The Blogger Diaries Trilogy

Book 1: WISHED FOR YOU
Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post: 1/17/15
My name is Kayla and I’m a blogger who believes in fairy tales. Through the anonymity of my blog, along with my reviews of the steamy novels I like to read, I tell the stories of my own search for love. No matter how disastrous they turn out—and believe me, you will ask yourself ‘Did that really happen?’—I never gave up, knowing my soul mate was out there somewhere.
When my big brother invited me to move to Houston for a semester of college, I jumped at the opportunity to leave my small hometown to see what it was like to live in a big city. Having no friends and not knowing where to go, I met a guy online and met up with him that night. Because…YOLO, right?
Turns out, he was an okay guy. Not ‘The One’, but still, a good enough guy to spend time with. But then, he introduced me to his best friend Jason, and my world tilted on its axis. The dark, tough, tatted-up guy, who was too broody for his own good, captivated me.
But he made it perfectly clear, I wasn’t his type.

IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
The Blogger Diaries Trilogy is the true story of how I met, fell for, lost, and got a
second chance at love with my soul mate. The names of everyone EXCEPT me, Jason, my family, and my best friend have been changed to protect their identities. Full of youthful stupidity, leading to bad decisions and lots of angst, it is a real life story, where inevitably things are messy.
No one can look back at their late teens and early twenties and not think of moments that make them ask, What the hell was I thinking? Every second of this trilogy is true, exactly as it happened.
The first book, ‘Wished For You’, is a tale of finding ‘the one’ too early, and then having to let them go.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a true trilogy, meaning the first two books END ON CLIFFHANGERS. But if you take the journey with me, in the end, I promise you a happily ever after you will never forget.
I know I won’t.

Book 2: WISH HE WAS YOU
Kayla’s Chick Rant & Book Blog
Blog Post

Heartbroken and devastated, I moved back home to North Carolina after the man I loved more than anything told me he didn’t want me anymore.
After my disastrous dating history, I had finally found the one, my soul mate, and then he just threw me away like I meant nothing to him. So, what was I supposed to do now?
I did what any woman who had her heart ripped to shreds would do. I rebounded. And I rebounded hard.
My life spun and progressed at whirlwind speed as I tried desperately to fill the hole Jason had left inside me.
I had myself fooled for a while there, until the newness of everything wore off, until the whirlwind slowed to a grinding halt and I was forced to stop and realize exactly what I’d done. I suppose I could’ve trained myself to be content with Aiden, but all I did was…

Book 3: WISH COME TRUE
Kayla’s Chick Rant and Book Blog
April 17, 2016

They say when you quit trying so hard, things will finally fall into place. So, I let go of my failed marriage to Aiden, focused all my attention on my daughter and finishing school while working a full-time job, and suddenly…
Barely breathing turned into surviving.
Surviving turned into being content.
Contentment turned into happiness.
All just my girl and me.
But there was still something missing, something I truly never thought I’d have.
My happily ever after.

Loved the series as a whole each book got better, which makes sense knowing Book 1 was her first ever. We get to read the ups and downs, the good times and the bad times of a true life Romance Novel.

Wished For You (Book 1)
What a fun interesting book. Knowing it is the authors true life story made this pretty cool. Kayla honestly lived the things we all read about!
It took a bit to get into the story but once I was in, I was hooked. The characters are so relatable (duh! they are real people) I could honestly see myself hanging out with them. There was no crazy over the top story, just true life.  Real things, people sometimes suck, strangers become your close circle of friends, sometimes life is boring, your first love usually does break your heart, for some reason we fall for the #sshole all of that stuff made this book an easy enjoyable read for me.
That ending though! Seriously wanted to throat punch our "hero". Can't wait to read the rest of Kaylas real life romance story.

Wish He Was You (Book 2)
I absolutely love that this is a true story! I am definitely hooked.
God how I hated Jason at the end of book 1!! Started book 2 hating him and at some point he snuck back into my heart only he screwed it up and I was back to hating him. Kayla my goodness what this girl went through. She lived through heart break, after heart break!
Just like the first one we are left wondering and dying for more!

