My name is Marty— Devil’s Renegades Sergeant at Arms Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I fought like hell to get where I am. I’ve sacrificed everything to be a member of the greatest brotherhood I’ve ever known. Aside from her, this club is the only thing I love in my life. Even when she left me, I still wanted her. My love never faltered. It couldn’t. Some shit is just too strong to break. Or at least I thought it was. My name is Maddie. I belong to the Devil’s Renegades Motorcycle Club. I’ve been raised by them. Loved by them. Protected by them. They are my family. To everyone I’m a litter sister—everyone but him. I tried to deny his love, but still I wanted him. I needed him. Some things you just can’t refuse. But five years is a long time. People change. I guess I’m one of those people. I’ll get her back... He’ll try to save me… She’s just lost… I’ve found my way… I’d die for her… …He’d kill for me—and he will. This is a full-length, standalone, Devil's Renegades MC novel. Contains mature themes.
Devil's love by Kim Jones is another alpha male biker book 😍 its a will they won't they and oh for god sake just get on with it story line,it's fun, sexy, frustrating and sometimes a little unbelievable. If something naughty and a little dangerous is what your looking for then anything by Kim Jones is going to hit the spot,I recommend this definitely 😉
Devil’s Love was the third book in Kim Jone’s Devil’s Renegade MC series.
Maddie Pittman was raised around the Devil’s Renegades. She was under their protection, but to her it felt like a prison.
Marty Yates was a patched member of the MC. He had been skirting around Maddie for years and although they developed a friendship, their chemistry was off the charts.
I had mixed feelings with this storyline. I liked some parts of the characters and hated others. It definitely wasn’t “good feels” between them and most definitely not safe for my friends wanting safe. There were also quite a few kindle throwing and wtf moments. I actually liked Marty most of the time, but Maddie? Jeez, I can’t find nice words for her. And then of course Jones threw in some bizarre twists to spice it up more. It was still confusing since big chunks of time were skipped over and I also desired a deeper dive into the “why” but it did become suspenseful as to what will be revealed next, so the intrigue factor was a plus.
The biggest downfall for me was that it seemed to be part of the wrong series and I was missing major plot lines. I went researching and some of the main character stories weren’t part of this series. I recommend the author reorganize the series to include Saving Dallas and Red as the first books, rather than those be marketed as pure stand alones. It would bring connectivity to the series rather than the current disjointed vibe. I would also recommend cleaning up some of the editing errors.
Aside from that, the storyline itself was interesting. I liked the premise, even if I wasn’t thrilled with the characters. At the time of this review I’m unsure where Jones will take us next but the MC thrives so hopefully we’ll get more soon.
Sadly, this book just didn't work for me. I loved Clubwhore and Patchwhore so when I saw there was another book in the Devil's Renegade series, I jumped on it.
I think part of the reason that I didn't connect with this book was due to the fact that I haven't read Saving Dallas so I don't know Dallas' backstory or that of Maddie (assuming her story was told there). There was clearly a painful past still affecting Maddie but I just had to take that at face value in order to read on.
Both Clubwhore and Patchwhore had an overall different feel to them. They told a story of a certain type of girl within an MC and Devil's Love just didn't seem to fit alongside these books.
I couldn't find any way to warm to Maddie, or what she has been through to bring her to where she is today. I just didn't appreciate her story or her need to kill. Marty, on the other hand, was a loveable character that I could have enjoyed in a different story with a different girl, or even a different Maddie.
Some of the vernacular in the book came across as too stilted and affected my reading enjoyment. To me, it seems that too many words were missing but I just put this down to a particular dialect and talking manner but maybe I'm wrong?
Overall, this book just felt too disjointed and not to the author's usual standards. It jumped around and on occasion and generally lacked continuity to the point that I felt that perhaps I was missing pages or chapters on my kindle. It's a shame because the series so far has blown me away.

The thing I LOVE about KJ's books is that the characters are as fucked up as I am. She always writes a fucked up story about real life happenings. Maddie in this case has been through so much, her need for revenge has her becoming mentally sick. I loved this character. She is funny, strong, a fighter, sexy as hell and imperfectly perfect. The H in this book is the ultimate alpha. He loves without restraint. After all of Maddie's fucked-up-ness, Marty still loves her, he still works to prove to her he loves her unconditionally. The love I have for this author's writing is off the charts. I want to live within her books. I want these characters as my friends. This is one of the best M/C series of all time and I have read a ton. I hope she keep um coming because my need for them is never ending.
