Matt Delaney and his sister Sarah have only just managed to escape being confined in one of the government's growing number of FEMA camps all around the country. The minority elite have forcibly taken control of all land and other wealth, after a significant population cull similar to that predicted by the Georgia Guidestones. The remainder have been forcibly confined in the camps, to be used as and when required to perform all the manual and menial tasks that their rich oppressors do not want to do.Only a small number of people saw this coming beforehand and thus managed to flee into the remotest parts of the countryside and set up a resistance movement of their own.
A chance encounter with a mysterious young woman out in the forest gives Matt a newfound sense of hope, as he quickly discovers that she possesses some kind of magical power that can perhaps help them to survive. Little does he know that others like her are out there, who don't have such an altruistic purpose in mind.
