’s ex-gf drama. No crying, no swearing, cool as a cucumber – she was sad of course, but played it well.
I liked how the hero hurt and how he tried to win her back.
I loved their interaction with foster kids – I loved their kindness and humanity.
“Mom tattoos” almost made me cry.
I enjoyed their dialogs without unnecessary drama and cheesyness.
I respected the heroine because she didn’t run away but gave him a second chance (yeah, girls, little ol’ me – not-a-second-chance-gal – believed in their insta-love and was ready to forgive him!)
“Because I can’t get enough of you, Hannah. Can’t you tell? You’re not a type. There’s only one of you. You’re unique.”
And I freaking loved Jack’s performance at the end!

As I stated before I'm a sucker for Christmas stories and this novella did not disappoint me at all. I loved Jack and Hannah as a couple. Hannah was sassy and didn't bend over backwards to please Jack because he's a famous drummer. It was nice to see a heroine who wasn't looking for love and the happily ever after. She was career focused and had goals she wanted to accomplish. Jack isn't your typical rock star drummer. Granted he has had his slew of women but there is another side to him and it was nice to see that side. I liked the banter of these two and I found myself cracking up several times. The sex scenes were scorching hot!! Whenever I hear "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carey I will think of Jack. Sighs. I loved that this story took place in NYC. There's no better place to be then here during Christmas time. This book will surely put you in the Christmas spirit and having you looking for your own holiday romance.

Loved it! I have to say that I loved both Jack and Hannah and thoroughly enjoyed their story. This is the first story I've read by this author and I am planning to try more of her work in the future.
FYI, on my Kindle, this story ended at the 58% mark.
Hannah is a clothing designer that lives in Oregon. She's curvy with a strong personality and doesn't let anyone push her around, especially men. Hannah is concentrating on her career right now and has a "one-and-done" rule when it comes to men.
Jack Miller is the real name of Johnny Knox, the drummer for a huge rock band named Blacklist. Blacklist became popular when Jack was 18 and has continued to be big over the past 12 years. Jack got into the perks of fame (women and such) for a few years but has become bored with it in recent years.
So Hannah is BFFs with the wife of one of the rich guys putting on this charity function (for Foster kids) and she asked Hannah to be the designer for all the a-list celebrities coming to the event. Jack and his band have been asked to play at the event and participate in some other promotional stuff. Jack and Hannah meet when he shows up for a fitting. There's a strong attraction between them and Jack is all about acting on it but Hannah figures that someone that's been a rock star for 12 years must be a jerk and pushes him away. Jack's determined though and lets her know he'll be pursuing her.
It seems that fate is being kind though because that evening, they find that they were both given the keys to the same apartment to use during the event. This gives Jack a chance to woo Hannah and he makes good use of it. There is an issue with Hannah's one-and-done rule but thankfully, she doesn't use that as an unreasonable shield for long and she and Jack are able to explore things between them. The story takes place over the space of a week and Hannah and Jack take that time to enjoy each other...which quickly turns into something more serious (it is a bit of an insta-love story). There's a little drama when someone tries to cause trouble between Hannah and Jack but it didn't last long and the way Jack won Hannah back was priceless! In the end, Jack and Hannah are happy and heading towards a very Merry Christmas (and HEA) together.
I just loved this story. TBH, I didn't think I was going to like this story as much as I did but I was very pleasantly surprised. Hannah was a strong woman that didn't let her strength interfere with happiness and I liked her a lot. Jack was such a sweety and I just loved him (he got added to my book-boyfriend list). Overall, the characters and story were great, sucking me in and completely engaging me in the story. I'd definitely recommend this Christmas romance. :D

Callie Harper is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. There is something about her books I love. They are cute, but not too cute and make me feel giddy.
Jack and Hannah hit it off from the second they meet. Well, in a weird but comical way. Hannah knows all about Jack and his bad boy rick star ways. She works with famous people all the time, dressing them for events, so she knows his type.
Jack is a drummer for one of the most famous bands in the world. Being in the band has it's perks, including lots of women, but Jack sees something in Hannah he really likes. She is different from the groupies he is usually with. Her sassy attitude and snark comments keep him on his toes. Their chemistry is electric and they seem to have the best time being together.
Since this was a novella, it was a very quick but fun read for me. I loved it and can't want to read more from Callie !!