Wish Came True (Book 3)
Aww! Her Wish did Come True. So many happy tears. After all the Kindle throwing moments Jason caused in the first 2 books he so made up for it in this one.
What a rocky road to love they traveled. But I think ever bump and bruise strengthened their true love. I say strengthened because even time, distance, or trying to move on with another couldn't stop it. They were soulmates, meant to be, destined from the very start. And Jason, God love him, is just a silly man it took him a little while to come to his senses.
Kayla is living the dream, she got her Prince Charming with a tendency to be a Beast.

What a beautifully written love story! I think this book was so good because it was a true story and there were parts that I think everyone could relate to. It felt as though you were feeling every emotion she was going through heartbreak, depression, anxiety, and then finding happiness and love the second time. There was times I did want to yell and scream at Jason but by book 3 I was rooting for him! I am so glad that they got thier HEA and miracle baby! I am so glad that she shared this incredible journey with us. I can not wait to read more of her wonderful books

A HFN that is heartwarming

I just want to say if I got a HFN like this I wouldn't need books to keep me happy. What a great story from her heart and true life at that. I have never read a book made of true events and I'm not this was my first. A super love story and passion involved that makes other men look like chumps! HA! You have a great one there.. Happy you got your happy for now. Great read

I absolutely loved this honest account of Kayla's journey to her happy ever after. It's a friends to lovers to husband & wife story that will take you with her through the happy times, sad times and those times when you get so angry you want to kick something or someone. I applaud Kayla for having the guts to write her own true story and I'm glad that Jason redeemed himself in the end.

Great read. It shows real life can sometimes be worth putting into words. I can see the 'perky' persona shining through, and for someone who seems to think she isn't able to make female friends easily, I found you very likeable.

I can't get over the fact that these is Kayla's and her husband real love story and they are also the models on the covers!
I'm so glad to have read this books.

Besides being a very good looking couple, Kayla and Jason are what I think would be translation of fairy tale in real life. I feel I’m Kayla’s & Jason’s friend just from reading their story, the way Kayla writes this book is A-MAZING! I was reading so fast when she was rambling, crying so much when she was hurt, cheering for her when she was so determined and laughing so hard at her thought but at the end I just wanted to hug them both.

Have you heard the expression “If two people are meant to be together, eventually they’ll find their way somehow”? If you don’t believe in soulmates, this book will change your mind, because whether it was destiny or fate they were MEANT for each other. This books will take you inside K&J’s little world and make you fall in love with their vibrant, touching and memorable love story, these books are a celebration of their unconditional love.

It’s really hard to review this trilogy without giving spoilers, but I wasn’t always a fan of Jason and he made me cried so much after some things he did or said to Kayla, but just reading about his motives made me warmed up to him and ended up loving him so much because he truly loves Kayla and their family. I admire Kayla so much! She has the biggest, warmest heart and is one of the most strongest woman I have met (online but still counts). I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t recover from things she went through as well as she did. Spoiler Alert but she is the best mommy, sister, daughter and wife.

Her family reminds me a lot of the TV Show Chesapeake Shore, they are a big happy family and everyone is there for each other and I love the fact that theres not separation between her family and Jason’s family because they make their loving family together. As I said before, I cried, laughed, and fell in love with their story and I could keep writing about them but I don't want to give to much! GIVE THIS STORY A CHANCE, I BEG YOU!!!

**FULL REVIEW**

Reading about someone's life is a little surreal...

The fact that I know her, well...Kayla, don't count on me not being awkward when we finally meet in person!

I can honestly say, this real-life love story was worth every page. It's filled with hopes and dreams, heartache and loss, redemption and plans for the future. Every book gives us a glimpse into a real love story that truly happened between two (more than that if I'm being honest) people who were born to be together.

