Run Fur Love
Harley Myers can smell a shifter a mile away. And she could smell trouble, just as easily. And now both were wrapped up in the drifter that sat at the end of her bar. He wasn't one of her tigers, and she didn't know what he wanted, but he was sending out enough signals that he was interested in getting her attention.
Was he worth getting involved with? Hell, yeah. No guy like him had come her way in a long time. She'd just have to be careful. Being the leader of a motorcycle club had taught her that.
Jericho Steele was an assassin with time to kill. He'd found himself in this hole-in-the-wall pub, and thought there was no better way to kill time than with the sexy girl behind the bar. She had more curves than a switchback highway, and he thought she would be just the thing to keep him occupied until he found his target. He just needed to keep his shifter status a secret. The clubs here were close knit and even though he was a tiger, his stripes would stick out like that proverbial sore thumb.
But when the leader of a rival club thinks Jericho double-crossed him, and Harley's brother is accused of a drug deal gone bad, both of them end up with targets on their backs. The only thing they can do now is stick together. And run like hell, until the smoke clears.

Harley is a human woman who owns a biker by she's also leader of the biker club.
Jericho comes in looking for a person he's meant to kill but when he meet her he can't do it.
It's a ok story but I struggled with Harley being leader of a group of shifters and biker gang without being a Shifter herself and then later in book struggling to protect herself by either shooting or stabbing the bad guy.
The sex was hot but book not great for me. Skimmed a lot to finish it.

Jericho Steele is a drifter who walks through the doors of Harley's bar one night and the two form an instant attraction. Despite Harley being around shifters all the time, she knows something is different about this one and can't help her attraction to him. Deciding not to fight her attraction she offers him a place to park his bike and a bed to share for one night. After an amazing night together, the two are attacked and during the attack the truth is revealed. Jericho wasn't just a drifter and was sent there on a mission to assassinate her. When she realizes, the truth she decides to still trust him knowing he could have done it during their night together. Jericho swears to her that his feelings changed the second she met him and the two travel to find her brother to settle the matter on why he was hired. Once together its a battle between Harley's MC and another one in town that ends in deaths on one side. Despite their original reason for meeting, both decide to try to come together and work on a relationship between each other.
This is an example of a great shifter romance. I love a man willing to fight to the death for his woman! I was glad that Harley was proven she could trust her gut and that her brother wasn't directly involved. Would love to read a story for Ember and Van. Will definitely be reading more of this authors work!!!!

Harley is human, she lives in a small town in Montana. She is the leader of a motorcycle club, which is full of tiger shifters. The only family she has is her half brother Duke, best friend Ember, amd her club. She also owns a bar in town. The book opens up to Harley being swamped at the bar and her brother being m.i.a. to help her out. Her luck changes when Ember comes to help out.
A handsome man enters the bar and he instantly catches Harley's attention. It says he cant smell that he is a shifter, but doesn't really explain how she does it. Harley goes over to take the strangers order and strike up conversation.
Harley invites the stranger, now known as Jericho to stay the night because of an approaching storm. This sets Harley's world upside down when the truth unfolds. Harley loves her life (with the exception of the “love life” part of it) she has her bar and her tigers what else would she need. When Jericho show up at the bar and says he is just passing through, the chemistry is off the charts, too bad his original intentions were to end her. Jericho is a nomad, living in the shadow of society taking jobs no one wants to do, until he meets Harley and he remembers the man he wants to be. One decision sets off a maelstrom of trouble ending in a club war. Loved, loved, loved the characters in this story! The storyline was exciting and steamy and the characters were lively and lovable (even if they were not always good).

This was a very enjoyable read, with a interesting and captivating storyline. It was a well balanced story, easy to follow and flowed smoothly. It was filled with lots of drama, suspense, action, and romance. I loved the characters, who were strong and intriguing. They made such a great couple and I loved their intense chemistry. This was a very exciting and entertaining read!

I'm a longtime fan of this author, and this book is no exception. Combining hot shifter romance with nonstop action, this book is a great read.
I loved immediate chemistry between Jericho and Harley. Good storyline with well.written characters.

He Had A Job To Do
An ARC was given and I agreed to voluntarily review it. My opinions are my own. He stepped into the bar and one look changed his mind. She met him at her bar and all hell broke loose in her life. They are going to have to come together to sort their lives and love out. This is a fun exciting read. Enjoy I did.