Unwrapped was a hot Christmas read that definitely put me into the holiday spirit. Callie Harper knows how to write a book that is full of steamy and romantic moments that make you wish that you were part of the story.
Jack Miller or also known as Jonny Knox is the drummer for the band Blacklist. He is completely different from what I was expecting because he was a sweet guy that had a very sexy side to him.
Hannah has been given the chance of a lifetime when she is given the opportunity to design the outfits for own of New Yorks most famous Christmas parties. Hannah is a very talented fashioning designer and I love the way that she describes the reasons why she wants to design clothes. Hannah was such a fun character that I really enjoyed.

Short, Sexy and Sweet!
Now if there ever needed to be a full novel about a couple, this is it! What a tease Callie Harper was with this quick story about Jack and Hanna. In just the few pages they had, I absolutely loved them.
Like the rest of the Beg For It boys, Jack had his dominate side, but I could tolerate it, as well as the insta-love. Not one of my favorite things, however this couple pulled it off beautifully. They met each other at the right place and the right time in thier lives.
As the drummer for Blacklist, Jack has had his fair share of women, lots of groupies, but at thirty he's finally looking for something more. Hanna seemed to fit that bill. She looks totally rock and roll, but deep down is a romantic at heart. They were the perfect fit, even with a little bit of his past leaking in to give us some angst along the way.
Well written from dual points of view, Unwrapped is a sweet, steamy read and actually left me wanting to know more of what happens with Jack and Hannah. It was a treat that the story centers around the Kavanaugh family Christmas party, so we also catch up with a few of them real quick too.

A drummer, a fashion designer and a week in New York during Christmas what do you get? One steamy and sassy holiday novella with cameos from other characters from the Beg for It series.
Johnny Knox rockstar drummer meets Hannah Hunt up and coming designer and dress maker he is knocked out by the curvy beauty. Hannah is not afraid her brassy self but that what he likes the most. What do they indulge in themselves and the all the holiday festivities the city has to offer. The chemistry was sizzling between these wo the attraction was intense. During the week they have it seems like there could be more if our Hannah would be more open to this famous broody rocker.
A short novella but packs everything into one delightful story, filled with holiday romance, fab characters and funny moments. More Jack and Hannah would be great! I enjoy Callie Harper's writing style and story telling. Can't see what's next.

Seriously! There is so much sizzle packed into this Christmas Novella. 'Tis the season for romance and some dirty, hot n' steamy sex!
Hannah is in town helping out her BFF, Caroline, by designing and outfitting the some of the elite guests that will be attending the Annual Kavanaugh Christmas party. When Johnny Knox walks through the door, all she wants to do is undress him. Hannah is normally the "one and done" kind of gal, but Johnny ( Jack) tries his hardest to change her mind. This Rock n' Roll icon will stop at nothing to convince her to give them a shot.
These two are so hot, you will have no problems keeping your toes, or anything else for that matter, warm! Their chemistry will warm you through and through.
It is no secret that Callie Harper is one of my favourite authors, and she just keeps raising the bar! I would totally recommend this hot n' steamy Christmas Novella to warm you up on these cold December nights.

Cute short read. I liked both main characters, they had gumption. I liked Hannah…spirited, sexy and just plain awesome. Jack was adorable and when he had his eye on the prize, that was all he strove for. He wanted his woman and he was gonna get her. Lol…anyway…very cute read.

Hannah is Carolines best friend and with that friendship comes perks –but this girl has no room or time for relationships. Get it and move on is usually what she does. Making his best attempt to try and get to know her better, Hannah shoots him down with various stints of banter that are pretty funny. Being the drummer for The Blacklist does have its perks and this woman telling him no is a new thing for him. Sassy and all the right stuff in all the right places – oh heck yes. Determined to find her again, he heads out to his friend Ash’s apartment plotting his next move on the hot designer.
No more because this is short and sweet. But the timing of a certain guy and a certain girl ends up being hilarious. I don’t really have much background on these characters but I did like the story and enjoyed the back and forth between the two.

