Good beginner book. Excellent description of the source and scope of the Mediterranean way to eat. The basics for pantry staples, cooking techniques, food pyramid and benefits are well written and easily comprehendible . I look forward to trying the recipes and expanding my cooking options.

I loved reading this book! It was a great short and sweet read of the rundown on what a Mediterranean diet and lifestyle are. I hate how so many diets constantly require the elimination of certain foods or even entire food groups. This has taught me how well I can eat while still enjoying a bit of everything but just being mindful of the frequency of when I eat particular types of foods
