Sons of Templar MC #1-4

The Sons of Templar Box Set: Books 1-4

Rate this book
The first four books in the Sons of Templar series bundled into one box set. Making the Cut Gwen Alexandra does not need a man in her life. Especially not a man who looks like Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello's love child. One wearing leather, riding a Harley, and covered in tattoos. Gwen can bet every pair of her Manolo's that Cade Fletcher is trouble. From the moment she meets him, the attraction sizzles between them. Gwen has a problem when it comes to attractive men in motorcycle clubs. The last one she got involved with almost killed her. She tries to keep away from him, to ignore the attraction between them. But the biker has other ideas, soon she is in way over her head, and her heart, and her life are in danger once again. Firestorm Amy Abrams doesn’t do love. Nor does she do emotional attachments, unless you count the connection she has with designer handbags. She grew up in an Upper East Side penthouse, which had about as much affection within its tastefully decorated walls as Castle Dracula. Her family is the precise reason why she points her red-soled heels firmly in the opposite direction of that dreaded four-letter word. Then it happens. Love. It comes right out of the blue and knocks her off her six-inch heels. She learns that love comes with pesky side effects such as heartbreak, which seriously messes with the complexion. Amy promises herself that she’ll never open herself to that horrible feeling again. She doesn’t count on an infuriating, albeit drool-worthy biker to roar into her life and ruin the plans she had of locking up her heart. She keeps her distance, wary of the sinfully sexy biker whose tattoos should Warning - dangerous alpha male, will screw up your life. Out of the Ashes Living a life in darkness causes the soul to char to ash. Battling demons by turning himself into a monster is the only way he can survive...the only way he can keep a grip on sanity. That grip is precarious at best, every day is a silent battle with demons that threaten to yank him into the truest form of darkness, the abyss he’ll never escape. Then it happens. Light shines through the cracks. Beyond the Horizon Life is counted in tiny breaths, ones that measure the length of your existence. Life stole the ability to make those breaths easy when Lily was nine years old. Turned her quiet. Made her curl into herself, and shut out a world that threatened to bury her under its weight. The end of her world is what brings him back—her biker. His chocolate eyes pierce her soul while his club tempts her with a life that she didn’t know she could ever have. Especially not when she was clutching the tattered remains of her existence, and with a weight bearing down on her which makes her unfit for the role of Old Lady. Asher changes that. He wants to set about repairing it, repairing her and her broken world. The problem is, even his strong shoulders can’t carry the burden of her sorrow.

Enjoyable Box Set...

The great thing about a box set is you get the continuance and flow in one hit and with the Sons of Templar, this was the case here.

Gwen & Cade:-

I did enjoy this story and especially since it had a Kiwi flavour to it. This Couple were overall good although there were times Cade just went OTT which just seemed excessive and knowing what Gwen had been through with her ex, it seemed too much.

All the secondary characters seemed great and I look forward to reading their stories. Amy and Gwens banter was funny and I liked Lucky and look forward to Bulls story.

Amy & Brock:-

I got frustrated and annoyed really quickly with this book. As much as I liked the banter of Amy and Gwen and her sass early on, it quickly wore me down until it became just freaking annoying. Why Brock put up with it and continued to chase Amy was beyond me.

Brock seemed like a pretty great guy and Amy was this pain in the back side pretty much the whole freaking way through this book. I actually got to the point I actually didn't like her. She had a good heart for her fellow girlfriends but I just found the sassiness went just too far. Enough already.

Don't get me wrong, I love a strong woman character but Amy was just not, she was a utter biatch.

Once again the secondary characters were pretty good and entertaing. A few new characters popped up.

With book one I loved the length of it but this book couldn't finish quick enough for me.

Mia & Bull:-

Would have to say this was my favourite book out of the box set.

Loved Bull and it was nice, but sad at times, reading his back story in more depth than what we got from book 1 on what happened to his previous GF.

Mia and Lexie had a great relationship and really enjoyed their banter together.

I enjoyed Mia and Bull finding their HEA together and certainly loved their Epilogue. LOVE!!!

Lily & Asher:-

Didn't really get this book or this couple mainly because it came from left field I guess. As these two main characters were bearly mentioned previously it was surprising to read their story in this box set.

Don't get me wrong, I like Asher really quickly. Typical self assured biker who had a nice way about him. Lily seemed way too timid but I guess they worked because of each other's traits.

Overall an ok book which leads into Luckys book which I have been waiting for.

This was my first intro into Anne Malcolms writing and overall she has a good writing style and funny banter with some really good characters. I guess for me, I was surprised by the amount of grammar errors that were littered throughout the whole series. I am so surprised these books got published with so many basic errors still there. How did know one pick them up to get corrected.

Any who, overall I did enjoy this series and look forward to reading Luckys story as well as reading Lexie and Killans novellas.

Good!

Okay...this is the first series that I have read by this author, so I had no idea what to expect. As a whole, I have enjoyed this series and will read more by this author. I do look forward to going on to book 5.

