A new story from Master Class series. I didn't realize this somehow has connected character with the previous book, Initiation. So, your best friend's brother? Why not! Ella Gibson harbored secret crush to Pierce Holden for years. But he's the man she should avoid. Now Pierce came back, he wouldn't let Ella with another man. Even for a spanking.
Ella isn't a newbie with BDSM. After the failed relationship with her last Dom, finally she has courage to seek another. She's very likable woman. Strong and independent. She know what she wants, except for Pierce. He's a bad news for her body and heart.
At first, Pierce didn't really act like a Dom. I mean, he's kinda fun and not strict type. Since they're already know each other, Ella trust him to do BDSM scenes. Not much info about Pierce. He's quite private. Although he came from a wealthy family but chose military instead. Pierce wants his own future. I liked this man already!
The BDSM scenes really take almost half of the story. It was sexy and enjoyable. I loved how Pierce as a Dom, nurturing and guiding her. His rules was kinda easy and basic one. Outside BDSM, they're like a normal couple even it wasn't official, but clearly they're like each other. Despite all the problem between them, it didn't take long for Pierce realized that she's the only one for him. Overall, it was a great and satisfying read. Very smooth without unnecessary drama.

Get ready to be swept off your feet and then tossed to the side. Rinse and repeat. Ella Gibson is a woman on a mission. She is going to find her Mr. Right and this time, he is going to come complete with whips and chains. Ella goes to a BDSM club to find her perfect dominant. Her slight scent of desperation attracts the sharks. Lucky for her, Pierce catches wind of this and takes her under his wing.
Ella's relationship with Pierce is complicated. He is her best friend's brother who has watched over her as an awkward teen. Her crush on him never completely abated as she grew up. When Pierce offers to be her dominant, she is mixed. Pierce exudes alpha male pheromones and attitude. Maybe too much for Ella who is also headstrong. Pierce is also an experienced dominant. There is just something about Pierce that makes Ella weak in the knees.
I loved Pierce. His is the kind of dominant who turns me on to no end. With a military background, I am already drooling and ready to kneel. Ms. Cartwright creates some of the best dominant characters. Pierce is one of my favourites. Pierce's tone, words and body language is vivid to the point that it leaps off the pages. He is the dreamy Dom submissives pine after. Ella is fortunate to receive Pierce's attention and tutoring. Their dynamic is realistic and amusing. Ella is not the perfect submissive which makes her perfect for Pierce. The romance is spicy sweet and believable.
For those who want dripping hawt sizzling BDSM scenes, Ms. Cartwright delivers over and over again. What I like about Ms. Cartwright's scenes is the realism. Sometimes the scene does not go exactly right and that is okay. The submissives are not perfect because they are usually new to the lifestyle so they make newbie mistakes. I also like how the female submissives are usually strong independent women who revel in their sexuality and submissive desires. What is also delicious is how several scenes are teasing, almost edging a reader until they can not take it anymore. Lastly, the BDSM scenes are integral to the loves story and enhance the plot. Ms. Cartwright blends BDSM into the romance so well. Love it! This erotic romance is highly recommended to BDSM readers who love alpha males and strong female submissives.

In to BDSM? Curious about it? This is probably one of the safest BDSM experience reads I've read in a very long time. But if you're looking for a deep, getting to know the characters and dive in to a story that will go on and on and on and.....yeah, don't read this one. This book is all about the kink...and there's plenty of it.
Confession time. I didn't read the first installment to this series. And from what I'm gathering after reading this book, it's not exactly necessary (although if the first is like this one, I'm gonna have to back track). This completely read as a stand alone for me, especially considering there was only a section within a chapter that brought in the first books' characters. So, although I usually recommend reading series in order, I didn't, so I think you'll be fine if you don't.
Pierce is home for a family event. An event that he's not all too happy having to be at, but what can you do, right? While enjoying a drink at the local bar with his sister, Pierce eyes his sister's best friend. The one who is all grown up, curves in all the right places and talking to someone she shouldn't be talking to if she knew what was good for her. But when Pierce tries being the hero, he learns a little more about this bestie...and he's more than intrigued.
Ella is looking for something. Ever since she got out of a one-sided relationship, she's been craving some of the "things" that relationship had to offer. Finally looking for someone to settle down with and play with, she starts a conversation with someone she heard was in to the same lifestyle she was. The only problem is that Pierce has not only interrupted her conversation, he's hijacked it. And now? Now he's offering to give her exactly what she's been looking for. Even if it's only for a night. But will that be enough?
I'm not gonna lie. This book contains some pretty graphic BDSM scenes that are hotter than hot. Like sizzling and on fire. And that's just in the first few of chapters. Then the heat just gets turned up even more as it continues. But don't look for anything more than some great scenes. I wasn't really impressed with the character building, but lets be honest. When it's that hot, who the hell cares, right? All in all, completely enjoyed this one and will absolutely be looking for the next one.

