It's almost been a month since the R-04 virus eradicated twenty-five percent of the world's population and then began to chew away at the remaining survivors, one by one. There are enough of them left standing to unite and to fight back against the undead, but they're so busy fighting amongst themselves for possession of what is left of the world that they knew, that the sanguines are slithering in between the cracks of humanity and feasting on the excess of bad blood that's now flowing freely due to human hands.
Some hate in the name of love
Others fight for power over things that are worthless
Some kill to prevent murder
And others are trying so hard to outrun their past, that they're missing their present.
All of them yearn to restore the world that made them miserable before, but that's the thing: you can't bring what's dead back to life, and expect it to be the same.
The only way the human race is gonna survive, is if they evolve together.

4.5 stars!
This is a great zombie apocalypse series! The final book was really good! It's hard to say goodbye to so many great characters and relationships. Especially hard to see some characters you've come to love or were starting to understand not make it. But it was realistic in the way that in a world that's been devastated and overrun with zombies, not everyone makes it through. At least comparing it to one of my favourite shows, The Walking Dead, cause obviously I haven't met any real zombies!
There's Will and Charlotte's love affair too which was awesome! They had loved each for years before the apocalypse happened and to have a second chance at love among all of the craziness was exciting.
Walking Dead fans will love this as it has the same mix of zombie action, defending your group against some humans that are worse than the zombies and character development.

Good story, poor editing
I liked the basis of the story but the constant errors including using the wrong names, missing words & general editing issues really distracted me & took away from the overall reading. Please get some beta readers from your fans - I'm sure plenty would be happy to do so.