I liked Marty and wished for someone better for him than Maddie. Maddie was so immature and she didn't impress me. I was so over her when Marty had just gotten out of prison and she wants to start shit that could cause him trouble if he gets in the middle of it with his PO. Did that stop her? No because she thinks of nothing but herself.
This author has done it again ! This author has brought our Marty Back , earlier in the series he was prospecting and now he is Sargent at Arms . Marty is everything us ladies deep down hope for . He is sexy , muscly, dirty , possessive and dominant and he truly loved Maddie .
This book is about Maddie and Marty , the MM Couple! This book is a big roller coaster ride , there are twists and turns everywhere and some shocks as well . I absolutely loved every second of this book and I couldn't put it down because I needed to know how it ended . The sexual encounters were explosive and hot , they are so hot and sexy . Marty is very dominant and dirty that makes it more fun . I couldn't get enough of these two together .
This book put me on a range of emotions , some parts made me angry , sad , annoyed and extremely turned on . This author knows how to write her mc books . This chick is my go two girl when needing to read MC .
This book ends in a happily ever after , I loved the epilogue. As much as I wanted it to be longer it was perfect and awesome . So fitting for Marty and Maddie .
If you haven't read this book , then I suggest you do because it was amazing and I loved it so much . Now get reading ladies !
OMG the h was so annoying that I just could not get into the book. Over and over I found myself reading the same paragraph but the h would do something lame and be all whinny. She wants to be independent but what does she do to gain it from the club?? Go to school? NO, get a job?? NO she goes out and acts like she is batman, YUP she goes out and acts like she is drunk and gets bad guys to hit on her just so she can pull a gun out on them. So she was attacked 4 years back and the person who saved her was some woman that was getting abused herself, So the h is gong to kill the husband as a favor. But does she research the bad guy? Does she find out anything about him? No, she goes and acts like an interior designer and gets close to the wife. Thank god for the H who was a bit more sensible and did some research on the guy. .... Bad guy a very bad guy.
Over all I found myself skipping pages cause the h was just plain annoying to me. I gave it 2 stars cause I did finish the book, the struggle was very real.

It's a rare moment in time when I like the hero better than the heroine, but that was sure the case in this book. Marty was a fu€king saint to put up with Maddie's shit. Thank god he had the patience to love her because I wanted to jack slap her into next week.
I got so frustrated with the crap she pulled just trying to show that her whiny weak ass was tough. I love a strong woman and I love an independent woman, but dear lord please just grow the hell up Maddie. She put herself in unnecessary danger, put the man (on probation) that she claimed to love in seriously crazy circumstances, was always saying she didn't need help, yet always did and showed very little remorse for her bratty behavior. I was so sick of her by the end of this book.
I'm grateful for the writing skills of this author and my love for the Devil's Renegades because I still would like to just bitch slap Maddie, but I will refrain.
“Devil's Love” is one book that’s destined to blow out of your seat!! The story was raw! Filled with an earth shattering journey of strength, pain and love. Maddie and Marty shared love that was so clearly ethereal! They were meant to be together. But fate was cruel! Fate had other plans! GASP!!! Fate has a funny way, of making you work for your destiny! “Devil's Love” left me devastated at times. In others, the chemistry was undeniably scorching hot! Like, I needed to borrow a cigarette! From no other than the “Queen Badass Bitch” herself Kim jones!

♥️🌼🔥MARTY AND MADDIE....WHAT A RIDE!!!♥️🌼🔥 Marty and Maddie began their relationship in secret...Then it wasn’t...Then it wasn’t enough for Maddie, who had been protected her whole life, by the Devil’s Renegades, ..and to the point of suffocation....After 5 years apart, both Marty and Maddie have changed.....except for their love for each other....And their journey is a real trip!!!!♥️🌼🔥 I, seriously, loved this book....Kim Jones writes with knowledge and authenticity about the MC life, while weaving in through. hot, beautiful love stories....and, so far, I’ve read 4 books and 1 novella by her, and I have Loved. Every. One. She writes about some of the hottest, baddest bikers and the smart, fiery women who don’t want to tame them.....I see Red has a book, so I’m on to it...I’m so glad I “discovered” Kim Jones....♥️🌼🔥
so I read this book out of order... oops. but I'm still in love. I think everyone in her books are so relatable that you can't put the books down and fall in love with them (not to the point I'm going to find a Jail pen pal...but maybe lol) In this book the female role talks about having a few extra pounds and the insecurities that she feels. THANK YOU!!!!! I'm personally over the 5'5" 100 pounds with F boobs,However she at no time in any book hits a gym or orders a salad girl in most of these books. I'm sure there is some unicorn out there that this is true for, but it becomes unrelatable at some point to those of us huffing it to the gym and still have a few extra curves.