This was previously published in an anthology but has been revamped , revised and expanded. I love this version because the heat factor is outstanding. Pierce has known Ella for many years as his little sister’s best friend. He is home on a brief leave and reconnects with her one night while out. They both are surprised to find out they are into BDSM. Ella has always carried a crush on Pierce but things have changed and she realizes he isn’t the man for her. Come to find out, Pierce is very much a DOM while Ella is the submissive-- The chemistry and sex between these two heats up and leaps off the pages. They share a very powerful connection, one worth exploring .
Ella is looking for a dominate man who is willing to settle down and build a future with her. Sadly, Pierce is not that man. Though Ella has gotten to him more than any other woman, he isn’t ready to leave the action and comrade of the military. Their chemistry is explosive and the passion between them is mind blowing but more than that, they have a true connection. When Pierce and she have an opportunity to get together and BDSM is clearly on the cards, she is wonderfully honest with him, and he with her. I really liked that this was their starting point - and clearly Pierce desires to give her what she craves. The smooth and flowing writing style made the whole experience feel like one I was living through too - which was by turns a little scary, but also very hot!
For a short story we get a very satisfying romance, D/s experience and a desirable ending - I am looking forward to the next in the series!

I loved this story when it was a part of the One Night in Vegas anthology. Now that it is expanded it's even better. Staff Sgt Pierce Holden is sexy and oh so yummy. I totally get Ella being so against a relationship with a military man. The heart attaches too easy. But these two are meant to be together.

Always good...but...
My first thought in review is "To each his own." The characters are good, the main characters closed off and needy - and it takes them coming together (pardon the pun) to realize it in each of them and each other.
But, although I loved the characters, my overriding feeling was wincing; my ongoing thought, wow ouch!
Good writing as always, but intense.

And that's hard for a huge alpha female to say, but her brilliant writing style never fails to make me just a bit curious about losing my iron control. The absolutely flammable chemistry is palpable, which EXPLODES spectacularly into such fiery flames of sexy scene goodness, that all panties will be left as ashes in its wake. Character development is great, which has left me in love with Pierce in all of his dominant ways, and Ella is a feisty female in search of some kink, that I loved. The author wrote pages filled with sizzlin' sex, (yes, I'm repeating but you'll understand when reading), added in a few f-bomb worthy twists, to which some have yet been answered, and with angst that had me feeling dramatic girly girl emotions. I'm a fan, so obviously I CANNOT WAIT to read more of her sexy alpha military men, which leads me to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING Enticement!

Wow. I should no longer be surprised by how much I love this author! Once AGAIN readers are given an incredible female lead - one of my favorite things about Sierra Cartwright. She gives you heroines that are emotionally and psychologically strong. Ella may have turned to Pierce to learn the ropes of her physical limits, but she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it, or stand by her own convictions of how she wants her life to be. The women in the Donovan Dynasty series and in the Bonds series are just as engaging, believable, and admirable! But here Ella understands that her lessons will come at a heavy price, this is a one night thing. Not so fast, because SC's hero's are total softies when it comes to unexpectedly meeting the women of their dreams! They acknowledge it, and embrace it...eventually. Pierce feels an immediate connection with Ella, but fights is almost as hard as she does. Pierce's character is dominant, but flexible and patient. Ella is curious and open, but stays true to her slightly bratty self. These two have awesome chemistry, and of course, we always get an HEA. The scenes are wonderfully seductive and hawt. The background is clutter free, and hopefully you have read book 1, because characters do appear from that read as well. Highly recommended!

