Designed as an aid for the study of the book Alcoholics Anonymous, The Little Red Book contains many helpful topics for discussion meetings.
This is the original study guide to the Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous. Filled with practical information for those first days of sober living, this little book: • offers newcomers advice about the program, how long it takes, and what to look for in a sponsor • provides in-depth discussions of each of the Twelve Steps and related character defects • poses common questions about AA and helping others, identifying where to find answers in the Big Book • features non-sexist language
Fantastic! It gave me a totally and different perspective of being an alcoholic... much clearer to me the program of alcoholics and the alcoholic character traits I work on every day. Would recommend to anyone in AA or considering joining the program
it's SO hard to rate any book lower than 5 stars that is supporting people in recovery from addiction. and even more so 12-step focused books because it has been so life changing for so many people. so I tried to take my personal biases of the 12 steps out of my rating but again, that's very hard, so here we are at 4/5 stars
definitely thought provoking and i'm intrigued to see how simplified this book was compared to the traditional big book
Excellent read.A good expanded explanation of all the steps, etc. Also a good description of Honesty Humility, Anger,Patience, Willingness and spiritual behaviour
