The long-awaited second book in the Minnesota’s Lost Towns series is now available. Travel along as we visit and learn about more than 125 central Minnesota locations. The book covers twenty-six of Minnesota’s central corridor counties, from east to west. Read how the towns were created, how they developed and lived, and why they died. Discover the people and places of Minnesota’s past. Filled with tales and photos, the book is a fun and educational read for anyone who loves history or a good story.
I wish I could give it a 4.5 star! I loved this book so much I went and bought the Northern Edition part two. There was so much good information in here and the author kept it really interesting. The only two complaints I have are, I wish the counties were ordered more in a row than all over the place. It may have made it easier to keep track of where each one was. My second complaint is that it would have been really nice to have map in the book to mark these areas. Prior to reading the book I asked my dad to use his map to map out some of these areas, we both had a fun time doing it. However, a referral map in the book would have been great. I can't wait to read the next one.
