I guess I'll be the cheese that stands alone, but I could not with this book.

I found the writing simple, the scene transitions choppy, the characterizations thin, and some disbelief in illogical character actions.

Also kept getting yanked out by grammatical errors and incorrect word usage, i.e. 'bazaar' is used when 'bizarre' or sentences where words are missing etc.

This one's in the negative ratings for me....I abhor this kind of sexism.

He was in love with her and had been for 7 years BUT chose to stay with his girlfriend at that time (and for years) as well as all his many girlfriends over the years rather than be with the heroine. He said each time that he had a good thing going with whatever girlfriend he was with at the time so he didn't bother trying to go for the heroine. Yeah that speaks great love story. Sleazebag.

He preferred long term girlfriends because he wanted sex on tap readily available. Yes, that's what he chose for the 7 years he loved the heroine, you know, rather than go after the heroine. Some alpha he is!

And she had long term boyfriends but remained a VIRGIN because she only wanted him. Absolute sexist double standard. She is 24. He of course loves that she saved herself for him because she was his and always had been, yeah that why he was sticking it to multiple OW rather than be with her. Weak ass.

"His possession of Bean didn’t sit right with me and now I know why. My chest swells with even more pride that my girl will never be the chocolate he gets to experiment with. She did right by not letting him have what’s mine and will only be mine from here on out. Shit, it always has been."

Yeah, but it never ever stopped him from giving every other woman what was "hers" for years.

"I was in a relationship already and things were good with me and Jackie"

"Bean was nineteen and a fucking knock out, but I had a good thing going with Renee....I ended up being with Renee for three years"

"I have destroyed more than a few pussies without much effort. It’s just a hazard of the ride. If you want it, beware, I plan to give it. Problem is, I love sex, but I’m not into random sex. This is why I usually stay in a relationship. I need to be able to fuck on demand."

You see the pattern....sounds like he really loved the heroine right (heavy with sarcasm).

Enough with the outdated cringeworthy sexist Mills&Boon crap. He gets to fuckaround with multiple women for years and only when HE decides he's ready does HE finally breakup with another girlfriend to go after the heroine who's been frozen in limbo for him. She caves immediately. What a doormat. Eye roll.

Kick him to the curb honey and embrace that we're in 2019 not 1919!

From the time they were kids, Noah Blake and Rebecca "Bean" Lockhart were the best of friends. Noah was fiercely protective of Bean and Bean was equally protective of Noah, it didn't stop the growing pains though with a five year difference that had them experiencing different stages of life. Still close, Noah has finally admitted to himself he loves Bean, there is no other woman for him. However Bean is in a relationship with someone else which is pulling Noah and Bean apart.

Bean knew Noah was going to be the love of her life, she just thought it would always be one sided. She couldn't have been more wrong, she misreads the subtle clues Noah is giving her. It is only a matter of time before they figure it out.

This was a bit different because the story takes off in a unique way. Can't wait or book three. I liked that Bean and Noah were good friends and it took awhile before they both got on the same page. Love the cover, if you like a good romance that you can just huddle down and savor, tis one is perfect for that.

Words cannot express how much I love this story!

This is an epic love story that is told so well you feel the love and root for the couple from the beginning to the end.
It starts from their childhood and adolescence and continues all the way through until their relationship ends in their marriage, I loved how all the characters intertwine with each other and you get a feeling about the next book and characters that are going to appear in it, it's just so exciting to read!
I love all Blue Saffire's books and the way they transport you into Blue's world, it's a wonderful world she let's us be a part of, and I literally cannot wait until the next instalment. This book is a brilliant story a must read, if you haven't started reading Blue Saffire's books start now!

Style: Interracial Romance
Story: 4/5
Sexual: SEX-CITINGLY GOOD
Enjoyment: 4/5
Type: Possessive and Childhood Crush
Series: Book 2

I liked that the author transition us from kids, to teenagers to adults with Noah and Bean’s aka Rebecca. I fell in love with their story and to see how long they both had feelings for each other but the timing was never right.

When they finally came together, I love their love. Reading the first book, Wyatt’s story, the author recreated the scenes for certain parts that involved Noah and Bean telling it from the POV because I really wanted to know what that heated argument at the club was about. (Hint hint, you will need to read all the series as they are tied in together)

Overall, loving these brothers and the way they love hard. Don’t know if I will read all 7 brothers but the way this book started, I so want to read Ryan’s story.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

This is one my favourite authors and I have read all her books. Whilst I enjoyed Noah and Rebecca's story, I found the first half of their story totally frustrating. I knew that they would date other people before they acknowledged that they loved each other but I found that side to the story totally drawn out with multiple partners. I enjoyed the second half of their story which was more interesting. Definitely worth a read.