Though Ella has got to him like no other woman, he is not ready to leave the adventure of the military. These are two strong willed people but love will conquer all obstacles.

So I listen to most of my books and I kept thinking if the family only knew that I am listening to this very hot book. Sierra Cartwright definitely knows how to write them. I have now read a few of her books and I love them. If you love BDSM romance books then this is a must read. But, make sure that you read the warning that was provided.

This is a series that BDSM fans can really sink their teeth into. (especially the biters. ) Sierra does this genre right. It’s all about Safe, Sane and Consensual and so very enthralling. The last Master Class book we were introduced to Logan, and he was certainly yummy. Now we meet Pierce Holden.
Pierce is in a bar and watching his sister’s best friend being picked up by a slimeball attorney who is also a dom. Knowing the guy as well as he does, he decides to keep an eye on her. When the alcohol starts flowing and he realizes what “Junior” is up to, he intervenes. Imagine his surprise when Ella says she knows Junior is a dom. So, what’s Pierce to do?
I’ll let you all read about what Pierce and Ella do. The story is so hot you’ll need oven mitts to handle your e-reader. These two definitely have some major chemistry between them and their scenes just leap off the page. This one is a keeper folks.

Once again Cartwright has drawn me into a story that I just didn’t want to leave.
Ella and Pierce were both fun characters and they drew me into the story. While I’m not a fan of BDSM books, Cartwright writes them in a way that it still has an appeal to me. The stories aren’t 100% about the BDSM, but also about the relationship forming between Ella and Pierce.
I understand Ella’s reluctance when it comes to Pierce and his profession because it’s not easy being attached to someone in the military. But even though she has her fears, it was great to follow along as she followed her heart.
Pierce was a good strong character who was willing to do what it took to show Ella that it was worth being with him.
Overall, this is another good read from Cartwright and I can’t wait to read more in the future.

Ella has known Pierce for a long time, as he is her best friend's brother, and has loved him just as long. But he is a military man and goes on dangerous missions at the drop of a hat. Ella doesn't know if she could live with someone who does that for a living as she wants the husband, kids and white picket fence.
Pierce knows that once he has a taste of Ella he won't be able to let go. But he has this taste and knows that his future is uncertain until he can have Ella all to himself.
This is a great novella where the chemistry between Ella and Pierce is off the charts and panty melting. A quick read where Sierra takes you what it is like to have a taste of your best friend's brother and want more.

With a man like Pierce I knew this new expanded edition was going to be one hot read, and Sierra didn't disappoint.
When his sisters best friend decides to start dating again, Pierce knows she's asking for trouble. Once she admits the real reason for wanting a man, well how could he resist but offer to help.
The way Sierra weaves her magic never fails to impress me. She tells the BDSM side of this story so beautiful that your knee-deep in a scene before you even know that's what she's doing and it's so delicious. Thanks for another amazing story Sierra bring on the next one

Holy hotness!
Long on hot BDSM scenes *fanning face* but a bit short on story. There was some, but I was left a bit unsatisfied when it came to the story. Dangling theads. The couple did seem to find their hea, but even that felt abrupt. It was a good read,but I think I expected more.

When Sweet and Sassy Ella lets herself have a kinky weekend with her best friends Super Sexy brother, Pierce, she didn't know what she was in for. The weekend was more than either expected. Hard choices have to be made on both sides. But you know love wins in the end!! Sierra never lets us down!!

Loved the continuation of this story line. The characters are engaging and fun to read about. And it doesn't hurt that it is a super sexy story! I hope there is another one. btw: loved the little insert from Bonds series! ;)

I liked this one better than Initiation. The story jumped right in there, got to the point, and didn't tease. Minimal angst before successful conclusion. She writes romantic Doms. I like that!