Unwrapped is a holiday novella from Callie Harper and is part of her Beg For It series but can absolutely be read as a standalone. I enjoyed this sassy read and liked its holiday touches.
Unwrapped gives us the story of Hannah and Jack-aka Johnny Knox, the drummer from a popular band. Hannah is a fashion designer and has taken on the task of dressing some celebrities for a charity event where the band is performing. I liked these characters. I liked that Hannah was smart and sassy. Jack was hot and sexy and definitely had good rhythm-both behind the drums and with Hannah. The supporting characters here helped tell the story of Hannah and Jack; they didn’t get in the way with their own stories which I appreciated. The holiday aspect of this novella made it a little more fun to read during the holiday season.
If you’re looking for a sassy novella with a holiday feel to it I would recommend this book. It certainly had steam and heart to it in just the right balance.

Unwrapped gives us the story of Hannah and Jack-aka Johnny Knox, the drummer from a popular band. Hannah is a fashion designer and has taken on the task of dressing some celebrities for a charity event where the band is performing. I NEED to Unwrap me a Jack for Christmas!!!
Callie Harper has done it....once again!! I couldn't wait to read this most recent addition to the Beg For It series, and I was definitely NOT disappointed! Jack and Hannah are right up there with my faves Declan and Kara & Colt and Caroline (who happens to be Hannah's bestie from Redwood Bay!)
Jack (aka Johnny Knox of The Blacklist band, headed by another fave Ash Black!) Miller is the drummer for the band...he's also one of the hottest, deep-down Alpha's of all the men in this series!! "You're mine, Hannah...we're not one and done. You're mine" Hannah Hunt, fashion designer extraordinaire, has a "one and done" policy when it comes to men...except the fates have a little surprise in store for her, throwing Jack in her path, and changing BOTH their lives, for good!

This is my first book I have read by this author and now I am hooked! I loved this sexy novella. I will definitely be reading her other books.
Jack is a super hot, drummer who is also an awesome guy. When he meets the beautiful Hannah, he is stunned by how attracted he is to her. She isn’t the usual type of groupie he usually entertains. She is curvy, smart, and has a mind of her own.
Hannah has been given the opportunity of a lifetime to design dresses for her best friend’s husband’s Christmas charity party. She certainly isn’t expecting to get all hot and bothered over a rock star. But that is what happens when Jack comes strolling in for his suit fitting.
Hannah only does one nightstands but Jack is relentless and won’t take no for answer. He won’t let her go once he has had a night with her.
This book was sweet, sexy, and scorching hot. Hannah and Jack were perfect!
I definitely recommend this book to read.

What an awesome Christmas present for faithful, and new, fans of Callie Harper! Unwrapped is the first book I've read by this author but it definitely won't be my last because I one clicked the entire series when I finished the book. How did I not know about this fabulous author? What red blooded woman doesn't dream about catching the eye of a rock star? When Hanna and Jack spend an evening together she finds out he's nothing like his on stage persona, Johnny Knox, and without her even realizing it, he quickly becomes everything she's looking for in a man. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts and their relationship is magic right from the start. This book made me blush over and over again but trust me, I got over it quickly and finished this steamy Christmas romance in one delightful sitting. This is a 5 star read. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I love a great Christmas story. I love Callie Harper's writing style. I so so loved In Deep #1 & "Unbelievable". I will be reading more of her books soon enough. The cover pulled me in. So perfect. Always love a great Christmas story. If you have never read her work please check this one out & begin at the perfect start to her works of art. You will love it. Must read. Couldn't put it down... Who doesn't want to be Unwrapped by a hot, sexy rocker like Jack!
Hannah is a strong character and I absolutely love to see that in a fun and sassy romance. Jack is your typical rock star who doesn't have any interest in a commitment until he meets the likes of Hannah. The chemistry was instant, with little angst or drama in them getting to know each other. It almost seemed a little too easy for them, but that can happen when you know things are right.
This was a quick, hot and sexy read that is perfectly timed for the holidays! I have a three other books of Callie's that I look forward to reading.

Hannah is in town to help her BFF organise and Annual Christmas event. Jack is the drummer in a rock band, who is used to getting any women he wants. These two have an instant, intense, electric, chemistry from first sight. No spoilers from me though, you really need to read this for yourself!
I love Callie’s unique writing style and the way in which she hooks and intrigues me throughout her books. This is a quick and fun read. I recommend this authors work for all, and cannot wait to read more from her.