Harley runs a biker bar and biker club. Almost all of her guys are shifters of some sort, even though she is full human, she can tell by smell any shifter. She was working the bar on a busy night, and her half shifter brother Duke didn't come into work and she hadn't seen him in a few days.
A drifter came in and she could smell he was a shifter and he wasn't hard on the eyes. They flirted for as much time as they could, since her best friend Ember arrived and was immediately put to work. Ember is in love with a shifter who is always with other women.
The drifter asked if there were any hotels or motels around and was told no, but Harley would let him stay in her apartment. A storm was coming in and she allowed him to put his bike into the garage. Harley never bothered putting her bike away because everyone knew it was hers. As she led the drifter up to the apartment above the bar, he said his name was Jericho Steele, that it was only polite to know the name she would be screaming all night long. They spent the night in all sorts of positions, but Jericho woke up handcuffed to the bed. Harley knew he was not telling her the truth about things, but she also wanted to control the out of control sex they had been having.
The bedroom window was open and Jericho smelled gasoline and smoke. Harley dropped the drawer in the rush to get the handcuff key. They both dressed ASAP and Jericho checked the knob and told her it was safe to get out.
The entire bar was in flames and someone trashed the tires on her bike. They hopped on Jericho's bike to go call the fire dept. but they had to suddenly dodge bullets, someone was shooting at them and they had to go a round about way to the highway. They dumped the bike when two tiger shifters attacked them. Jericho shifted and he was the most beautiful tiger she had ever seen. He fought and killed the shifters trying to kill them.
Harley almost lost her shit when he asked who would do this and her answer was Morgan Ramsey, and Jericho was hired to kill either Duke or her.
It all came down to the fact that she had dumped Ramsey's brother because he was a junkie, and Morgan thought that Duke filled him full of tainted drugs.
When Jericho swore he would never hurt her and he would do anything, she felt safer. They went to the hideout her brother built and when they got there, they were attacked by another tiger. She saw her brother shift for the first time and between Duke and Jericho, they killed him.
It was time to end this once and for all at the scene of the crime, her burnt to the ground bar.
Would her clan be able to take on Ramsey and his rival shifter club, and would she and Jericho have a chance to see what could happen between them without the threat of death at every corner?

The cover is pretty awesome! My favorite shifter covers always have both beautiful beasts on it, and this one also has the bike and tat too!
This is a standalone book that as far as I can tell is not a series. This is an adult book due to the steamy content and violence.
Harley definitely intrigues me because she is human but has the fierceness of a shifter. Jericho falls hard for Harley, and they have quite a journey together. I liked all the action, and I was pulled into the story. I don’t want to give anything away because the journey is part of the adventure, so read the blurb and if you love shifters especially of the tiger variety you will want to read this one!!
I recommend this book to all the tiger shifter lovers especially if you love Catherine’s work!

Liked the storyline and how it progresses but Hayley just seemed miscast to me.
I struggled with getting my head around a human woman running a biker bar with shifters as its members. Just felt off, especially given how weak Hayley acts later on in the book.
Have a side story with Ember and Van but missed how they ended up together. Ember wants Van but watches him with a progression of other women. Then one minute he was getting slapped by his latest woman then he and Ember were leaving together.
Read though KU. All in all cannot say this booked grabbed me enough to read more.

Another great read by this writer! This book explores the dilemma of choosing between love and family and trying to find a way so that the choice does not have to be made. This happens in real life often. This book flows easily and the characters draw you in quickly. You will easily feel the suspense flowing through this storyline. A wonderful read for PHR lovers. Harley can smell shifters a mile away. Jericho is a shifter and a really sexy man. He comes into Harley's bar and they share a couple of shots. These two sizzle from a distance. One thing leads to another and they wake up in a hot bed of trouble. She wants to trust him, but it's really hard to do so. He wants to earn her trust back more than anything. They have a lot to overcome and are just getting started. So much in going on in this book, and it flows so well.

I absolutely adored this book! I am a big fan of Catherine Vale’s writing and this is no exception, i voluntarily reviewed this book and all my thoughts here are my own.
This is a highly addictive read and once you start it don't expect to get anything done as if you are anything like me you won't be able to stop turning the pages of this exciting face paced shifter book. The way that this book is written captures your attention from the first sentence and you seem to fall in love with the characters in this book very quickly and i think that is because the way the writer writes this book makes the world and the people in it come alive in your mind making you want to know more about them, what makes them who they are.
I loved this storyline, it is so full of action it really keeps you on your toes wondering what is going to happen next in this thrilling ride. I won't say much more so i don't spoil any surprises but i can't recommend this book highly enough. As amazing as this storyline is the characters are just as complex and vivid to read about. There are quite a few characters in this boo but the ones i want to mention the most are Jericho and Harley. I loved how strong, confident and self-assured Harley isshe knows who she is and how to hold her own in a group of people stronger and faster than her but this doesn't phase her in the slightest, she will do whatever it takes to protect and care for the ones that she cares about, doing what she thinks is right. Reading about Jericho waws brilliant, you say him change from the beginning of the book, he begins to see how he wants his life to be no matter his past. He is highly confident in his abilities of who he is and what he can do, when he cares about someone he will do whatever it takes to keep them safe and has a huge protective instinct.

