Chasing Shadows is a dystopian YA romance novel... with zombies (or rather, infected). If you'd have told me prior to reading this book that such a thing could be done—and executed this well—I'm not sure I would have believed you. The central plot is eloquently intertwined with an equally riveting and contrasting backstory that will have you thoroughly invested in the tight cast of characters. Good thing there is a sequel on the way, because you'll be dying to know what happens next!
