Lookout NASA--these astronauts are already on their way to Mars, and are eager to share their interesting facts and fascinating illustrations with young readers. 10,000 first printing.
I liked this book. I liked the pictures and the information. Now, the layout of the book on the other hand, is a little disjointed, but I enjoyed all the facts and details. Not sure how accurate all the info is now that we have the Mar Rover on Mars. I would guess the basic info is correct.
1st--after 4 hours in the car I am over it....I can't imagine being in a space craft for 11 MONTHS...claustrophobia, annoying crew mates etc And then to keep you entertained...free time etc.
Very interesting premise...maybe in my life time, we will have people on mars (ps I like that they brought their cat on the mission...his space suit is cute!)
An alphabet book focusing on a mission to Mars. Each page has a letter and then a word within the text is highlighted in red to demonstrate that letter. There's also little notes about the different parts of the journey.