Book 1 is Cade and Gwen's story. It was full of twists that you would expect from an MC book. Gwen has had a terrible time and moves to Amber to start a fresh. She really should stay clear from bikers because she suffered terrible abuse at the hands of her ex biker. However, the moment she meets Cade, she knows he is special and vice versa with him. Of course, there is never a dull moment. It keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Book 2 was Amy and Brocks story. This was my least favourite book of the series, because I felt it was very allow at the beginning and it was the same story as book 1, just from Amy's POV. Again, this book had many issues that left the couple fighting for a HEA. Although, I love Amy and Brock, I wasn't fond of their book.

Book 3 is Mia and Bulls story. Now, this was my favourite book of the series. I loved the characters of mia and Bull. They've both had a terrible past and they need each other to move on. The connection Bull has with Mia and her daughter Lexi, is really touching. I wish all of the books were like this one.

Book 4 is Archer and Lilly's story. I really enjoyed their story. Like all of the books in this series both characters have a past and need each other to heal. Lilly is grieving for her mother throughout this book and I felt for her, I

Wonderful

This box set covers books 1-4. I won’t do individual reviews on each book, I will say that each book is fantastic in its own way. The books build in intensity, each one had me laughing out loud and tearing up. The group of characters are amazing, each has their own quirks and flaws. And each couple are perfectly suited to one another. I especially loved Bull and Mia, I was just so happy that they both got a second chance at a HEA. The female leads were strong and independent, except for Lily, she was unconventionally strong, and Asher was perfect for her.

Overall these books were a great read, the last book was maybe a little longer than needed, a lot of the story felt repetitive, so I will admit I did skim a lot of that. Other than some minor typos and a wrong name used (Kingston/Knox) in book 4, the books flowed well and were easy to get lost in.

Looking forward to the rest of the series.

This was a new to me author recommended by a friend and I'm glad that she did. This was a very enjoyable MC box set. 3.5-4 stars!

Gwen & Cade - Loved them and their story! A great beginning to the series.

Amy & Brock - Their story was just okay for me.

Mia & Bull - Omg! I freaking loved this story! Everything about the two main characters was fantastic and Mia's relationship with her daughter was awesome to read. This book was by far the best of the set.

Lily and Asher - This poor couple had a lot to live up to after the last book. This might have been my least favorite of the set.

I will admit that there are typos throughout the book and a few other little things, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the series overall. If you enjoy alpha males on bikes then this is definitely worth the read. And it's a very good price for 4 books.

This box set gives you the first FOUR amazing books in the Sons of Templar series. I have never wanted an alpha biker so much in my life. All I can say is if you like badass bikers with sassy as hell ladies, you will love this series. Anne Malcolm introduces to Cade and Gwen in Making the Cut, where we meet the men of Templar. We roar into Firestorm where we follow Amy and Brock. Rise like a phoenix in Out Of the Ashes for Bull and Mia. Beyond the Horizon is the final book in the set and tells us the love story of Lily and Asher. Couldn't put them down and can't wait for more on the Sons of Templar.

This was my first time reading this author and I have to say I am in love with her. Anne has a way of capturing your heart, making you feel everything and loving each character no matter what their roll is. This series has pulled my heart strings and wrapped me up into a whole new world. Everyone of these stories has it's own story and you can't help but fall in love with each one, making you want more. You cannot go wrong with this series, she has made me love MC.

New auto click authoir!

These books were recommended to me on another authors fan site. And the similarities were almost too much at first. But I'm glad I stuck with it. As Ms Malcolm found her own storytelling voice the stories really spoke to me. These books offer some of the best elements of the mc romance genre but still manage to have their own twist.

Can you say sucked in?

This series sucked me in from the very beginning. If you like hot alpha bikers it's in there. The women are strong, feisty and even comical at times. There is suspense, danger and happy endings. A little bit of something for everyone.

Beyond the Horizon is a wonderful look at surviving when even your own body is fighting you.

Beyond the Horizon is a perfect glimpse into what life can look like with the perfect man to sweep a girl up, and how she saves herself in the end.

Lily's anxiety has become so much worse since her Mom got sick, but she feels like she can't trust anyone - she has to do it all by herself. Asher is probably the sweetest of all of SOT's bikers, but that doesn't make him any less deadly.

Asher just wants Lily to know he'll be there for her, and that he wants to take care of her, but in the end Lily has to decide whether she can accept that or the loneliness that will swallow her if she doesn't let Asher in.

A sweet story of love and the sacrifices we're willing to make for it.

Wow it has been awhile since I have read an MC series and I was not disappointed. Each story flowed smoothly into each one. The stories of strong women who tame the bikers of SOT is awesome.

I am not great at writing reviews but I would soooo recommend this series and any other books that Anne has written. I have a few more of her books to read and plan on getting through all of them at some point. I am glad to have been introduced to Anne Malcom and plan on continuing to support her in the future.

Sons of Templar Books 1-4. Book 1 Gets the ball rolling and sets the follow up bar pretty high. I LOVED book 1. Book 2 sets the bar even higher with Amy and Brock's story. However that same ball takes a huge leap into the land of 5 star books with Bull's story and I honestly didn't think it could get much better but Book 4 Beyond The Horizon was beautifully written and the characters involved have all grown throughout the series and it is amazing that you can read it taking place! Now time to start Dauntless!! Book 5 in this AWESOME series!!