This is an amazing story. Marty and Maddie are in a love-hate relationship. They go on a journey, a roller coaster ride. This author knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. Alpha Male and the strong woman who loves him.
Marty goes thru a lot along with Maddie thru the time jumps. Prison, therapy, secret identities. This one has it all. Maddie is as crazy as ever, and Marty is as ruthless. After mistakes and misunderstandings they too find their hea with each other and the club.
It was a great read. It had great characters and a smooth flowing interesting story line. Once you start reading you won't want to put it down. Rated very good
2.5 ⭐ Es el que menos me ha gustado de la serie, me tomo muchos intentos terminarlos, se me hizo infinito y no disfrute tanto de sus personajes como en los anteriores
The story made nonsense. The characters had no real connection. Maddie was just stupid. I hated her personality. Don't bother reading this book. It's terrible.
What a crazy ride. Marty and Maddie have intrigued me since the beginning and their story was just so them. My heart did hurt for them but their happy ending was just about perfect!!
I love Kim Jones' books. Enjoyed reading Maddie and Marty's story. Maddie is not my favorite person in this series but the book was still good. Loved the ending.
I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is Marty and Maddie’s story. Marty was a prospect that fell for Dallas sister and the girl that was off limits because she was thought of as the clubs sister. After he was patched in and things were going for the couple Marty chose the club over Maddie on their anniversary. This caused other events to occur and Maddie to have an epiphany and decided to make some changes in her life.
When Marty was in prison for 5 years he realized what he had with Maddie. However, Maddie was learning to stand on her own and not rely on others to fight her battles. Now that Marty is out of prison and back home he has changed and realizes Maddie is not the same either. Marty is too observant and good at finding out secrets especially Maddie’s. When he realizes what she is up to and over her head he is determined to step in.
I enjoyed this second chance story. Maddie is crazy, funny, strong willed, stands up for herself, and a handful who loves stirring up trouble. Marty is the perfect fit for her because he likes cleaning up her kind of trouble. Marty is the only on that can handle Maddie’s crazy ways. Marty loves Maddie no matter what she does and will always have her back; he is determined to protect her at any cost. I enjoy Kim Jones writing style and cannot wait to read more from her.
A Few of my favorites quotes:
“If you were hurt babe, I’d know it. Better than anyone. Because I’ve seen you hurt, Maddie. And it’s fucking gut-wrenching. I know, because when you feel pain, I feel it too.”
She makes me whole. She makes me love like a Devil. And fight like a goddamn Renegade.
While I have loved almost all of Kim Jones books this one didn't connect with me at all.
Maddie is Dallas' sister and is broken from her abduction. She has a night with Marty, then a prospect, he soon gets his cut and they start to date, first in secret than in the open. When Marty chooses the club over her on their anniversary a situation arises that forces Maddie to change. A near rape. Soon after Marty is arrested, sent to jail for ten yrs serves 5 and is home. But Maddie is no longer who she was.
She is sporting an alter ego and a plot for vengeance that no one knows about. To the club, she is broken Maddie but she isn't the weak little girl they think she is.
While fighting to get closer to Marty yet keep him away at the same time, the lines blur. She has a hard time keeping him away and he is too receptive to not learn her secret and she can't have that.
I won't say too much but I just couldn't get into this. It was written over a 5+ year timeline and I didn't find anything to like about Maddie or Marty.
I adored Marty from the beginning, I would most defiantly claim him as my "book boyfriend". His character was so well put together, I really enjoyed his POV in the book. Honestly I probably enjoyed it better than I did Maddie's POV.
Maddie it took me a little time to really "take a liking to her", she was so stubborn but in fairness I'm always sitting back screaming "LET HIM LOVE YOU!" with any book I read.
I don't really want to give a lot away with my review, BUT this book is totally worth reading. Kim Jones is to me the Colleen Hoover of MC romance!