This family and THESE men! Good Lord! Please just show us where to find them already. Bean and Noah were EVERYTHING! Their love through all stages was beautiful. Gahhhhhhhh! This was sooooooo good! I mean so, so, so, so good! Noah is indeed a beast and his love for Rebecca aka Bean is transcendent! I love these two together so freaking much. From the moment he held Rebecca in his hands as a 5yr old boy, he fell in love. This has got to be, hands down, the best friends to lover, to HEA for the two main characters, that I have ever read! They were so in love with each other, it was apparent to everyone else but these two, but eventually Noah, caught on and had enough, Lol...He made his move and it was HEA for these two...The sex scenes were so hawt! And that proposal? Talk about the sweetest thing ever!!! I loved everything in this story. Again, great action, and the famous love that the Black family has for each other is awesome! I love, absolutely love, that the Black brothers have raised these women to protect themselves and they do not disappoint! These women were kicking ass and taking names, Lol. Just a Marvelous, Awesome, Stupendous, Beautiful, Hilarious, and Fantastic read! 5 glorious stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was quite disappointed in this book, not a strong addition to the series.
I just think these books are longer than need to be, we have to read Noah's POV, then Bean's POV and since it was about the same incident a lot of the information was repetitive which got real boring real fast.
There are so many typos in these two stories that it is overwhelmingly distracting.

This character is my main man, Noah Brodie Black aka The Beast. He felled in 💘 with Rebecca (Bean) when they're just kids. A lifelong friendship that turns into a relationship once both give in to their attraction and sexual chemistry. Love, 💘, loved these 📚, so far. Especially this one. On to Book #3.

3.25 stars. Repetitive. Predictable angst. Disappointing. The first book established the setting of the series as the town where the up-end private investigating and bounty hunting firm of Black and Lock is located and where the seven Black brothers and their extended family and friends would live and interact. It was also established in the first book that the Black men where 'equal opportunity lovers' that's to say, they date women of all races; but that they have an affinity for women of color and Black women in particular. I expected the appearance of characters from the first book to cameo in this book and for some of the significant events of that book to appear in this story; however, I didn't expect so much of Wyatt's and Nellie's drama and Toby's drama to unfold in this story-it was a distraction. Except for the lengthy interaction between Carmen Nash and Ryan Black, the prologue is an interesting introduction to telling the love story of Noah "the Beast" Black and Rebecca "Bean" Lockhart. The Black's father and Rebecca's father became best friends as seal team mates, after discharge they bought houses next door to each other and went into business together. When he is first allowed to pick up and hold 5-day-old Rebecca, 5-year-old Noah connects and vows to protect her. During their early childhood, Noah teaches Bean to ride a bike, play video games, collect comic books and how to fight and defend herself. At sixteen, he starts to date and then goes off to college for several years; in the interim, Bean feels abandoned by him and sad because of issues at home and Nellie moving away. When she is 17 and he is 22, at the urging of her father, Noah takes Bean to her senior prom and each is awed by the other's physical development and appeal. At this point, the reader starts being told that they are attracted to each other and that they love each other and that all the characters in the story except for them and the reader know it. Why does the reader not know and have to have the author say, these characters are in love?... because outside of their tingling and pulsating genitals there are no scenes where the two reciprocally dialogue and interact establishing a romantic emotional connection.

lemme just start this review by saying i haven't read a het romance in about three years. Maybe even longer...(when did 50 shades come out?!). Ive not been boycotting m/f couples, they just haven't been able to hold my attention. That being said. i read this synopsis and my attentioned was grabbed. It also helped that this is a kindle unlimited titled so if i hated it i wouldnt be out 6 bucks.

The thing with m/f romances for me is i have to like the lady lead more than i like their male counterpart. and boy did i love rebecka bean Lockhart. I loved what she looked like. I love what she thought and I especially loved how Noah saw her.

It takes a lot for a book to get my panties wet and this one had some hot momments . The steamy scenes was just an added bonus of a damn good story. I loved the slow build of Noah and Beans friendship to relationship. I didnt read the pervious novel and honestly its pretty stand alone if you Dont care about the minute details of whos related to who and so on (which i dont).

My one and only complaint: There was just too much drama. At 75% i was just ready for it to end. Even with that, This was a really great book to start my 2018 off with.

Releasing the Beast!!