It's a case of good ... or is it bad ... timing, Harley Myers is tending bar when in walks a gorgeous stranger. She knows he's trouble, she can smell it ... and she can smell a shifter even easier. Jericho Steele is a drifter, more importantly, a shifter assassin but he finds he has time on his hands and a woman he wants to get his hands on.
After one incredible night they find themselves on the run. Her bar has been burnt to the ground and a rival motorcycle club leader thinks Jericho has double crossed him. But Harley finds an even bigger dilemma ... can she trust the man sent to kill her? Yep that is a really major problem.
Run Fur Love is a very good shifter read. It is a mix of hitman, shifter, love at first sight and danger rolled into one very easy to read book. Author Catherine Vale knows how to pull her readers into a story and keep them there and when it's over... they want more. Both Harley and Jericho are really likable, she is human but knows shifters and he is a tiger shifter. Harley is working at her bar The Red Arrow, annoyed at her brother Duke for being a no show for work when a stranger who is a tiger-shifter comes in for a drink. He is deep dark and masculine, so when he asks about a room she tells him she does have a room, but he can share her bed if he wants company.
Jericho is sent here on a job, but he cannot resist the offer Harley presents. Apparently his story did not ring true as he wakes handcuffed to the bed! A little smooth talking and the fact he made Harley feel as she never had before have them continuing their activities – though Harley takes her time before taking off the cuffs. The smell of smoke and gasoline are a rude awakening – and the shredded tires and the shots fired as they make their escape are just the beginning of this danger-filled romance.
Can Harley trust this sexy stranger who seems to know too much about her business – and where is her brother Duke? Suspenseful, sexy adventure and scintillating romance!

This was a passionate, full of suspense story, I really enjoyed it!
Harley is a human living in a world surrounded by shifters... She owns the bar and is President of the MC club and they are all shifters, but it's her world and she loves it, she can even smell a shifter. That's why when the drifter walks into her bar, she can tell he's a very strong tiger, but mostly he is very hot and makes her go all tingly.

Harley thought her life would continue on as more of the same, her bar, her MC and her brother but when a stranger shows up in her bar her life will never be the same. Harley knows he is a shifter right away and the sparks between them are hot, but what else is there to this stranger? A night of fiery passion ends up with Jericho, said stranger, handcuffed to her bed and Harley demanding answers. What follows for these two is a test to the strength of the relationship they seem to be forming. Jericho knew who Harley was and was hired for a very different reason than winding up in bed with her, but he doesn't want to be without her. They have their work cut out to outfox the man who is after her and her brother. I loved this book from Catherine Vale. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Oh wow the storyline is solid! The characters are amazing and the action as wild and fast pasted. The author has created an amazing world here and you may not want to leave! I couldn't put it dpwn it's amazing.

This is a really quick steamy ride. Harley recognizes that the drifter that just came into her bar is a tiger shifter even though she is not a shifter herself. As soon as she starts to talk to him the sparks fly and the attraction is mutual. What she did not realize is that Jericho was actually hired by the head of the only other MC club in the area to take out her or her brother because he thinks they killed his brother. This book was non-stop action and steam. I was able to finish the story without having to put the book down at all....which was good because it would have been difficult to find a point to easily put this one down.

Another great book by this Author ! Harley Myers is running her bar and worried about her brother she does not know where he is! Tiger Shifter Jericho Steele is an assassin and because her has free time comes to Harley’s bar the attraction between the two is enough that they spend the night together. The next day everything is turned upside down,there is a rival club leader who thinks Jericho double-crossed him, a missing brother , arson when her club is burned down . What is happening? I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Wow this book really brings the heat in more ways than one, Harley is the head of an MC club, it's just another standard night at the bar she runs until Jerico walks in, what is it about this stranger that she is drawn to ? All hell is about to break loose, on top of which Jericho has a shock confession for Harley !
I really enjoyed this storyline and I love the descriptive way this author combines the storm and their love making as they build to their climax.

Harley is human, owns a bar, and is the Prez for her MC. She's working the bar one night when a stranger walks in. She may not know him...yet. But she's planning on it. The stranger, Jericho, is there for one reason...and Harley's not gonna like it....of course, she may not live long enough to care. Good solid story with likeable characters, a little mystery and suspense, and a nice romance.

I was surprised by Harley. As she could smell a shifter a mile away and sense other things, I kind of expected her to be a shifter too.
Harley and Jericho just connected when he walked into her bar. Even though she knew he was a shifter and that he kept secrets from her, she wasn't interested in a long term relationship---in the beginning.
Great that Jericho's secrets did not destroy their relationship and their connection when it so easily could have.

Run Fur Love is a fantastic book to read!! This book drew me in from the very first page, Intrigue, shifters, mates, running for their lives and much more is included in this book. It hooked this reader and entertained me all the way through the book. I can't wait to read more from this author. Catherine Vale has written another great book!! This book just reinforces my love for the books this author writes.

Another great story by Catherine Vale, she never disappoints. Great story which explores the dilemma of choosing between love and family. The story is interesting and has a captivating storyline. It is well written and easy to follow. The characters are both likeable and lovable. The chemistry between Hayley and Jericho is both steamy hot and tender. I was hooked from the very begging to the last page! Can't wait to read more of Ms. Vale's books.
