“The guards are mad; they want to keep me as a caged parakeet.” Becoming the Elf King has some drawbacks that Lord Spaulding never realized before. Spaulding awakens in National Palace several months ago with an abdominal wound, and part of his memory is erased. Worse, his former arch-nemesis, Lord Froylan, is now his servant.

After surviving a foiled assassination attempt by a rogue Äimite guard named Lord Tamerlan, Spaulding suspects his disconcerting ally Lord Froylan has an ulterior agenda.

Memories of a dangerous magical artifact resurface. Spaulding must embrace the haunting memories that forced him to bond to his Ominous Book before he destroys the Elf Kingdom.

I live in Mexico and enjoy traveling and watching anime. Oh, and I also like cats. I write books in English and Spanish.

¡Saludos!

This 4th book of the series is really good. It incorporates new characters that make the saga more robust and fascinating. Lord Spaulding shows a side of him that is very interesting in terms of leadership and self awareness as to where he wants the kingdom to go. New characters that bring a lot of fun to the story and immerses you more into the elf world. There are scenes that are really quite original in terms of description and character development. Tears, heartache and good laughter will result from reading this book with some surprising and novel events that keep you reading non-stop. Loved it!