The Drummer of Blacklist Jack is learning that life is ore than groupies and partying. Now that Ash is settled he is wondering if he could have that, or maybe it's just the holiday's that are doing that to him.
Hannah, is a no relationship kind of in your face type of woman. She knows who she is and owns it like no other. I like that about her, she isn't a rail skinny woman but a woman with curves and dresses to accentuate all of them.
This is a great holiday read, you have insta-heat, insta passion and yeah a not so insta love but you will instantly fall in love with Jack and Hannah, because this romance filled with passion and fun is what you want while warming by the fire and a glass of wine. Both Jack, well, no Jack realizes that he has found his one a bit faster than Hannah, loving every moment of it.
Hannah is simply fighting the inevitable which for me makes the book much more exciting, A woman being chased by the drummer she drooled over? Yeah a romance worth reading.

OMGoodness! I loved this story!
This is my first time reading anything by Callie Harper....and at this time of year a Christmas backdrop story is extra special.
Callies' writing has an easy flow, a bit of an attitude and the sex scenes... (whew) are very descriptive.
Hannah is a no nonsense retro chick. She comes to NYC to design some clothes for a big gala.
Jack (aka Johnny Knox) the drummer for one of Hannahs' favorite bands, Blacklist, show's up in Hannahs studio for a fitting.
When their eyes meet, sparks fly!
She's a sassy and confident. ..He's unaccustomed to hearing the word, "No".

Something that I have come to expect with a Callie Harper book is that heat and chemistry will drip from the pages! Unwrapped is a holiday novella, but we still get great characters and great chemistry between them! We get to know them too in this short novella which isn't always easy to do in a shorter story. And of course we get to see some of our favorite series characters back for brief cameos in this book. Jack was such a great hero. I loved that he was Johnny in the band, but wanted Hannah to know Jack Miller, not Johnny Knox from the band. From the beginning they knew they could have something special. I loved how Jack professed his love to Hannah too at the end. It was so awesome! Great holiday read! Loved it!

What a lovely holiday novella by the extremely talented Callie Harper. This book can be read as a standalone or as part of the Beg For It series.
This story introduces us to Jack aka Johnny Knox and Hannah. I instantly fell in love with Hannah; her attitude to life was on point and a definite role model...if only she wasn't fictional. She was strong, independent and although there was a slight wobble in the emotions department, she came through for me and common sense prevailed. Jack was such a lovely character, he played the role of successful rocker so well, but around Hannah he was like a love struck teenage and ad honest as the day is long.
Overall a lovely heart warming read, and for me another series to add to my tbr list. Five fantastic stars.

Jack and Hannah story is a steamy read from the start. Great quick read. Jack is the drummer for Blacklist and Hannah is a designer. When he comes in for a fitting he is overwhelmed with need for her. When They both end Up staying at the same apartment of Ash's the lead singer in the band sparks do more then fly. Jack is funny, sweet and falls hard for Hannah. Hannah is stalraight forward, funny and unique. 5 stars of Christmas Love.

He’s attentive, direct and he has the rhythm Hannah has always wondered about. They fall fast and hard for each other. It is not a straight line to love, there are misunderstandings that threaten them, but that makes the story all the better.
I discovered Callie Harper’s writing this year and plan to ring in the new year with her great characters.

Such a cute, fun, sexy story! I loved that it takes place during the holidays - it was the perfect time of year to read it. I hadn't read any of the other books in this series, so I wasn't familiar with any of the cast of characters, but that really didn't take away from anything for me. Loved the main characters and the sparks that flew between them! Super steamy sex scenes mixed with sweet and funny moments. The perfect mix! The perfect quick read!

This is a Xmas Novel with Jack the rockstar and Hannah the fashion designer.Hannah is so true to herself not afraid to speak her mind and what she believes in when she meets Jack goes flying out the window,all rules have changed.I loved the passion they shared with each other,its hotter then hot.Callie definitely knows how to draw you into her characters and give you all the feels.I would love to hear more about Jack and Hannah.
