Four paths crossed was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. Ok, some of the story line was good , such as when they are in the hotel with Professor Black. But the brothel hotel scene just didn't do it for me. Maybe because of how the Madame wasn't fazed by them being FBI
guys once the whole it's not Lauren thing was cleared up. Or maybe I found it offensive.
But back to the writing he really should have this edited. There are still many little writing errors . For instance in Chapter one as they are leaving their motel.

He made his way out and exited the motel. There was a Seven-Eleven, then he moved on.

First its 7-Eleven, and second what about it? Why mention it in the first place? If they stopped and grabbed some snacks and drinks for the road and he added that , that would have made sense.

I liked the back story on the Prime in the Bermuda triangle, and the other alien race having manipulated the mammal that was our progenitor was a great idea. Plays well with an explanation for how we are so different from modern apes today even though genetically we are 99% identical.

I enjoyed this book. We finally get to meet the mysterious Professor Black. I wasn't surprised that he was a Prime. I was surprised at who he had on his side though. I must continue the series to find out why the Primes split into factions.

This is really cool!!!

J.D Stonebridge is really talented when it comes to creating supernatural stories. I have read one of his book before about angels and devils and I am telling you it was superb. You cannot put the book down. And this one is really cool as well. It is battling against powerful prime versus human. And one more thing about this guys creation is the sense of humour. You won't get bored reading this book because of the very interesting story lines and full of fun and excitement scenes where the main character try to figure out how to go against his enemies. This book is probably a keeper and hoping to get the next book so I will know what is going to happen to Tony and Lance and their fight against evil.

I enjoyed this one just a little more than the others so I would probably give it a 3.5 star. I like how we are finally getting some answers to some question that have been bothering me since book one. I think that this series is interesting I just wish that there was a little more substance in each book.