Kayla and Jason's beginning was rough. It was hard to read about her heartbreak and the depression she suffered while trying to pick up the pieces of her heart. As I read the second installment I had hope. Not necessarily for what was happening in the now, but where Kayla's path was leading her all along...now what I'd really like to know is Jason's side of the story! What was he doing while she was busy trying to forget him?

Which of course, brings me to the last book in the Trilogy. Falling in love gives me the dreamy-sighs. I love every second of that heart-pounding, butterfly-feeling, trembling with anticipation of falling that I could read this book over and over again...for that alone. Because this book, it had it all. Every emotion was laid out on the pages of this book. There were no stones left unturned and I truly fell in love right along with Kayla. (Not with Jason, she's mighty possessive of him.) It reminded me of my own love story...and gave me hope for anyone who reads this. Hope that true love exists. That it's real. And it's forever everlasting.

I read all three books within 26 hours! I loved all three of them! I first heard about this from book tok (Tik Tok) I decided to choose those books to help me determine if I liked the authors work. I absolutely do!! While I was reading thorough those three books, I related to a lot of things that happened in the book, especially in the 2nd book. I was in a relationship where I was absolutely not happy at all and the guy always never noticed me and always sat there playing games all day and night long. I felt like KD actually knew me so well because I was in the same exact boat! Loved these books, loved the happy ending, these books also reminded me of my relationship with my current man (who I strongly believe is my soulmate) , we have been together before then broke it off, then I went into another relationship all upset that I couldn’t have him, then two years later, left the lazy piece of ass and found my way back to my man that I’m currently with. I felt like I was reading through my life the past 4-5 years! Soooooo damn goood! I plan on reading all of her other books! I cannot wait!!!

Absolutely Love The Blogger Diaries!!!

I don’t really know what to say about these books except omg my mind is blown and I most definitely feel like I’ve run a marathon from all the emotions I went through while reading Wished For You, Wish He Was You and Wish come True. I laughed, I cried, I growled in anger, I did all those emotions repeatedly throughout all three books. KD Robichaux showed all her ups and downs, her hopes, her dreams, her sadness, her anger, her happiness, in these three books. And that took guts to open herself up that way and share with people she doesn’t even know. I don’t know what else to say except if you want to know how KD Robichaux ticks, if you want to know her personality well then get this box set and strap yourself into a chair and get ready for one hell of a ride because she’s going to give it to ya. ( Don’t forget to get a box of tissues though ;) ) Basically I highly recommend that you read The Blogger Diaries because you most definitely will not be disappointed in making that choice..

I am not sure how much I can describe how much I loved this trilogy...what makes it so much better is the fact that it is the true life love story of the author! Kayla and Jason’s story is one of ups and downs, love, loss and second chances and of course some pretty bad moves from Jason... but isn’t always the alpha males that try to run.. I was rooting for them from the moment Jason took the page and I am so happy that Kayla got her HEA! On top of it being an amazing love story, the book was also very well written which made it a breeze to read. I finished the entire trilogy in a day because I was so wrapped in. I can not recommend this book enough and I feel like everyone should read it!

Confession time.

I admit I bought the first book over a year ago but never read it. I kept putting off reading this author that I hadn’t heard of to read known to me authors. Mistake. I finally read book one this weekend and couldn’t put it down. I wanted to read books 2 and 3 badly enough to almost put my bank account in the negative to buy this box set.

It was fun getting a glimpse into KDR’s life. I teared up a couple of times because of what I was reading resembled my life. Those are the books that touch me the most.

I’m looking forward to reading more of her work (after payday 🤪).

Couldn't put it down

Just like KD 50 Shades consumed my world for 3 solid days during spring break from nursing school. I needed the distraction a single mother of 3 and 1 year old boys, working full time and going to school I had no life. This is when I became a fan of "Lady Porn" as she calls it. This series shows the ups and downs and HEA that most girls long to have. It's a break from whatever "not so perfect things" are happening in your own life while you smile that Jason comes to his senses and confesses his feelings for Kayla. I'm looking forward to starting more of her books.