Blue has given us another awesome book! We see the beginning of Noah and Rebecca (Bean). Their story is told so vividly. Noah's realization, why have imitations when you've had the real thing all along. Noah (the Beast) is true to his name. You see the possessive beast released protecting what is his, no matter the costs or consequences. I love how Noah and his brothers protect others that are preyed on. The unspoken bond between Noah and Rebecca, knowing what each other is thinking is felt and seen with a touch or a look into each others eyes. Noah a handsome, sexy beast, Rebecca, his woman gorgeous and sexy, protects what is hers and unselfishly protects her friends. I love how perfect they are together. Bean is perfect for the Beast as we see Bean move to her dark place. Noah and Bean have raw hot chemistry, sensual passion and a love that withstood time. This book feeds my imagination and leaves me wanting more. Blue is a talented and gifted writer. As all of Blue's books loop and interconnect, I anticipate the next Brother's Black book, their friends and extended family.

Not really their own story but I liked the book

My second book by this author. This is Noah and Bean's (Rebecca) story. They have known each other all of their lives and loved each other but it took a really long time for them to finally find each other.

Noah is the second Black brother. Bigger than the rest, he apparently isn't a hoe. Lol After trying to take a situation with his childhood best friend, Beans. He finally makes it known to her that she is "the one".

Beans apparently doesn't believe she is that beautiful. She also grew up in the home of an alcoholic. Her confidence is low but no matter what, she loves Noah.

Even though this Noah and Rebecca's story. I don't feel like it is. I feel like they had to gain their main story through Nellie and Wyatt's story, along with a few other brothers.

My other issue is that there are way too many stories with other folks that I have not read. So through most of the book, I have tried to check with the name of the characters to see if they have been in a previous book. I will email the author and ask about this.

Overall, I like the book.

Ok story a few flaws

Didn't love it but I did like it. The love story between Noah and Bean was a cute one. I love Blue Saffire 's books especially the way the female leads are written.
In my opinion you do need to read at least the Brothers Black book 1 "Wyatt the heartbreaker" to understand the characters. There are a lot of the " Black"family in the
Book and back history from book 1.
It was a good story but maybe it's my copy but a few paragraphs repeated itself, grammar issues and misspellings.
I had problems with the ending but I'm sure it will make sense in the next installment.
That being said you'll enjoy this read the second book.

Noah " Touch My Family that's a problem, touch my woman that's your life."

Bean aka Rebecca and Noah is a book that I would recommend ALL to read.

I know the Black Brother books are suppose to read in order... Well it recommended to read in order since the books intertwine. BUT me and my wanting to read Noah book because I started with Ryan's book. I was left with more question on what happen before this book, as well as I cannot wait to read Johnathan book even more.

I'm probably going to read the entire series in order, maybe if I read Wyatt book which is the 1st book of this series.... Maybe or I'll start with the first first book which Legally Bound 1.

Now for this book, Noah and Rebecca are not one to play with.

Noah will protect his family and his woman. And he really means what he says, when he says Rebecca is the queen of his Soul. and Rebecca means what she says when she says Noah is the king of her Castle.

One of my most favorite moments is when Noah is hiding info from Rebecca and she gets mad and shows him a hint of her mean streak. lol This part had me laughing because she was truly over everyone hiding things from her and the fact that Noah refuse to tell her pissed her off even more.

Another scene I love is when they're kids and Noah tells her she needs to defend herself against the bully Tommy. And that she needed to beat his butt unless she wanted to take him ( Noah ) on and he won't go easy on her. [ Noah is the one to taught her and Nelie how to fight ]. Then much to Rebecca reenactment she proceeds to beat the crap out of Tommy. lol that day he and his bully of friends learn that she was not one to be messed with.

I love this scene because it reminded me of when my brothers made me fight against a boy who was bullying me. And he told me to fight him or he's gonna fight him and then fight me afterwards. That wasn't happening so I fought the boy and that was the end of it. So i really enjoy that scene.

I love their happy ending but reading this book left me with questions which will be answer if I start from the beginning. Which I'm happy to do so. And plan on doing.

Blue Saffire is an author I found through a weekly email I get from The IR Weekly Bestseller List. I saw the synopsis for Noah The Beast on that list and wanted to check it out. As I'm researching the author, I find that this happens to be the latst book in an interwoven group of series of books. I wanted to read this book, but I hate reading out of order so I took on the task of starting from the beginning with Legally Bound I. I have become so involved with these families, and seeing how each couple's story plays out I binge read all 17 books that are out to date.
Waiting for Noah and Bean to get their story was killing me. Theirs is the love of a lifetime and no couple was better meant to be together. Add in some badass and this is a cover to cover read.  I'm so glad we finally got it and hands down my favorite of them all so far!!!!!! I love Noah and Bean!!!!!!!
I strongly recommended reading in order to get the true picture of the entire story:

Gaps in the storyline

Let me start by saying I really like this book. I finished book 1 and immediately started book 2. My only problem is, events were mentioned in this book that did not happen in book one or two which had me believing a few things. At first, I thought maybe there was a book between book 1 or 2, like a novella or short story that talks about those events and I missed it. I hate reading series out of order because I hate spoilers. I did a quick search and didn't find one. Then I thought maybe these stories are connected to another series she wrote. If that was the case why not recap it here. Finally, maybe she wanted to provide some type of closure for the readers but whatever it was left me with more questions. One example of this is her mentioning Nellie being accused of Barry's death in one of Bean’s internal monologues; what happened? WHEN did this happen? How was it resolved? Other than that I liked it. It's a fast read and I'm in love with the love Bean and Noah have.

I was really enjoying this book until the 60% mark. One of my favorite tropes is people who grow up together and fall in love as adults. This is Noah and Rebecca. The storyline was going along smoothly until some stuff that happened in book one - Wyatt- pops up. And that plot is told as if the reader has read book 1. Wrong move. It’s doing the reader a disservice. I hate books that are intricately linked to every other book an author wrote. WTF?!!! Like maybe I don’t want to read every book you wrote! Maybe some of the tropes in your other books I don’t like! Thankfully I had read Wyatt’s book already so I wasn’t lost. But then more shit happens and the author once again assumes that the reader knows the backstory. Or maybe doesn’t care. Either way it ruined the enjoyment of the rest of the book for me.

Awesome

WOW! This story will easily steal your heart. It's a powerful combination of secrets and excitement that's so full suspense and romance. I really enjoyed these characters they are so amazing and great together. When you add in the drama along with tons of emotions plus some intriguing twists and turns then you have a story that's full of feelings and so beautiful. The story is great and it's suspenseful . The Family is spectacular and their relationship is loads of romance and great character development. All are lovable characters which makes for a passionate, sizzling, sexy hot and yes a feel-good romance. This series is awesome, heartwarming, entertaining, humorous, and an all around great read. I simpl enjoyed their journey in book 2. I'm so excited to read book 3.I Highly Recommend Reading it.

Young Love Is a Beautiful Thing

I've observed teenage love that lasted until death, and it's a beautiful thing to witness. This is a great story full of passion, their love is spiritual which can eliminate the need for verbal communication, it's just that deep.
Physical abuse was a part of my life as a child, we all need a safe place to escape to, to renew ourselves when it gets hard to deal with. Extended family is important in that aspect of our lives. Sometimes we don't want to share our fears with those in our household, we need our extended family. Bean had Nellie and Heather, her best girlfriend and cousin but Noah was her best friend in the whole world.
Another good book Blue Saffire. Oh, I love the way you manage to get your name in the story, clever!! The proposal and the comic book were genius and a tear jerker for me. Thank you, I enjoy your storytelling.

I cannot say enough about this author. She just keeps hitting them out of the park.
I usually get worn out or bored with never-ending series books. But, Blue brings a good story every time! I loved Noah and Bean's story. It gives you sweet cozy feelings of childhood nostalgia with the perfect doses of HOT SCENES, tenderness, and BAD ASS heroines and alpha heroes. If I was Bean I would have climbed the tall FINE ASS tree that is "Noah Bear" much sooner. Rebecca is his perfect match. She was literally like the girl next door - a sweetheart, sassy, ride or die chick.
P.S. - It was also wonderful to catch up with folks from the previous books - Wyatt, Nellie, Cass Black, etc. I just LOVE these families.

I loved it.

I always love a story that tracks the main characters from an early age to present.it gives more of a history and a richness and depth.I am in love with Bean, although I am having a hard time getting a mental picture, I still love the character. She makes me want to be a bad ass. My mental image for Noah is Jason Mamoa. And let me tell ya, it makes me love him more. There a lot of twists in this story, some kinda predictable some not but it doesn't diminish this book. It will definitely help to read all of these that are available in order to keep all the characters in place, cause there are a lot. again it makes the story even better.this was totally worth it. Good job!!!!

This was confusing and a letdown- from what I expected from this couple.

I did enjoy the time hop, so even though this was somewhat of a slow churn- it wasn’t too slow.

Then it’s like the author hit fast forward and things took a strange turn. I can tell all the stories are intertwined. But there were things mentioned that made no sense to me, since I haven’t read the other series. For me that was odd, because most authors link the information in a way- the reader can follow despite not having read the previous books.

For me that took a huge piece away from the story. I’m still interested in the remaining brothers. So I’ll continue reading the series until I either finish or burn out on it.