This is a beautiful love story. We all read books and dream of the insta-love some books have. This book is the true story of inst-love and all the ups and downs that come along when life throws curveballs. This amazing couple had been through so much and then they found their happy back together, makes me a believer.

So sit back, grab a glass of wine and enjoy the ride of Jason and Kayla’s love story.

Absolute MUST read!

This trilogy takes you on the most amazing emotional roller coaster EVER! From wanting to go all drunk girl crazy and key Jason’s car in the first book (like, for reals), to Aiden in the second book (there are no words, he was such a man child), to trying to figure out how Kayla and Jason would get their HEA in the final book (cue the waterworks)! Seriously, take a long weekend off from work and just read all three back to back and don’t hate on Jason (much) when you finish the first one!

Gosh Dangit!

My heart was like a roller coaster with this one.

Knowing this is a full on true story of the author’s life, I was even more invested than I normally would be. Let me tell you! The emotions and truth behind every word had me feeling all the things from anger to heartbreak and sadness before feeling so incredibly happy that they got their HEA.

Because I truly believe this is not a HFN. Jason and Kayla’s love has already proven to defy the odds and I’m all the way here for it!

HFN

Simply amazing from beginning to end. I loved KD before reading this series, and even more so after reading "her" story. I truly feel we could be besties in real life if we lived closer to each other after reading this. Your story continues tomorrow. Lots of good vibes sent your way and virtual hugs. I feel this may deserve a fourth book in the series....just my wishful thinking.

Thanks to TikTok, I found this amazing author! This series is amazing! A genuine romance novel with bits of spice added in!

Falling in love with the authors style of writing! I felt super connect to all the characters and places! Born and raised in Texas where having beer at every get together is the norm.

Where now I’m planted in Savannah, Ga. My girlfriends and I take a girls trip to Myrtle beach once a year!

A real story of true love. This is K.D. and her husband Jason’s story of how they met, dissolved, and reunited to make a truly envious love story. I wholeheartedly recommend this trilogy to any romance reader who loves an HEA. I must say I loved Jason, hated him, loved him, wanted to give him great bodily harm. K.D told me that he would redeem himself. Boy did he ever. If you haven’t read this book be prepared to get sucked in. They’re definitely one of my top 10 couples.

Amazing HEA

I loved reading your real life love story!! For anyone interestedBook 1 is seeing the new girl in town meeting, becoming best friends and falling for the bad boy. Heartbreaking cliff hanger leading into book 2 which is a tough journey and still heartbreaking when rooting for them to be together but stick it out til book 3 because it is all pure HEA!

Also follow you on all your platforms and love seeing all the content you post!!

Hot Tamale!

I was curious about this book, not putting a lot of faith in it though as I keep finding duds lately. I am glad I was wrong, the story is sweet at moments. Heartbreaking in others & steamy hot in some. The story is relatable (as its based on real events duh not surprising) it also encourages you to push and try for your dreams. I already recommended it to my book group, and several friends. I look forward to reading more by KD.

Okay so I devoured the first two books in one afternoon if that tells you anything. I think my favorite book of the trilogy was the first. The angst, the build up, and the guy were perfection. I’ve read other works of the author’s before and she’s really becoming one of my favorite.

Lower on the spice but heavy on the love with a good plot line (I mean, it’s real life!). This is a feel good book that’s a good rebound for the heavy stuff, sure to cure your book hangover.

Loved this story!

As I told her when I recently got to meet Kayla, I was very mad at her husband for a while, but I knew I was going to love him in the end. And I did! I really enjoyed the realness of the story. I felt like I was feeling some of the same emotions as she was way back then. I also very much loved the look back in time of those years and reflecting on what I was remembered of those years also. Can’t wait to devour more books by Kayla!

Loved loved loved!!!!!

I loved this trilogy. I read it in 3 days and only put it down to feed my kids lol 🤣😂 I connected so much to Kayla and Jason, as a lot of their personal experiences related to so much of my husband and I’s relationship. I love KD’s writing style and felt like I was listening to a friend tell me her story.
